Yeah that too. Basically, the North's like Russia: big and sparse. The South's like India: densely populated. We don't really do much near the core: too much x-ray radiation.

You are aware the Galactic Core is [most likely] a Supermassive Blackhole, like most other galactic cores? Going into the Core is asking for spaghettification.

The Holy Empire believes that their god is the Galactic Core. They'd send in a drone to confirm it. If the drone gets destroyed, then they'd confirm that their god does not inhabit the core, but somewhere else.

Partly correct, but...

"The Milky Way is a barred spiral galaxy that has a diameter usually considered to be about 100,000–120,000 light-years but may be 150,000–180,000 light-years. "

It still isn't anywhere near above 200,000 Lightyears, though.
