PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Character Name: Tora Anastiya Dimitrov

Character Gender: Female

Species (nation personification, human, alien, etc): Human

Age: 19

Appearance: Tora is small and lithe. Her height is about 5’6”, weight 120 lbs, with pale skin, white-blonde hair, and light blue eyes. She almost always wears a simple outfit of ragged leather boots, daisy duke shorts, and a white tanktop. She often has lightly darkened circles under her eyes from lack of sleep, and very light, almost unnoticeable light, straight scars along the inside of her left arm. Well shaven, untoned, but strong, and often fidgety in movement. She gives off and aura of casualness, though not all there at any time.

Primary Objective: (What is your character's main goal? This should be the thing that drives their part of the plot.) To keep the building safe for her friends. Despite what she's said, or how she's acted, Torii has a strong desire to prove herself, and to help others. She wants to let them live without a care, unlike how she grew up, and her charisma, persistence, and occasional bratty-ness will help her.

Secondary Objectives: (What other goals does your character intend to achieve? These should drive subplots.) To achieve success as a scientist. Torii enjoys experimentation and working with technology, but has no real qualifications to do so. She has happily become an intern for the raptors, as they provide her an opportunity to do what she normally couldn't. She also wants to become immortal, something she believes can be achieved not with the help some some god, but with science.

BACKGROUND
Education or Training: No formal education, guerilla training, self-taught, interning
Character Background/Biography: Torii was born on September 27th, 1996 to Peter and Lilya Dimitrov, in Elista, Kalmykia Oblast, Torsiedelle. She was born at a very rough time for her family, when her parents had been engaged in arguments and fighting nonstop over her, much to the misfortune of their first child, Katya. During her infancy, Torii's parents drifted apart and divorced, with her father taking Torii back to Kalmykia with him.

Before she could go to school and have a normal life, the Torsiedellie Civil War broke out. Torii was taken in the middle of the conflict, and spent several years under the watch of rebels. When she was considered old enough, she was handed a weapon and made to kill against her will. This experience crippled her emotionally and mentally, and even as an adult Torii has immense difficulty adapting to a nornal life.

When the Civil War came to its end, Torii was not sent back home right away. She spent her adolescence and teenage years under government care in a camp for other children who had been taken by the war, a re-education and rehabilitation camp, where she faced frequent cases of bullying and abused. During this time, Torii passed her time mostly by reading and absorbing what she could; the Quran, The Tale of Genji, Marx and Engels, World History, Hamlet, whatever fancied her, she read, and this lead to her love of learning. This helped her tolerate life in those terrible places, and would arm her later in her life with essential knowledge.

By the time the camps were reevaluated and shut down by the new government at the turn of the decade, Torii had already moved out, turning sixteen.

At age sixteen, Torii moved from Torsiedelle to Western Europe. In the city of Vaffleheim, Torii had extreme difficulty adapting, but she happened to make her first friend with a strange foreign girl named Tsu. This was after being teleported to a strange island by the nonhuman, where she was subsequently introduced to a number of strange people, including sentient raptors, demons, a quirky Eastern European man, and even the daughter of Satan, who would go on to become her first girlfriend. Within the next few months, she had an unexpected reunion with her big sister, who she had never met for more than five minutes before. She’d made a number of new friends, who she would end up keeping for years to come, and came out of her shell as a young woman. Almost four years later, Torii still had much to see and learn, but in that short time, she had experienced so much that she never could have imagined in her old life, and formed such a close bond to those around her that she couldn’t imagine herself anywhere else in the world, or the entire universe.

Brief Description: Torii is a tomboy. She’s not masculine or bitchy or dirty, but she IS a tomboy, and the more outgoing and aggressive of the two Dimitrov sisters. She has a quick temper and is quick to become emotional or distressed, but she has a heart of gold and is an extremely loyal friend to the few she truly considers to be friends. Despite her being a skilled and determined fighter, she has a deep love of science and technology, and yearns to pursue a life as an inventor. She’s really just a misunderstood young woman who was a product of poor upbringing and circumstance, and who always seeks to better herself.
