It honest to god is way too fucking variable in my opinion... one nation which brought extra-galactic tech over from its home galaxy to escape from galactic war over there is here [Allied Coalition/Old Confederacy], there's a nation that can Zero-Point Energy [Azyrians but I scrapped them, kindof] and then there are the Kelraaza, the only species/nation with tech and such as old as the Highbreed.

The Covenant primarily uses energy weapons (plasma and lasers), as well as railguns on our ship, but we are currently conducting research into dark matter and dark energy weaponry.

Energy Blade- A melee weapon which projects a blade of pure hard light (light that has been manipulated into a solid state, capable of holding weight). They are normally wielded by the Psionists.

Magneto Cannon- A new weapon meant to replace the old plasma cannon. It utilizes molten metal suspended in an electromagnetic field as its ammunition. Utilizing dark energy, the metal is accelerated to a fraction of the speed of light, meaning it is capable of piercing any known armor and shredding an enemy soldier.
