I think it could be interesting to have an independent California and I think Reatra is probably capable of doing it. It's just that this app displays way too many of the patterns I've seen from him of wanking areas he's fond of and writing himself into the RP to a ridiculous extent.

Basically, the independent states that didn't join are : Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Most of them didn't join due to general distrust of the government following the Butler regime, and the leftist views of the NAU.

Not really. While you'll scare a lot of people and develop quite a following, I'm willing to bet that most see the benefits outweighing the downsides

The NAU couldn't do anything, or much of anything anyways. Every member state would have to agree to military or economic retaliation, and then even more problems would come when they have to actually agree on what to do.
