First time I missed three days because apparently her work didn't want her using her break to drop me off even though it was fine the other times, missing two more days now because of a vacation she dragged us all on (all my vacation days were sucked up the first time, so I shouldn't even be missing this), and she wants the hours knocked back because she "doesn't like driving that much."

PLAYER-RUN STORIES

It's almost time! Once we get the Building established, you'll all have the chance to do your own thing. This means that time in Galli will move at the same pace, but your stories take place on the other side of Gates... move at your own pace for those.

Questions:

Q. CAN I NPC MYRA TO GET STUFF GOING?
A. Yes, you can NPC Myra. She can lock in coordinates. She can track characters while they're on the other side. She can feed basic information. She can NOT go through the gate. Please do NOT run Dweezle. All he would do is occupy a corner.

Q. CAN I RUN A STORY IN GALLI?
A. If it's contained to just the Building? Yes. If it's contained to just the Building and village? Yes, within reason. Don't expect to gain magical items out of the blue just because some NPC you invented conveniently has them in a cart. Do not do anything that would require the OP or a CoOP to get involved (invading the village, destroying parts of the village, harming villagers).

Q. CAN I RUN STORIES OUTSIDE OF THE VILLAGE?
A. I have no intention of spending much time running stories in PL until late August. It's my vacation of sorts. In order for you to run a story in an area we haven't visited yet, you'll need me to describe it. I'd rather not. Please, just find something else to do IC until the autumn. (I'll continue to run my characters if they're on missions or in Gio's story. I just don't plan on unparking any parked ones.)

Q. CAN I RUN STORIES OUTSIDE OF THE VILLAGE IF TILT AND MIN ARE IN ON IT?
A. Yep, depending on their own schedules. Min's got the Fae covered, for example, so he might be up to guiding you OOC regarding what you'll find IC. Keep in mind that he's part of our IAPA staff, so he'd have to split his time between there and here, too. It's his call.

Q. CAN WE GO BACK TO BIELEFELD/HOME DIMENSION?
A. No. The reason for that will come out this autumn/winter. Muahahahaha.

Q. ARE THE OP AND COOPS AVAILABLE IF I HAVE GM QUESTIONS OR GET STUCK?

Q. WHO HAS STORIES PLANNED?
A. Torsi has been kicking around some good ideas. Slo has a few ideas. You'll have to ask them what they have planned. If you have a story planned, voice up!

Q. I WANT TO SHOW OTHER CHARACTERS MY CHARACTER'S HOME. IS THAT OKAY?
A. Yes and no. We're trying to avoid our last dimension of origin (Bielefeld). So for some characters (Bran and Torsi's), going "home" means they'll be in the same dimension where our old story is taking place. That story ties into the final arc, and we'd like to avoid the setting for now.

Q. CAN I-
A. Look, it's rather easy. Leave Galli intact and as it is. It's not supposed to be the main gaming place. The GATES are the focus. You can do whatever you want in them. Want to take over Spain and become Queen? Sure. It's an alternate dimension. Want to eat all the souls? Sure. It's an alternate dimension. Want to go on a quest to find weapons? Sure, but use your common sense! For that matter... everything you do might have consequences down the line. That's life.

For people's info, I'll also be taking a break from PL to concentrate on coding and job-hunting. As Swith says, feel free to give me a poke if you'd like to run a story out of the Village or have any questions.

The same here. Between the upcoming IAPA, 'Dancer (yes it's still going!), and my current schedule, time will be fairly split apart. You're all free to contact me via TG, the OOC, or IRC (if I'm there, I tend to be away a lot) for any questions or concerns. I highly doubt anyone will venture into the Fae area, but if anyone does, please contact me.

All in all, my characters will be semi-parked in anticipation for IAPA. They'll be used for Admin/plot advancement if entirely needed.

I got, like, a lot of shit planned out, mostly war shit, like some dank-ass WWI ghostly shit and some WWII shit, but with catgirls and anime, and then some more WWII shit, and all sorts of shit that'd make Clint Eastwood shed a manly tear, because I got a lot of shit.

That said, I look forward to it all.

I would be interested in IAPA, but my nation is a military dictatorship that thrives off of genocide and occult experiments with Nazi origins, so not exactly on the "good guy" list of nations that take part in alliances and organizations. That said, I do have one or two puppets that would fit, that I'd not mind getting some fresh air, should I not flex Torsiedelle a bit.

With genocidal compassionate Nifid as one of the founders, it's obvious that the IAPA is populated by total do-gooders.

I wouldn't mind, Swith. I might try multiple stories. WWII is my niche, but I do LOVE fantasy, and I can manage sci-fi, I bet.

I wouldn't mind running a mission/adventure one of these days actually, I imagine I could come up with something probably involving Romy.

I've had a few ideas but most are a bit silly, though my time in ireland gave me another character idea lol. this is while I'm still working on one for when I get back XD

the story ideas would be one involving that characters, or going to the fallout universe to recover tech, or similar in star wars. tons of options in star wars universe(s) to find interesting locations and characters.

It's fine. The "building post" won't be ready until tomorrow night or Sunday morning.

I personally do have an idea pertaining to a sf book, along with a general interest in possibly running something Discworld-related.

Former would probably involve grabbing tech, possibly (newly) old tech; grabbing a random oc for transport to the xeno jungles could also work. A Chaos cultist able to use their powers either in Bielefeld or the destination universe would probably be needed; really good antigrav might do. Basically, not a class m planet.

But I may also be in anticipation for IAPA, so I have no idea if I should involve Macy yet.

Sorry I have been breaking promises lately (a big sorry to you Torsi). It has just been not a good time for me at all. Things have been going to shit in the world and I feel like I have a target on my back and nobody is there to protect me. With the shootings over here and across the pond, I have felt on edge almost everyday. Nicotine and anti-depressants help keep me normal, but sometimes the fear and anxiety is overwhelming (which is going on even as I post this). Not to mention that my grandmother and uncle are visiting, bring a whole wave of dysphoria and anxiety with it. All the misgendering, racism, politics, and Catholicism has been making me irritated and anxious to the extreme even on a nicotine buzz. I feel more alone than I've ever felt before.

So yeah, I've haven't posted and I don't know when I'll post. I feel bad for not doing so, especially with all the stories yinz are coming up with. But at the same time, I can't put my fingers to the keyboard and write. My mood isn't there, the excitement isn't there. I've been too distracted by everything else to try.

So, I guess I'll be taking a hiatus from RPing for a while. I don't know how long that'll be. There are things IRL that I feel I need to do before I feel more stable and safe. Maybe then I'll be able to come back and post. Sorry if that messed some things up RP-wise. But I feel like I'll mess things up more if I try and force myself to do it than do it because I desire to.
