Abilities(If any): Ability to manipulate technology. She can directly view an alter code in her mind. Also, she doesn't know this yet, but she has a healing factor.

Bio: Honor was born in New England, to two Japanese parents. She frequently clashed with her parents, who wanted her to be more American instead of acting like she was from Japan and not the USA. She was almost a typical problem child during her early teenage years, her tense relationship with her parents causing her to lash out unexpectedly at others due to stress. Still, she had a good amount of friends and she used her ability to help increase her social status before being invited to the Academy.

Personality: At first glance, it appears that Honor is reckless and adventurous, and she appears like the type who could easily become popular, but under the surface, she's unsure about herself. She has borderline personality disorder, which causes her to become attached to others, and also gives her an intense fear of being abandoned. She's also fiercely defensive of Japan.

Bio: Benson, from Portland, mostly grew up as a loner who kept to himself. Almost a stereotypical nerd, but not quite, he was more of a creative type growing up. He didn't have a lot of friends, but he didn't want to have tons of friends considering that he sees himself as superior to most others. He gained the League's attention when he used his ability to rob a bank in Oregon.

Personality: Benson is ruthlessly efficient, not just in school or work but in life. He cares the most about setting goals and then getting those goals done in the fast and best way possible. He doesn't usually care for other people, because in his mind, they're too inefficient for him, and they'll drag him down. He sometimes has a near complete lack of social skills.

Bio: Gabriel doesn't actually know about her past. She remembers arriving in Scandinavia a few years ago, but nothing from before then. She originally arrived at one of the League's Strongholds, Stronghold Sweden, and began working for them, and she quickly gained the attention of the leadership because of her skill. Unfortunately, she got involved in a conflict with Question, who was at the time the commander of Stronghold Sweden, which resulted in her being locked away and sent to Nepal, the most far flung of the League's bases.

Personality: Gabriel's personality runs hot and cold, sometimes she'll be warm and friendly but other times she'll be cold and sarcastic, or just flat out angry. She still has pretty good self control, she'll threaten a lot but rarely will fulfill her threats unless she's actually enraged.

Abilities: Mechanized Madness - She conjures 5 mechanical servants to assist her in tasks. Their design varies at will, she commonly uses a basic model for non-combative assistance and a more threatening model as a standard combative unit.

Bio: Rinyo is an orphan who was taken in by the Esha family. A group of inventors who design and create robots for various purposes, ranging from cooking and cleaning to lawn care and warfare. When her parents discovered this power they took advantage of it, using it to speed production time when producing multiple copies of a prototype to impress investors. Though she was praised by her new family and assistants, she disliked the barriers the world around her placed when she tried to create something of her own creation. her family and few friends were always supportive of her desire to design robots but instead of sketching them out and planning them she would create them using her powers, which caused those around her to panic.

Frustrated with how the world had tried to constrict her, she swore to turn it into a world where inventors could build without limit.

Note: Her world goal is to turn the world into a place like Rapture from Bioshock. A "perfect" place where the morals of society do not confine scientists and inventors.

Personality: Rinyo is a fairly spastic person. She is often quiet and calm though when asked about the success of older inventions, her psychosis shows itself as she rants about how society makes technological advancement nearly impossible. She enjoys designing prototype robots designed for various aspects of life, though she possesses a bizarre dislike for smartphones.

• In life or death situations, he can surpass his human limitations and temporarily regain his Demon Form. During this time, he becomes even more vulnerable than before since his body sacrifices its natural defense for greater speed and attack. Afterwards, he will usually collapse from exhaustion and fall unconscious.
• Due to him being in a world outside of his own, many of his abilities require a high amount of concentration and cause him to feel extreme fatigue.

Bio: He was originally from a world of demons. Fire was the only thing that they knew. Fire and darkness. When demons went on a rampage through his village, he was the only survivor. He could have helped them, but he was too late. Everything was destroyed. As he stood there in shock, one of the creatures took a chance to attack him. The blow was fatal. He layed there in the dirt as his blood puddled around him. Everything was becoming so distant...so dark. Right when the life faded from his eyes, something unexpected happened. There was a bright flash of light and he woke up.

He was in a new world. Everything was so strange. So unfamiliar. When he tried to remember what happened, he cringed in pain as he suffered from a severe migraine. All he could remember was a name, Meire. His body felt steange to him. A different sort of strange. He was somewhat human. After his death, he was gifted a new life in a new world. He no longer knew what he was, who he was, where he came from. All he knew was that somehow everything had changed and he was going to have to adapt.


Personality: He is typically quiet and antisocial. Due to his actions and tone, he appears to suffer from depression. He loves to be alone. The silence allows him to be at peace with himself. Most of his past can't be remembered, but he will occasionally regain some memories.

Bio: She has always been a fun and playful person. Without her, Meire and Lance would have killed each other by now. She awoke in a word of fire as a small child. She was no more than five years old. She didn't know where she came from. Not even a name. She found Meire shortly after she had awoken. He was fighting another demon. A demon who matched his strength. This demon was Lance. Ever since they met, the two have been rivals.

Eventually, they took notice to the young girl. She was alone. She had no family. She needed help. That was the first time that Meire and Lance had stopped fighting. They stopped fighting in order to help her. Ever since that day, the three of them have been great friends. They remained friends even after Meire had become the ruler of their plane.

After Meire's death, their's shortly followed. Although, they did retain their memories upon entering the new world.

Personality: She is a fun loving person. Ever since she was a child, she always loved to manipulate others including her two friends. She sees it as her job to preserve their friendship no matter the cost. They are everything that she has, and she won't let anything get in the way of that. Even though she seems to be very capable of emotion, she doesn't understand love. Most of the time, she can be very cheerful.

Bio: Ever since his childhood, he has been Meire's rival. As they grew up together, Violet came along and acted as a glue to create and maintain a friendship between the three. When Meire became the lord of their plane, Lance was constantly jealous of his friends power and control over their realm.

After Meire's disappearance, Lance decided to take his place until they could find their ruler once more. His reign didn't last long, though, the demons that killed their ruler invaded the palace and massacred the guards.

Lance managed to hold them back until he was overwhelmed by their numbers and slaughtered. Violet, having seen this, screamed at the top of her lungs. That was the last thing that he remembered before waking up in the new world. Violet was unconscious next to him, only she looked different. Unlike Meire or Violet, his appearance didn't change. The reasons behind this remains unknown.

Personality: He is a social and flirtatious person who loves a good joke. Unlike Meire or Violet, he is insane. He loves to watch the life fade from the eyes of his enemies. To hear them scream in pain as he slowly mangled their living bodies. He keeps this side of himself hidden unless he ends up in a fight. Many have feared him in the demon world. The only one who he would even consider obeying would me Meire. When Lance is in Meire's presence, he commonly shows disrespect in playful or sarcastic ways.

Bio: She is a descendent of Lucifer. A daughter if you wish. Humans have always fascinated her, although her father saw them as vile, flawed creations. Yet she never let this ruin her hopes of meeting one. During her teenage years, she met a young Demon Lord by the name of Meire. They were friends. Best friends in fact. She was the only person that he opened up to. He let her see the inner side of him. The joy, the sadness, everything. She cared about him, but when he vanished she saw it as a sign of betrayal. He just left them in their greatest time of need. Her father could have cared less about the small kingdom. After all, war was only natural. Lucifer always saw her as a stain upon his name. He was the ruler of hell and his oldest daughter was the product of him and a Succubus. He cared littke for her. When the war came, he let her perish with the rest of them.

She awoke in the mortal world a few days after Meire. She regained many of her memories within the first month. She knew she sensed him there, and she needed to find him.

Personality: Her personality is at a constant state of change. One moment she can be hard and aggressive, the next she could cheerful and bubbly. This may be due to the traumatic events she has suffered before. There are a few words that tend to trigger an aggressive response, but they shall remain unknown.

Bio: Not much is know about Zayne, mainly because he wants it that way. When he discovered his powers he knew he was destined for great things and he didn't want his past getting in the way of it. In order to cover up any loose ends that could come back to haunt him, Zayne destroyed his hometown at the age of 15. With that part of his past out of the way, he wandered the world while he grew more powerful.

Personality: Zayne is highly intelligent and a specialist in strategy and tactics. He prefers to analyze the situation before taking action. However if he gets angry, he loses his temper quickly and strikes out at his surrounding area.

Abilities: Matthew possesses the ability to manipulate, project, and manifest his body's energy, which has opened up a wide range of possibilities and options for him to explore. While this diversity enables him to surprise enemies with new moves and develop powerful techniques, he has intentionally limited himself to specific areas that best suit his talents, especially enhancing his strength and speed, as well as manifesting his energy into a solid form capable of tearing through strong materials and providing a resilient defense that could be used to block other powers. However, this ability comes with several significant draw-backs, most notably its tendency to quickly exhaust the user (in this case, Matthew) if used for prolonged periods of time.

Bio: (Crappy bio, I know) Matthew was born in the slums of New York City in the midst of a major recession; from an early age he was subject to physical, psychological and emotional abuse by his parents, oftentimes receiving beatings and threats. His needs were often neglected - this would ultimately help manifest his powers quicker, as he was under a situation of constant pressure. As it began to surface, Matthew found himself unable to keep his powers in check - at school, he separated himself from the other classmates, rarely talking unless he was spoken to. His surfacing powers would eventually prove fatal to both his parents, when he released them in an outburst of rage after attempting to defend himself. Their true cause of death would be unknown, and after a couple years in an orphanage, he would be placed under the care of a foster parent, a retired villain who slipped into a life of obscurity. While he would attempt to suppress his powers, fearful of its repercussions, this would not hold for very long, as Matthew would be discovered. He would ultimately learn to embrace this, and spent the next few years training to control his powers, diversify his abilities, and improve his endurance and stamina. He would commit a string of (mostly) minor crimes, always using his powers to slip away undetected, under the guidance of his parent. Realizing the potential, Matthew would be enrolled in the so-called Academy of Villains in order to further develop his abilities.

Personality: Usually reserved and quiet on the outside; lazy, and prefers not to fight unless he can't get away from it. However, when Matthew really tries, he can focus as was the case with his training. Indifferent/sometimes outright cold to people he doesn't know, although he can be friendly, at times.

Name: Anton Greaves

Abilities(If any): Anton possess a superior mind, capable of processing events nine times faster than a normal human. He is a master strategist, coming up with a plan for every contingency. Being genetically altered, he is the peak human specimen and possesses a healing factor that can burn out most poisons, with the most lethal toxins leaving him violently ill for a couple hours. He is also a scientist, pioneering a new field: techno-organics. He has total control over his mind, making him immune to mind control and allowing him to create powerful telepathic "ports" where people can tap into his thoughts, increasing coordinations between his techno-organisms or allies.

The symbiote increases his abilities to superhuman levels, and it's armor grants him flight. The symbiote also is capable of releasing techno-organic tendrils which can be shaped into weapons or stay as tendrils. The armor is reactive, staying liquid so Anton has mobility but hardening when hit by kinetic energy. The suit is also able to counter and direct most energy attacks. It is equipped with many scanners, the most import being the dimensional one he has created to ensure he is aware of any incursions. The suit can allow for accelerated healing in allies, using the suit's nanites and Anton's healing factor. It has a comlink, a GPS device, and has the ability to hack in mid-low tier encryption.

His weaknesses: Just because his mind can process faster does not mean he can react fast enough to protect himself, even with his enhanced reflexes. His healing factor can't heal him from very traumatic brain or heart wounds. If the telepathic link between his symbiote and him is cut, the symbiote will be removes, the shock of which would leave him in a comatose state. This can only be done if Anton wants this willingly, or if an extremely advanced telepathic warrior can get past his defenses and knows where to pull him apart. Although he cannot be compelled telepathically, he can still be manipulated by those playing his emotions and trust.

His suit can be broken through if his enough times. Magic is also effective against it, as the suit has no natural countermeasures against it yet. The Suit cannot run too many functions at once, so he can really only run a few before overtaxing his suit.

Bio: Anton was born in specialized chamber, the combination of a psychic mother and a technomancer father. Their goal was to create a child with physic and technological powers, as well as possess a genius level intellect. Unforunately, their conversion process wasn't perfect, granting Anton the increased intelligence, but limited superpowers. He possessed psychometric abilities, shatter-point vision, and could create powerful telepathic ports in his mind, but nothing else. To subvert this, they focused on "feeding" his mind with information, allowing Anton to have spent all his learning before he emerged from the tube. Once he was released, he had the body of a 21 year old, but was only truly alive for a day.

He spent the next few years trying to find his niche. He originally tried to go into robotics, but found that AI's often lacked ingenuity necessary to adapt. He tried going purely into genetics, but found that even a perfect genetic specimen could be outclassed by machines. To rectify this, Anton created a new field with his parents: techno-organics. The field strived to learn way to combine nano-machines with living cells, creating things that could think like a human but transcend and survive in places humans couldn't. To prevent them from destroying humans or outpacing them, Anton ensured that the these techno-organic lifeforms were symbiotes. They would gain energy from bonding with a host, allowing the host to use the symbiote's power while the symbiote lived off telepathic energy or thoughts. Because Anton was both psychic sensitive and possess an incredible mind, he combined with the symbiote.

When he did so, he saw a vision of other worlds, each threatening to use humanity for it's own ends. Refusing to allow humans to be controlled, exploited, or killed, Anton set forth to create new symbiotes and other techno-organic marvels to help humanity protect itself. Unfortunately, the process of creating these inventions requires human test subjects, something that is hard to come by willingly as Anton is unwilling to work for one government. So he has joined this Academy in hopes that he will find a way to come across more human test subjects, or an alternative way to create what he sees as humanity's salvation.

Personality: Anton is a good humored man who likes people, going out of his way to talk to people. He is willing to make friends, but due to his paranoia finds it hard to confide in anyone for fear that they would use this to harm him in some fashion. Logic rules his mind more than passion, and thus is willing to sacrifice all but the closest of allies if needed for his plans, and willing to sacrifice anything to protect the planet.

Despite him being a villain, Anton truly believes he has done nothing wrong. He believes that there are threats out there that could threaten the survival of the human race, such as alien races or alternate realities. In order to protect them, Anton believes the best option is to help humans reach their full genetic potential, with bionic implants to help the boost past their human limits. Unfortunately, he hasn't yet perfected the technique, and human test subjects have been less than forthcoming. So if he must sully his name to protect the human race, so be it. He will become a villain.

Name: Hramn von Astrakhan

Abilities(If any):
Miasma manipulation; Hramn can generate, manipulate, and turn his own body to a thick black fog that's both highly toxic and combustible . Target that inhale the gas will be paralyzed and experience medium to high level of pain depending on how much he take within few minutes but only truly losing consciousness after the total organ failure that will happen exactly 5 hours after the first contact without a very specific antidote. The combustible effect only occur when the miasma touch an actual fire (not just spark), on extreme heat, or another explosion.

Poison immunity; Hramn body are engineered to be tolerant to most of known poison, enabling him to survive even with the most lethal one coursing on his veins. This doesn't mean that he won't experience any side effect beside death, but he will be spared from the worst. It's worth noting that since he's also using a specially designed respirator, all of the air-based poison won't take effect, including his own.

Enhanced martial art combat; Hramn was trained intensively by his master, who also called some of the expert in various martial art style as well. Thanks to this, he's really proficient when it comes to hand-to-hand combat, and able to outright kill a person with his fists alone. Though often he's only using this skill to buy time for his miasma to take effect.

Bio: Hramn's life story isn't exactly the prettiest one to be told. He was born and raised in the Russian military base as a test subject for their newest bio-chemical weapon project, and unfortunately, Hramn was the top subject. This means that he need to get through a lot of test and modification. They alter his young body to one's of a freak, often operate him and inject or put something on him with whatever their crazy mad scientist mind want, whenever they feel need to. They even broke his mouth and nose and put a respirator on it so that he won't choke on his own ability. But the worst part of it is that they don't care about his psyche, often treating him badly and roughly and put him in a pure white cell when they are not using him. Hramn is nothing but a guinea pig to them, and one that disposable.

Ironically the one who saved him from this hell on earth isn't some of caped crusader or goody two-shoes heroes, but instead a German super-villain that massacre the facility just to steal some research documents. While exploring the base to find what he wants, he stumbled on Hramn, broken in spirit and filled with so much potential. So like any good super-villain does, he took him from there with every intention to make Hramn his sidekick. But after taking care all the damage that was inflicted to Hramn during his time in the base (and manipulating him to be ever loyal to him), he gets little parental over him. So he gives Hramn a new name (the old name is just bunch of number and the German man just call him with first three number before) and send him to Academy, in hopes that he'll study something there and become a proper, successful villain.

Personality: Hramn is a quiet, loyal, tolerant, flexible, efficient, and observant person, or what the super-villain often consider, the perfect henchmen. Shouldn't come as surprise considering who's tutoring him when his psyche was still a broken white paper. He does however have some other personality that is more humane than just what henchmen job's requirement need. He easy to be flustered over things that induce such high emotions, like happiness or anger, even though Hramn's patient limit is quite high. He's also shy when introduced to new person or environment. But given enough time to be comfortable with the surrounding area and people, he can be quite a sarcastic and witty kid.

Abilities(If any): Necromancy, but not any of the super strong stuff. Can resurrect the dead and sense oncoming death. Becomes enraged if he withstands too much physical pain. Has one intelligent zombie summon, the Archduke Franz Ferdinand. Doesn't lust for brains.

Bio: When Nikolai was seven years old, he was struck with a vision of him killing someone while he was still in school. Of course, the sense wasn't a lie. When he left school to walk home, he was attacked by this kid and his friends, typical bullies. As they were punching and kicking him, Nikolai, who was usually a pussy, had a switch turned on inside him, and he mauled the kids, using the various tools he had in his backpack to slaughter them. When he was out of his murderous stance, he came to realize that there were these three dead people in front of him.

By this time, the police was en route to his location. When he was confronted by the police and his parents, he started crying. And right then, he managed to resurrect the three bullies, albeit mindless zombies controlled by him, in an effort to make everything right. Of course, it wasn't right, the police and his parents were scared shitless and Nikolai was "bribed" out of serving his sentence by his powerful father.

After this, his mom and him moved to Kiev to flee from the angry Russian security while his father remained in St. Petersburg to sort things out. Nikolai understandably became a recluse and had one friend, a Zombie butler named "Franz Ferdinand" before being invited to the LoV, but he did grow somewhat bitter.

Personality: Nikolai is very clearly an anti-social person, but he can be kind and caring.

Bio: Marissa grew up in Portugal relativley innocent, she lived a normal life with her family and friends. When she was nine, her father got her hooked to playing video games on the computer, where she began hacking to get an advantage over the other players. One of these games was a simulation game called NationStates. She was able to write scripts and DDoS the whole gaming server very easily, with no security being able to stop her. Her parents did become aware of her illict behaviors, but largely ignored it. In high school, she was invited to join a "Computer Club" which turned out to be a bunch of whistle-blowing hackers. In cooperation with Edward Snowden, the club helped reveal the NSA's tendency of spying on United States citizens, brought down the Portuguese government (and bailed out by one of her classmate's rich fathers), and added a downloadable virus.exe on Google's page. She is fluent in many global languages. Eventually, her actions got the attention of the academy, which she accepted.

Personality: Marissa is a nice, kind girl. She is somewhat social but very shy towards romantic advances. She spends a large portion of her time on the computer, whether it is hacking, playing games, browsing social media, or viewing the news.

Bio: Coilin was born in Oslo to a single mother, named Aileen, who was the heiress to a large, yet still modest (It's still Ireland, after all) family fortune. She would have been completely disinherited for having Coilin, if it wasn't for the fact that her father died on the same day that the child was born, and she had kept her pregnancy a secret due to being at university in Norway. She came home to Dublin a year later, a young yet quiet Coilin on her arm and a business degree in her pocket. Sadly, by the time she got there, it would seem her younger brothers and sisters had already blown the family fortune, their shares and hers (which they got through some legal BS) on partying and drugs. She spent the next few years, a decade and a half to be specific, building a rather small-yet-recognizable 'family-owned' grocery store empire.... that served as a front for her gun and drug smuggling empire. She single-handedly created herself the first Irish crime family that controlled much of Ireland. During this time, Coilin was growing up under the tutelage of a constantly drunk nanny and his less-than-happy-about-being-thrown-out-of-the-family-business uncles and aunts. At age five, he was crippled by 'falling' out of a tree, and has had to be constrained to a wheelchair for the rest of his life. Needless to say, Coilin was a sheltered boy, that read a lot, and only had social interaction when he went to his preppy private school. A few years ago, at age twelve, Coilin discovered that he was 'gifted', meaning he figured out he was a freak that could read people's minds, lift things without touching them, and never got lost. When the rest of the school found out a year later, Coilin's mother pulled him out of the school. She knew she had to clear this up, but didn't know how. Coilin suggested a 'hijacked' plane crash into the school in an unfortunate accident, and that any students that happened to not be there be... the poor victims of a psychopathic maniac whose master was 'Fate'. The story of the Doherty Dublin Private School Crash and the 'Fated Death' killer quickly drowned out any story about a cripple that could supposedly push someone away with their mind. Seeing her son was going to obviously go into the new family business, and certainly expand it, Aileen decided that he would need a... different kind of school. Hearing through the black, gnarled grapevine about a school for up-and-coming villains, she knew immediately where Coilin had to go...

Personality: Warm and charismatic on the outside, with perhaps a bit of an irritating snarkiness about him, but when angered he turns cold, calculating, and almost certainly psychopathic.

She mainly uses her ability to wield swords and other weapons without touching them. This way she can wield up to three weapons with her mind while simultaneously fighting with a weapon in her hands.

Bio:

Zuri was born in a typical middle class family. Her parents were neither poor nor especially wealthy and Zuris life started just like any other girls life would start. She first found out about her telekinetic powers when she was 6 years old. Suddenly no shelf was high enough to keep the cookies out of her range. It took her parents quite some time to find out how she always got them. When they eventually found it out they were, naturally, quite shocked and did not know what to do with the situation. Her mother was mostly scared by her daughters supernatural ability, but her father was fascinated by them and actively encouraged her to practice her power. In the end it was probably irrelevant what they told her since even at her young age she was already determined to further use her power. But her parents made sure to teach her to not use her powers in public or people could be scared of her.

A year later she developed another unusual trait. While watching a move with her father she saw two knights fighting with swords. From this moment on she was obsessed with swords. She started fighting with sticks against the boys in her neighborhood and soon nobody of her opponents dared to challenge her unless he had a few friends to back him up. Her mother hoped that this was just a phase but as time progressed Zuris love for swords seemed to not fade away but to become greater by the day. Soon her room was filled with wooden swords, shields and axes. When she turned 12 her father signed her up for a sword fighting class. It was one of the greatest things of her life, apart from her telekinesis ability of course. She quickly excelled at this class and impressed even her teachers with her quick learning and natural instincts. It was just a matter of time until she had the idea to combine her two skills and started to try wielding a sword with her mind. Her first attempts resulted in merely throwing her wooden blade around. But soon she was able to fight using only her telekinetic abilities. And as time progressed and her wooden swords got replaced with real ones, a fact her mother was not very happy about, her ability grew stronger and stronger.

When she was 16 her parents died in a car accident. Their car got hit by another car driven by some young rich boy. And because his family was very influential he only had to pay a fine and lost his drivers license. But Zuri felt like this was not enough punishment so she decided to make him pay by herself. She found out where he lived and broke into his house while he slept. She woke him up by ramming one of his kitchen knives into his leg. After he was awake she told him who she was and what would happen to him now. When the police turned up at his house there was not much left of him. They never found out who killed him. While they found a large number of bloody knives it seamed like nobody touched them. Almost as if the magically decided to stab the young man to death.

Zuri had to move to his uncles house and live under his roof. But they rarely saw Zuri since she was very rarely at home. Since she murdered this guy she seamed like she lost all respect for the law. She joined a criminal gang and was involved in some serious crimes when she was only 17. A few days after she turned 18 she got some strange massages by some kind of school for persons with special talents. So she decided to check this place out and found herself in a plane to said school a few days later.

Personality: Zuri is a very cheerful person. Most of the time she seams just like a normal girl. She loves to talk about swords and stuff like that, has a sometimes strange sense of humor and for the most part she just wants to have fun. Only if someone stands in her way, or she just don't likes a person, she turns into a gruesome and merciless killer. She actually enjoys to hurt her enemies. A lot. She also has a problem with authority and hates having to follow orders.

Bio:

Maria remembers little of his early childhood in Craiova, save that his family was small yet happy. His parents were fairly affluent, being remnants of the old Boyar families, or Wallachian nobility, that survived the communist regime. Even when he was born, strange events were reported in his general vicinity. The other babies in that part of the hospital kept crying for no reason (though they do that anyway), and patients in other wings kept reporting waking dreams and vivid nightmares. Some so potent they didn't wake up.

As a small child, Maria soon became accused as the source of various troubles, some more superstitious neighbouring families spreading rumours and accusations of demonic influence or possession. Even his parents were affected by these dreams and nightmares, though they usually explained them away as being caused by other things. For a time, things were tolerable, but then they took a turn for the worse. People began going missing in the neighbourhood, and sightings of strange creatures at night began circulating throughout the area, as did hearsay about "phantom" vehicles and disappearing doorways in the nearby houses. Occasionally, bodies were found, some untouched yet mysteriously robbed of life, others eviscerated and mutilated, as if by a monster from a nightmare, with no known wild animal doing the sort of barbaric damage done to them.

His parents inevitably fell victim to these strange happenings, and a fire broke out in their house. Left abruptly bereft of parents, he was taken to an orphanage. The orphanage was known as the Văcărescu Orphanage, and, being too young to divulge his original name, with his parents dead, and the documentation regarding him missing or destroyed, he was given the institution's name. Even at that stage, he was mistaken for a girl, and given the name Maria. It soon became apparent that he wasn't, but the name stuck.

Maria then fell under the ambitions of a certain organisation, who had managed to narrow down the culprits for these odd happenings. The orphanage in question was under their control, and was used as an official front for their experimentation, indoctrination and slavery of children with special abilities, probably established during the dictatorship of Nicolae Ceaușescu. Seeking to learn the exact nature, capabilities and extent of his power, and use that for their own gain, they experimented on him. Having many unsavoury individuals within their ranks, some, occasionally using thinly veiled excuses, like "ensuring his obedience," and "strengthening him" turned to torture and abuse. He seemed to heal from physical damage after a time, so they could go further.

Mental damage, on the other hand, only seemed to make his psychic ability to manipulate and manifest dreams and nightmares more potent and frequent, elements of his injured subconscious manifesting in the real world. One of these, officially a "caretaker," at the orphanage, a sadistic individual with pedophilic tendencies, even turned to rape. Years passed, and somewhere along the way, he seemed have stopped aging. His nightmares had been used to kill enemies of the organisation, and a gateway between one of his dream realms and the physical world was used to obtain energy from there, which could be used to power all manner of things.

The group's leader turned out to be Anastasia, who further ensured his cooperation with them by not particularly subtle means. Manifesting nightmares, killing others in their sleep, stealing their dreams, and channeling psychic energy for various purposes, was accentuated by some training in combat with physical weapons, though he was physically weak and not particular durable, even if rather agile. At some point he "graduated" and was forcefully sterilised, being essentially strapped down and surgically "altered" without anaesthetics. In the latest operation, Anastasia's organisation/group attacked the academy to get some recruits, and Maria was one of the assassins that remained behind at the base in Siberia to await their coming, watch over them, and wait for further orders. Having been subject to all sorts of indoctrination and unfortunate treatment for years, freedom and rebellion are concepts that haven't crossed his mind for a long time. Of course, that may change...

Personality: Quiet and not exactly what one would call socially adept, Maria often seems to be a mix of emotionless and shy. It doesn't take much to embarrass him. He also happens to have no qualms when it comes to witnessing or being involved in death and bloodshed, never having been taught the common concept of morality. Despite this, there is an odd, childlike innocence and naivety in other ways, that fits his appearance, despite his protests towards those who mistake him for a young girl. His name doesn't help dispel that illusion, either. He also shows a fondness for sweets, cute things and games, which further corroborates that persona. He can seem quiet and overly serious about various things, though he does have a sense of humour. Generally focused and diligent, he can perhaps be a bit overly obedient and submissive towards others, in particular those who seem to have authority or have a "commanding" personality. Obviously a bit troubled, and fears failing to obey commands and complete tasks given to him. Also has some other fears, considering his backstory.
