Hey Stralend, would you be willing to become a protectorate of the Covenant?

If you accept, the Covenant could uplift your nation, giving you access to better technology (including FTL technology) and more resources. The Covenant may even stabilize Jahare's atmosphere in order to reverse the effects of the nuclear winter.

Perhaps, But I will need to roll some dice for this one. This requires the support of the entirety of the confederacy.

+ By this point the Tufters way of life has changed so much I'm not even sure if they could go back to living on Jahare. They have evolved to live in inhospitable places (albeit for a short amount of time) and on Space Stations. And Jahare is basically the proof to the Tufters that peace and unity among the Tufter race is essential. So an alliance/protectorate status would be fine (providing I believe the confederacy would accept it which I haven't decided yet) but the stabilising of Jahare would be useless at this point. In fact the nuclear winter is helpful to the Tufters as it causes dust storms which make Pirates and foreign Exploerers crash allowing their ships to be scavenged. And Jahare is not in a good state. It's completely covered in white/grey and brown ash and during the day it is ravaged by horrific storms which could basically tear a non Tufter ship to pieces (Tufter ships are built to be resistant but could still be torn apart after a long time), it's animals are very very hostile and it is highly irradiated.

I think Spindle needs to help me write the post concerning Gawain's arrival.

Also, Gawain is so totally going to prove to the Empress not only is he more mature and prepared than she was, but he is also despite his young age a powerful ruler.

Yay for Taari Cultural Influence! :D

Okay, I'm down for that. We could provide high quality accurate Skirmishers and Sniper for your armies as well as any materials we have left that you want. Would you be able to help us produce better, more advanced weaponry? Radiation rifles tend to damage non radiation resistant allies as well. Helping us set up mining operations on the other planets and moons in our home system would be appreciated. We already have mining operations on all of Jahares moons though

Pendragon is accepted. Will update list by tonight. Also I found out that if I type in the word (Don't say it) in the search bar, I can find apps. Also you do realize that the Empress was 19 when she became monarch right? Ostia has large tracts of lands and has fifteen large areas of cityscape. Think of Ostia as countryside (they want to make their capital very pretty) with a few cities on it. But these tracts of land are also used by numerous organizations such as the Houses of Ostia and the government. They really want Ostia to be beautiful and breath-taking.

Oh, I know. It's just, she wasn't exactly trained or prepared to be Empress, not right from birth; she wasn't expecting the duty to fall on her, either.

Gawain is an only son / only child heir to two nations which combined under his rule into one, survived an attempted coup which he defeated easily, among other things. Not only that, but Gawain was prepared and pampered his entire life to become Emperor of at least one nation, not just two. So the fact he rules two-nations-made-one ontop of all that... yeah, he's probably far more mature and prepared to rule than she was, and therefor could probably be considered a more well-rounded leader.

Plus natural Taari warrior/soldier training and training from Dad on military strategies and such, he's also good at military. He's literally the 'perfect leader.'

I just got an idea concerning Emperor Gawain and Empress Lenina...
