Tbh, that's a bit much. The Hungarian demands weren't as bad as they seemed, in fact they don't limit my freedom of movement in the RP too much. Everyone is saying all this talk of Hungarian imperialists and humiliation due to retrospect knowledge of the situation in the Balkans in the pre-WW1 decades; looking at the situation without considering this makes it much more favourable for Serbia.
Plus, I wouldn't be talking after seeing the rhetoric used in the Bulgarian message to Moscow - it sounds more like a surrender than a request. Btw, I have never seen a more aggressive alliance request before. Your message implies that this 'defensive' alliance will instantly allow Bulgaria to declare war on both Serbia and Hungary. Most defensive alliances start of as just that - defensive - and not where you clearly state your adversary/ies and declare you can only proceed to open conflict with said nation's backing. Anybody would be an idiot to assume you have purely defensive reasons for this alliance.
I was imply trying to be respectful because I desperately need this alliance. I am not planning on declaring war on either you or Hungary. I am perfectly ready to work out a peaceful solution, but I fear that after you, I will be next. I am also trying to think about how a sudden Hungarian ultimatum would feel to the people of my nation. It did seem like an almost overnight change within your nation and with the sudden attempted assassination of the Tsar, the Cabinet and Tsar himself are more than slightly concerned that someone in a powerful other country have attempted to destroy my government. I am not trying to say it was you or Hungary. It was probably just anarchists, but with the later news, it may have seemed like it was a plot.
Tsar Alexander has now sent a letter to your Prince, asking for your assurances of neutrality and independence. He has also held back the letter to Russia, btw, until you respond. Hopefully, there will be no need to become embroiled in a potential world war and weaken our nations.

They've also only ever had one dynasty. I doubt it'll be even remotely plausible for the Japanese to overthrow their emperor.

Japan has a plethora of issues it faces domestically and in her colonies. Address those if you must keep occupied and nl other players are involved. If you want war, have a colonial revolt in Korea.
