Also, the sniper is working with the Dominion, I take it?

Yes, and the Sniper is disposable. Anyone unnamed tends to be disposable.

I actually expect this to fail, but if Wallie actually decides to take the bait and kill his Veronica, then the effect is roughly the same.

It's more to kickstart interactions between the Dominion and PCs. Gives you sort of an idea of what y'all will be dealing with.

Besides, most interactions will be with Dominion agents, rather than Jen herself. Wouldn't make much sense for a villain I'm trying to make smart and to-the-point to put herself in harms way.

Fair enough then. I just left it with Locust turning round cause anymore and it would have stepped into whether or not Ver is dead or not.

And yeah, most interactions with Dominion agents makes sense from a logical point of view and a logistical point of view. Cover more of just about everywhere using agents rather than having Jen hunt down everyone herself.

Also, I sort of imagine that Locust would be known by name through the Dominion due to him being a pain in the ass from since the Dominion was called the Vultures. I mean, pulling off one man raids on smaller groups for both supplies and the fun of it would get the name around. That and any survivors would have been able to give an idea of what he looks like (well, as much as you can get about a man who wears masks).

It's rare for the Villain to not be the butt-monkey to the heroes.

This (should) be one of those instances.

I can see that. He'd certainly be up there on the list of wanted folks. Along with Mackenzie, Cain, Tommy, Thomas, and the vast majority of people that Jen wasn't fond of during the first act.

Yeah, except he hasn't had a direct interaction with most people and nobody has much of an idea of what his face looks like. So removing his mask would make him less likely to get sighted by agents or whatever... But that's if he ever wanted to be without his face, so that's unlikely. He's a strange character.

Probably. She wouldn't have issues with a good chunk of the main cast.

Not that that would afford then any kind of mercy if it came down to it, and knowing how bombastic someone like Hugh's morality can be, it would only be a matter of time.

Curious, but what's Jen's take on Mercer, Sera, and the other Aspenites? In terms of influence, they pretty much had nothing in terms of regional power.

She had very little contact with them, honestly. Like, almost none. Ergo, they'd probably be just mooks to her.

Her only real connection from Aspen were the people on the expedition.

That said, would she still kill them for getting in her way? Probably.

Essentially. Most people under her command keep their mouths shut to avoid having themselves, or their families, skinned alive.

Mercer doesn't know Jen really but would probably speak out against the Vultures in general, but changing Colorado for the better isn't on his to-do list. Not too sure how Sera would react. Usually she'd not care too much about the grander scheme of things, but she knows Jen and, considering the Vultures are the reason for her life going down the drain, she might actually be more vocal. Only time will tell.

Indeed. We're still only just starting out, and it looks like the start is going to be a little slow to start. That said, we did make it to 60 pages on the first thread, then 40 on NML, so yeah.

I genuinely hope that this continuation will work out. I'm really enjoying the whole "being the bad guy" thing.

Well, all of my characters tend to have crapsack lives, usually culminating in a downer ending.

NML is not the exception. No one survived Salida unscathed.

I mean, Locust was already mentally broken from isolation. So due to his already destroyed mental state, what happened at Salida barely mentally affected him. Physically it gave him a limp due to having to run on a leg that had been shot, and no real medical help to fix him.

Name:Orfah Kaeri
Birthplace:Some small unknown village called "Illeri" in East California
Ethnicity:Has Japanese, Malaysian and Arab ancestors, basically 1/4 Arab 1/4 Japanese 1/2 Malaysian

Cellphone
Lipstick
Pepper spray
Pen
Small notebook
Immunity:
Full
Personality:
She has a strong will to finish and solve everything by peaceful means. She loves to flirt with men of various ages, she is willing to fight, if insisted on her, or for her own safety(but tries to avoid fighting, anyways).
Usually seen wearing long sleeved shirts, leather jackets amd long ripped jeans.
Skills:
Rather skilled in singing, whistling, flirting, kissing, carrying large pieces of wood or metal.
Likes:
Pink, roses, love, peace, integrity, willingness, survival, loudness
Dislikes:
People fighting, dividedness, uselessness, quietness
Fears:
Almost nothing(except war, spiders, and the dark)
Bio:
Losing her parents to a virus was no easy feat for her, so she became willing to end this whole suffering of the world. Despite the strange environment she grew up in, she never gave up hope and is willing to solve all the problems of the world, if she could.
RP Examples:
"Hello. I am Orfah, I have been searching for you since, last week." She said to the little boy who was crying for his mom. He is a perfect match to the picture that the woman gave her.
"Come to me, I will give you your mom." She said as she carressed the little toddler, about 5 years old.
The toddler's little hands held firmly on her shoulder as Orfah walks over what used to be paved roads in the small village.
Far enough, a thin, tired woman wearing a long dress was standing a few metres away. Orfah hurried and as she approaches the woman, hands her the toddler, before she trips over one small piece of wood. She tries to stand up helplessly. Sheer luck of wearing shorts today, a large sharp object ended up scraping her left leg, causing a large incision that was noticeably deep red. The other woman hands Orfah a piece of cloth she was holding, so as to help her pressure the wound. Aftera long while of tying the cloth, she was set and ready for a new adventure for the day.

Argh, trawling through the RP.
While she had no regrets about throwing the lever to douse her husband's mistress in molten gold, Blanche did feel a pang of conscience for the innocent bystanders whose proximity had caused them to suffer gilt by association.
