A few things.

1) Hair dye is unlikely to be viable 27 years down the road as it would degrade if not kept in pristine conditions, and even then a few years would ruin it (I checked). Not sure about the lipstick.

2) The same with pepper spray. The aerosol can would have degraded to the point of uselessness.

3) Without electricity, on top of 27 years, a cellphone and tablet would probably not be functional even if you could power them on. And even if they did work, they would be little more than a glowing paperweight that would die again soon thereafter (as not ever place has a convenient outlet).

4) If you have firearms then also keep track of how much ammo you have.

5) Bio should have a lot more to it. It's too lines right now. Expand into her history and possibly why she's in California now.

Bio: Wayne was 13 by the time the terror of the outbreak truly began to sweep across the world. His family had somewhat recently moved to Colorado Springs where the youngest of his brothers Jackson was born. In the five years that they lived here before the outbreak Wayne's father, David Bodner taught his sons how to hunt and fish in the areas around Colorado Springs. Wayne was a natural at both and exceedingly calm and collected for a 13 year old boy.

In the chaos and terror of the outbreak the Bodners and their neighbors and friends the Guttersons banded together with groups of other survivors as the government quickly disintegrated around them. Both wives succumbed to the infection and while David Bodner carried on for the group, Maxwell Gutterson fell into a deep depression and took his own life. Soon after the Bodner's middle child Desmond was torn apart by infected. David decided that the city centers of Colorado were no longer safe and together Wayne, David, Jackson, and Isaac Gutterson made their way to the mountains. Here they hunted and lived off the grid as much as possible while what was left of the world seemed to crumble. Eventually, the group ran into other friendly survivors and in passing, and learned of how the area of Grand Junction had come to thrive as somewhat of a safe haven. Together they traveled to grand Junction where they made a living as traders scavengers and primarily hunters. This continued for approximately twenty odd years until David died of a cold during one of the cold winters. At this point Wayne became the leader of the group as a man in his 30's

Wayne, Jackson and Isaac lived as comfortable as on could as decent hunters and scavengers operating mainly out of Grand Junction. Just prior to the settlement's destruction by the Vultures the trio had embarked on a scavenging run which saved them from dying with most of the populace. As the Vultures descended upon settlement after settlement in Colorado. Wayne kept his group ahead of the destruction, and eventually to Ranton, New Mexico where together they waited out the winter and Vulture raids.

Raton and Walsenberg are good places I'd think. Salida is a little preoccupied and you'd probably get shot. There's also a couple guys camping out in Hartsel and another wandering along the highways. Probably depends on what you're looking for. The people in Raton are about to start an expedition while Walsenberg is striving to become a settlement of reasonable power. Everyone else is on the road to somewhere else.

Bio: Isaac was one of Wayne's first friends when the Bodners moved to Colorado springs. Born in Aspen, and having lived his whole life in Colorado Isaac is quite familiar with the terrain and region from both before and after the outbreak. While Wayne went hunting with his father, Isaac went skiing in the spring and winter, and rock climbing in the summer. Isaac is a very skilled climber and even before the outbreak had won the state competition for his age group. After the outbreak, however, Isaac changed dramatically. His siblings, and parents all quickly fell to either the virus or the infected. Even though David Bodner took him in as his own son Isaac became quite angry and rash. Only his friend Wayne ever seemed to be able to calm him. While this has led to some brash action and trouble over the years Isaac's skills and strength have helped the group significantly.

Bio: Wayne's younger brother and the youngest of the Bodner siblings. Jackson was born soon after the Bodners moved to Colorado springs. When the outbreak began Jackson was only 5. Jackson only barely remembers life before the outbreak and while this has given him an edge in surviving in a post apocalyptic world (the only one he really knows) it leaves some of his people skills lacking. Jackson is usually very quiet and quite good at sneaking around human and infected alike. He is practical and efficient. Once his father David escorted their group to Grand Junction Jackson took it upon himself to learn basic first aid. Over the years his knowledge gained from experience and the various people they have met along the way has become invaluable.
