We do have a tank driver on board as well, so not out of the question. I think getting in would be the main problem, but once you've crossed over anything is possible. And I'm sure not all the cars would eat you... maybe.

I'm just a big fan of STALKER and Metro. The fact that this RP is inspired by it, yet Grestin's taken more than just a few steps to distance it from the inspiration, is a breath of fresh air. There's not a lot I don't know about Stalker and Metro, but there's plenty to explore and uncover here. That's the real accomplishment.

Biography: Born in Tangiers, Morocco to Belgian born worker at the Moroccan Embassy Amber D. Martin and his father who also worked there, Antoine V. Martin Francois C. Martin was born outside of the Belgian territory so he was declared a citizen by both Belgium and Morocco. He grew up in Morocco and was raised at a local school there to help him be better immersed in local customs and traditions, however he also took many language learning courses mastering Arabic, English, German and Berber by the age 15 and continuing study on Russian and Dutch until the end of high school. He made several friends such as Ibrahim Ait-Charif who became like a brother to him, they were the same age and their birth days were only two days apart with him being slightly older. He grew to love Morocco and decided to join the Moroccan Gendarme aged 18. He served for five years in the Moroccan Gendarme which he became a member of their Special Anti-Terror Task Force which was mainly concerned with engaging enemy forces in Western Sahara due to the fact that both Algeria and Al-Queda were funneling funds to the Polizarrio Front there. He made many friends there such as his brother in arms Ibrahim Ait-Charif who survived the war with him. They were in the same unit and in 2002 engaged an enemy Polizarrio force in Mijek a small Polizarrio controlled town in West Sahara, Al-Queda forces and Algerian contacts were there at the moment so their armored force were greeted with rpg fire. However, during the battle to follow most of their Gendarme force was lost. They managed to capture seven Polizarrio higher ups (as in officers) and sent them back north for a trial. However the event confirmed his fear that local officials were in on the event and the direct influence of Algeria on the conflict. His squad was only rarely deployed from that point on as many began to suffer from PTSD caused by the use of Nail Bombs, Suicide Bomber children and Hell like conditions of the area just after the war. Because of this when their five year term was up Francois moved back to Tangiers with his friend Ibrahim.

After less than six months back in Tangiers, he and Ibrahim rejoined the Moroccan Royal Gendarmerie for a three year commitment. They went through training and after some string pulling from his relatives in the military managed to remain in a unit with Ibrahim. They were deployed on a UN peacekeeping mission to Bangui, Central African Republic the next year and though the first month and a half was calm soon news of a terrorist christian group emerged. They were soon deployed to Bria to protect local safety and securities against these terrorists. Not a week later a militia of 50 men attacked their two squad force in the town and they were forced to take up defensive positions and call in air support. Air support would not come for 5 hours due to other attacks in the country ensuing at the time, so he and his fellow men barricaded themselves inside a Mosque, the local Muslims pledging support them. A dozen and a half Muslims armed themselves and together there were 39 men, 14 UN workers, 1st Squad being Belgian and 2nd Squad being German, during the siege they came under direct attack and their barricade collapsed. They were in several positions throughout the Mosque and took out each militiaman as he/she entered, only three defenders were shot during the first two hours while enemy bodies piled up on the doorsteps. But suddenly a Toyota Hillux Slammed through the doors with a gunner on top. Francois lifted his arm and threw a grenade but then was shot in his lower torso. As one of the four medics in the team this impeded their ability to treat the other wounded men and so he requested to be the last man treated. Finally the third hour ended and air support began gunning the men further from the Mosque. The christian militia packed up and left for their home base and the UN peacekeepers were successful in protecting the locals, only one local, one of the injured Muslims who had assisted the UN task force was so injured it required the amputation of the toes on his left foot and the rest of the men were hardly injured. Francois was taken to a hospital in the capital and the task force was recalled to be replaced with another.

The last year and a half of service were spent in Morocco, and when their time was up he was asked to work with the Deuxième Bureau to assist in Anti-Terror actions under the joint command by the Belgian Special Forces Group. He was reluctant to not serve along side his long time friend Ibrahim, but Ibrahim was going to start up a shop with his brother who had recently also moved to Belgium where Francois had set him up with an immigration opportunity and so they parted ways. In 2009 Francois was on his first operation, suppressing an Al-Queda terror cell in the outskirts of Samara. He was deployed with four other men who stormed the Al-Queda HQ and took out the enemy threat. The swiftness and actions of all the men in the operation saw many of them promoted to squad leaders within the Belgian Special Forces. He was deployed into China as a businessman investigating an Illegal Arms sale to North Korea being conducted by a Belgian with connections to the French Armed Forces. The connection was found and they assassinated the businessman and his contacts and connections. This would be the first major operation Francois was involved in. He was later deployed disguised in suits to Algeria where they were attempting to connect an Algerian Politician with Al-Queda contacts. Francois was supposed to pose as Belgian Contact welling to help finance Al-Queda in exchange for a favor. When the plan worked Francois discovered his knack for charisma in business like situations From then on several secret actions were conducted worldwide involving Francois from Angola to French Guyana to Somalia to Pakistan and he continued to rise in prestige. However, after a long service in the Moroccan and Belgian Armed forces he ended his career aged 32. He reconnected with Ibrahim who was now fairly successful working in Brussels, Belgium and he joined his business. They decided after a while that traveling would be a nice thing to do now that they were able to, so they began by going on tour in Greece where they visited several islands such as Corfu and Rhodes, their next trip was in Italy where Ibrahim found a girl that he immediately connected with. They got married less than a year later and settled in Brussels where Ibrahim's company was starting to take off as it turned into a chain of Moroccan themed shops taking advantage of the number of immigrants from Morocco living in Belgium. Francois decided to continue touring other locations, now on his own, though, being cautious due to his past career in counter-terrorism, he got a gun license first and purchased a Glock 27. He pooled money together and decided to start in the United States. He traveled to New York City, and stayed in the city for half a year due after he met a girl and fell in love, he even considered moving to New York one day. However, he wanted to see more of what the US had to offer, so, with his girlfriend he went to Philadelphia, Baltimore, Atlanta, Tampa, Miami, New Orleans, Houston, and eventually ended up in Las Vegas, by then they had been together for nearly a year and he considered proposing to her when they reached San Francisco. Along the way he had purchased firearms to go hunting which he decided he would do somewhere out in the western United States. However, Las Vegas became a nightmarish hell hole overnight and so Francios fled to the outer limits only to be fired on by US soldiers. Confused and disoriented he went into hiding completely baffled as to what was going on and watching as the world around him descended into chaos. In that chaos he lost his girlfriend when a building morphed cutting them off from one another. He barely managed to escape after days of bizarre and unbelievable experiences and immediately abandoned his plans for the trip. He cancelled the rest of his time in the United States and took a flight home on Delta Airlines landing early in the morning in Brussels. However, he had posted pictures while he was in Vegas, and the Belgian Government eventually discovered this.

He was contacted a year later by the Belgian Special Forces Group, the European Union was highly skeptical about the US's behavior in regards to 'the Zone' and confronted him requesting he investigate the area and find the source of the anomalies and then report information back to the Belgian government, if needed by fleeing to the Belgian Embassy in Mexico. He hated the idea of exploring the area once again, but in hopes he'd find the woman he loved, he accepted the offer. He underwent a year and a half of training before he made a trip to the United States taking similar gear to what he brought the first time around. Landing this time in Denver he stayed in the city for a week having a firearm smuggled to him. A FN FNC and a bayonet attachment along with 300 5.56×45mm NATO rounds. Once he collected his weaponry, he made his way to the Mojave desert avoiding military checkpoints and surveying the area for several months before he finally decided on how he'd enter the exclusion zone. He currently is located in the outskirts of Mesquite.

Jean was taking a nap, or what he called a break from the hellhole he lived in. A simple break from the world around him. The sun was setting and it was starting to get close to night. But Jean had adopted a way of life incompatible with the sleep at night, live at day. He simply slept when he was able and only got up to get work done. His duffel bag next to him half full of items, gun in his hand a bottle of almost empty wine sitting next to him. A cool breeze blew from the rubble in a broken down pre-war shop he was calling home for the day. He had had worse days. He continued to slumber until he heard... felt a tap, then another. Now there were rattling sounds bouncing off the wal... "Shit!". He got up making sure his gun was loaded before sealing and packing the wine and getting up. He then picked up his duffel bag and inspected the gun again, checking for jams, grime, it was a bit dusty but otherwise fine, he wiped the dust of the Napoleonic insignia on his nine millimeter handgun. Then he got to work, he peered through a crack in the window, the fight sounded like it was coming from the right, but he couldn't be sure. He raced up the steps and peered from a crack in the wall. "Yup, definitely from the right." He went back downstairs and opened the door. He crouched and slowly moved down the street and stealthily snuck behind the houses to the train station. He had heard fighting there earlier when a caravan had wandered through the area, he had considered business with them and was about to go when the fight broke out and some of the caravaneers dropped to the ground. Now heading in that direction he hoped he wouldn't be seen and tried to make the least noise possible as he walked in his casual pre-war ware. It was cloudy and he hoped it would rain. Then he could sneak out while raiders hid from the rain. It would be painful, but he would do anything to get out of this part of town. He saw a crater and decided to take cover there until the raiders left as he could hide behind several barriers formed by the rubble there. He found the shortest way through the road to it. Ran in its direction. And fell under heavy fire. He charged at full speed to avoid the bullets, thank god they were far away or their aim may have been more deadly. He then saw a tunnel likely leading to a cavern. As he slowly walked in the gunfire stopped and then resumed but now in the other direction. For now he was safe. He slid down a caved in ceiling to find a man resting there, now worried he put his gun away and tried to politely say "Hello" in his best English accent. The man sat there so he said it again, now in a slightly louder voice "Hello."

Biography: This MUST be at least two paragraphs Jacob was born in a small town in South Carolina. His father was a share cropper and his mother the nagging house wife. His childhood was simple blessed by the rewards of a humble life in the country. As a teenager he was strong and handsome, the typical popular jock. Not good enough a line backer for a college scholarship and with par passing grades.

Jacob became aware that his glorly days would soon be over. He poked a hole in a condom in a plot to pregnant his high school sweet heart, Emma Grot. HIs plan a success Emma was forced to withdraw from school. Jacob needing to support his young daughter Janis he quit his job as a garage hand and became a trucker. Emma and Jacob relationship which was already rocky at best was even further impaired by Jacob job. For he was rarely there for either of them, too busy hauling such and such to somewhere.

Jacob took up the use of cocaine as a way to keep him awake on the road. With less stops for sleeping he had more time for his family. This was short lived as his drug addiction got the better end of senses. Creating a bitterness between Emma and him. To make up for the lost affection at home he turned to nasty truck stop prostitues for company.

When he brought back a souvenir from his adventures (gonorrhea). HIs wife was quick divorce him], leaving him for 'Sloppy Dan" of Dan`s grill and bar. No longer having a home to return to Jacob would spend his off time in shady places. Expermenting with harder drugs and nastier broads, he would 'Befriend' a petty drug lord known as " conejo verde" who would employ him as a smuggler for drugs, weapons, sex trafficing and whatever else happened to be in demand.

I did. And tbh, the Zone would likely be the strangest thing that happened in Human history.

PTSD is very hard to manage when put in a stressful or chaotic situation.
In its worst stages it can cause blackouts and emotional outbreaks, impairments to rational thinking. Also it effects the nerves causing shakes could interfere with gun control and such.
