The Balled of the End (IC)

Postby Camelone » Mon Jan 25, 2016 8:09 pm

A dark mist hung over the land giving everything a sickly shade of darkness, screams both normal and demonically warped echoed throughout everything drowning out any coherent thought that one could have. Standing in the center of it all was a group of people, their shapes were obscure and each one looked as bewildered as the next as they tried to make out the constantly shifting shapes that circled them and the people beside them. Suddenly all the movement and screams just stopped and a eerie silence began, the mist remained and seemed to grow ever thinker, beginning to choke the members of the group. Suddenly dark blood red eyes appeared before them, seemingly as large as the sun, and a bone rattling laughter raged. Advancing forward as if to swallow them all with that same rattling laughter.

Gasping for breath Crogacht sat up frantically patting himself to see if he was all there and heard a merry laughter from beside him. Sitting on a little stone just outside the Fuascailte holy site the Tender laughed "It seems the Blind Bard was trying to warn you of something my friend, Scath is growing more powerful everyday and the others should be here soon."

"Others? The Blind Bard did not tell me of any others." Crogacht said sitting up even more looking at the Tender with confusion etched on his face.

With a smile the Tender said "All in good tell my friend, the others should be here by today. Patience is a virtue worth cultivating." Lifting his flute up to his lips he began to softly play, the melody rolled over the plains and through the forests effortlessly, a song that seemingly called those that the Blind Bard choose to the correct destination.

The fate of the world was in the hands of a group of strangers who have yet to even meet each other and yet they are to save the world from the greatest evil to plague Cre... It is because of this many of the Immortals view the Blind Bard as insane but unknown to them it is through this unlikely crew of misfits and exiles that Scath will be held at bay. All that remains is for the mantle to be picked up.

Commander Varik Carta
Ralis-Crotwana front, 2 months ago

The slaming if rock against the ground and the shaking of the impact. The war had only started the week before and they were siegeing the outpost that would grant them access to southern Crotwana. The war had started over a dispute over who owned the land in southern Crotwana. "Commander, get our catapults ready I want to breach that outpost in our hands by nightfall." Barked the General, it was ironic the Emperor had sent Commander of the Royal Guard to assist with taking this outpost and this general believed he could give him orders. Varik continued to look over the battle plan and found several flaws. The first being the method of taking the outpost, they were going to destroy the walls. When most outposts usually had a backway in that didn't involve destroy the only thing protecting a garrison in the outpost. The second was the fact that they probably had high moral fighting on their land and that would need to be crushed.

The general started barking at Varik once again, but Varik ignored it and looked up at the general. "General Vestrom, wither you know it or not, I am the Commander of the Emperor's Guard and therefore I outrank you and you will show me some respect. Now General, your plan has several flaws the largest one is not weakening the defender moral. We should be launching fire balls over that damn wall and burning the buildings we can on the inside so we don't have to repair the law later. Captain, tell the catapults to launching flaming ammunition over the wall and send our fast riders out to search for another entrance to the outpost. If we don't have to destroy the wall I would rather not destroy it. So General, you will not deviate from this new plan or I will have your personally stripped of command." Informed Varik as he gave a icy glare at the General as the captain went off to dispatch the orders when a messenger ran into the tent.

"Commander Varik, your presence is requested at the capital right away! The Emperor himself requests that you report at once and he says its very urgent and it will be for your ears only." Informed The messenger as he fell to his knees after riding hard for a week to reach the camp and that riding hard and stopping every once in awhile to rest the horse. Varik took the message and read it over and saw the messenger was right. He hadn't seen the capital since the army marched to this damned outpost in the swamp, where there had been deaths on both sides already.

"You will stay here and return to the capital once the general follows my plan to the letter, is that understood?" Asked Varik as he gave a smaller copy of his plan to the messenger and left the tent. He had his horse prepped a hour later and started his ride to the capital.

7 weeks before current events

Varik had just arrived at the capital and it was late in the evening, he knew the Emperor wouldn't see him til the following morning as he rode into the castle. Many of the people looked in awe as he rode past them and once he reached the palace he gave his horse to the stable boy with instructions to let his horse rest and make sure he was fed and watered. He walked into the castle and was greeted by a servant who took his bags up to his room and offered to bring dinner to his room. Varik agreed and walked up to his room was greeted by a pleasant surprise. Sera was in his room and practically pounced on him when he entered the room. "Sera! What are you doing here, I didn't think you knew I was going to be back!" Chuckled Varik as he returned the hug and she kissed him.

"I was surprised my father sent you away to help fight in the war and I feared you would never come back. But I guess if your back then you must be doing something for my father or going on some kind of mission." Informed Sera as she let her hands wonder before stepping back, the sun had finally set and the servants were now preparing to go to sleep themselves.

Early the next morning

"You have no idea how long I waited for that," chuckled Sera as she sat up and covered herself with a blanket and walked over to her dress. She would have to get going now, while the servants were still asleep and her maid wouldn't check in on her. After a few minutes of getting dressed she walked back over and put the blanket back on the bed and sat down next to Varik. Where he kissed her for a time that felt like an hour but was really only a few minutes.

"Yeah, that whole night was just perfect. But I best be getting ready, I have a meeting with your father soon." Informed Varik as he too got up and got dressed, and Sera left the room to go back to her chambers. That was a night that no one could know about, or else he might be discharged or even killed if the Emperor found out. When the servant entered the room, he brought breakfast and cleaned up the room and Varik was certain to make sure that there was no evidence of Sera being there all night.

After eating, he went to the emperor, "Ah Varik good to have you back in the capital and news has just reached us that that outpost is now in our hands, but their army has set up a makeshift fort just north of that fort to hinder our progress. Though it wont be an issue, with it being wood, I am certain the general can handle it. But that isn't why I have called you here, I am sending you to the Kingdom of Amuthland. You are to establish relations with the people there and secure and alliance. If you do this and do this well, I know you have had Feelings for Sera and she feels the same and I have known it since you have been here. If you do this, then you will prove that you are the right person to be on the throne and her husband." Informed the Emperor.

"Yes Emperor, I will not fail you, I will leave at once." informed Varik as he rushed out of the throne room to prepare for his 5 week long trek across the ocean to the kingdom. As he was about to leave Sera walked up to him.

"My father told me about his agreement, I hope you come back soon and successful." Whispered Sera as she kissed him on the cheek and Varik smiled and returned the kiss. He then turned his horse and he rode off towards the City of Carstan the largest port city and the city his family was in charge of keeping order in.

Current Time

Varik smelled the fresh air as he was nearing a port city in Amuthland. He looked back at the captain of the ship, "Well Captain Cali, looks like we made it here on time and no later than you said we would arrive. I will be glad to reach land and get off this ship after not being on it for a month!" Exclaimed Varik as he saw the port grow closer and the captain laughed. The ships would remain here until his mission here was complete.

Vuk stared ahead, contemplating the island nation ahead. He had never before traveled so far out to sea, and the idea of nations on islands was new to him. it was a risk traveling out so far, where he would be out of his element. "But, risks offer rewards. Or at least adventure." he thought. "Perhaps find work. Perhaps a home. Perhaps a mate." The thought of someone who he could spend time with was truly enjoyable. Vuk had witnessed many happy marriages, among his own people as well as other races. Suddenly, the images of life with a loved one stopped. "The Voice! It's back." And so it was. The mysterious, otherworldly voice that only he heard. It had been beckoning him, following him, not pestering. but making sure he never forgot it's wish. "Find... Circle.. Travelers... Your destiny." it whispered .Vuk shook himself, silencing the voice. "In any regards, hopeful I'll find out the meaning of this voice." He thought to himself. And he lept off the ship, landing solidly on the peer.

An owl sat staring at Vuk as he walked and soon dived at him swiftly. Knocking into his head rather hard the owl moved right back up in the air and was staring at Vuk again, as if it wanted to grab his attention. Just than the voice returned to his head "Follow the owl." A simple order to which the owl began flying away leading to the countryside.

Commander Varik Carta
Some Port, Amuthland

Varik and the ship had finally docked, he had been informed a message was being sent ahead of him to inform the king of Amuthland that a envoy of Ralis was going to be appearing within a month or two and he was that envoy. He looked back at the captain, "Captain, keep the ship ready as soon as the alliance is formed, we are going to be making the trip back." Informed Varik as he walked off the ship with two other royal guard members that he had picked to accompany him on the trip. Granted they were only here to help guard the ship after all. He finally stood on solid ground and took a moment to take it all in. He had been on that boat for a month and that was not very fun to do at all. He attempted to speak to several people, but his accent made it hard for many to understand. So he went in search of a party that was sent to bring him to the palace.

Waydon, Amuthland
As the foreigner walked through the large Royal capital of Amuthland, a Regiment of Royal Guard, wearing Crimson cloth coats below Iron Chestplates, followed by a carriage, decorated with the Royal Emblem approached him. When the carriage came to a hault, the Regiment formed a line on both sides of the road, and Civilians cleared it, giving him a clear path of it, as a Royal Guard went up to the carriage door, and opened itn and out stepped His Majesty, King Edward I, soverign of Amuthland and dominions, and walked towards Varik, and spoke in a Posh, but hardy voice, with a clear accent.
"Lord Varik, I may presume?" he said, as the crown jewels made a faint clinking sounds.

Waydon, Amuthland

Vark saw as the group approached, he hadn't planed on meeting the king here. But he would have no other choice, "Ah, King Edward I, I am Commander Varik, my brother is Lord Varik. But I am here on a mission, The Ralis Empire would like to extend a olive branch and offer you and your kingdom and Alliance. After all, we are the two major powers on this side of the sea and the Emperor believes that trade would be beneficial as well. I have been given the power to negotiate fully and settle the treaty as soon as your ready." Informed Varik as he bowed to the king. Varik wasn't expecting this many guards, maybe ten, but not this many. He wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing, but he would find out sooner or later.

Waydon, Amuthland
"Trade, alliances? That sounds like a Wonderful idea, but, shall we do the main discussion at my residence, Whitehaven Palace? I came here to meet you so it wouldn't be as much of a burden on you." he said with a pleasant smile, as the commander bowed, but Edward realized that Varik felt uneasy at the presence of the Royal Guard, and spoke again.
"I only brought my finest regiment of Guards as a little protection against the common rabble, and those idiots who think Scath is returning, along with some fake deity dubbed the 'Blindbard'." he said as a Guard handed him a smoking pipe, and Edward lit it himself.

Waydon, Amuthland

"I believe that would be an appropriate place to conduct this, King Edward. Ah, I see I must admit, they rival my own men and I'm the commander of the Royal Guard for the Emperor." chuckled Varik as he started to ease up a little bit. "But why do you fear the common rabble? The Emperor is very well liked amongst the people in Ralis even though we have just started a war against Cronwana." Informed Varik as he looked amongst the people and then back at the king. "Well as you know, we Ralians have our own religion. But why would your people believes these things are happening?" Asked Varik as he was now interested in the events around this accusation.

Edward looked at Varik, and shrugged a little, causing his many golden chains and jewels to cling about and responded.
"I do not fear the commoners, they make up half of my government with parliament, I just mean, the strange bunch, thinking some fake deity ordered them to kill their King, me. Well, from my Spymaster, and main interrogator, Lord Bloodstone, reports from certain people, that they can hear this blind bard, and how he directs people on some quest, and to their 'Destiny'." he said and mocked the very name Blind bard.
"But, shall we be on our way to Whitehaven?" Edward said.

Hmm, so this place is stable after all, but this group might cause trouble. So I best be on my guard unless I want to go back to the Empire in a box. Varik was shocked the king would dress this finely in public, he was surprised that gold wasn't everywhere he walked. "Ah yes, I think that would be best." Informed Varik as he motioned for the king to enter the carriage and then he would join him. Varik knew that this might take awhile to get through these talks, but how long he didn't have an idea.

The same Royal guard who had opened the carriage door for his King had opened it once more, and the King entered it, and soon beckoned Commander Varik to enter it as well. And with a tap of the Kings cane on the top of the Carriage, they were off, to Whitehaven Palace.
Image
Whitehaven Palace, 2 miles outside of Waydon Amuthland

As the carriage entered the Palace courtyard, the granduer of the Amuthish Royal Palace could be fully witnessed. The Royal Guarss had been left behind for Patrol in the city, and were replaced by Royal Dragoons, about 2p of them. As the carriage stopped, and the door was opened Edward Stepped out, and extended his arms out, and spoke jolly like
"Welcome to Whitehaven Palace, one of the most grandest palaces in all of Cre!" he said and smiled.

Commander Varik Carta
Whitehaven Palace

Varik stepped out of the carriage and took a few moments to take in the grandeur of the whole place. "This place, rivals the Emperor's palace! I didn't think anything could even match the Emperor's Palace, but I guess I am wrong." Informed Varik as he looked at the highly crafted doors and the stone that decorated the inner walls of the courtyard. Varik wasn't sure if he was dreaming or if this place was real.

Whitehaven Palace, Amuthland
"Never were truer words spoken, Commander Varik!" Edward chuckled as he walked towards the Grand Entrance to the Palace, as two Royal servants, wearing Crimson Uniforms as well, opened the door, and bowed to their Monarch.

One of the Officers from the Royal Guard Regiment patrolled the Docks, he spotted a Lupintine Beastman. Following Royal protocol, he ran up to the beast, and shouted along the way.
"Oi! You! Beastmen, all Non-Human species, upon entering domains of the Crown of Amuthland, all must pay a Royal tax, that must be equal to 10 Royal Rothals." he said, with a Hint of disgust towards him, and shouldering his Musket.

I see fire... burning searing fire in our city as all life is reduced to ash.The glittering spires of our capital, a mixture of Elven, Dwarven, and Human engineering and art, crumbling and burning. Us the twin siblings bound together in one destiny, one purpose, cast to the ground in defeat, disgraced . The people we have sought to free cast into chains and slavery for eternity, our failure gloating us in the face. The Elefthería built by our forefathers failing in its sacred purpose, the vaer Olderen line failing in our ancient promise. And above it all laughter... laughter at our weakness as we lose all we have struggled for.

I come awake and covered in sweat underneath the tree I decided to rest under for the night in a forest. "Every time I wake up I can't help but remember what Uncle said about sleeping in armor being one of the worst ways to sleep." I grumble and sit up talking my blanket and helmet off of me. "Ah well at least it means I am always ready." After those remarks I reflect on the dream and can't help but shiver. "The mandate of vaer Olderen cannot be allowed to fail so why am I seeing its destruction?" I wonder. "The taint? The return of Scath? Something else?" I close my eyes in thought and come to simple conclusion. If it is any of those then I must not allow them to bother me anymore. "The darkness cannot possess my mind. Doulos and our atonement rituals will not allow for it." I tell myself and I reach into my bag and take out the chain to help ensure that I carry out my atonement via suffering that we all hate yet is part of our penance. "Thus for the Blind God and the atonement we all seek I offer my blood." I mutter wrapping the chain around my arm with the barbs cutting into my flesh. "Thus for the Mute God and the wrongs we have done I offer my blood." With that I pull the chain tighter. "Thus for the forgiveness that has driven our God of Regret mad and in hopes all of us can be forgiven I offer my blood one final time so we may all seek forgiveness of our sins." With that I pull the chain tighter briefly and then pull it away and lay against the tree to recover. "I'll proceed on in just a moment. Just need to wait for the bleeding to slow down." I mutter closing my eyes to the pain. One always has to be careful during these things otherwise they will die like father did but atonement eventually costs us our lives.

While I catch my breath my journey flashes through my mind. I had walked for endless weeks, taking a ship partway but proceeding the rest of the way on foot to avoid other nations and troubles with bringing ships from the Grand Duchy into other nation's waters. I had carried simple rations and have used them sparingly, preferring to eat on the go and forging but thankfully the bounty of nature had been generous and the bandits few. But still my departure from home is still one I have to look back towards.

Grand Duchy of Elefthería

Lady Valeria vaer Olderen's room
Several months ago

I walk into my sister's bedroom and see her wearing her disguise, at first I am shocked to see another me in my room but I quickly remember why things are as they are. "Hm... I think it is perfect sis." I say looking her over and then comparing us in a mirror on the wall. "I was wondering if the armor would be enough to cover up your chest."

"It makes it a bit tight but it works." She replies in her own voice.

"You speaking reminds me, how is your imitation of my voice coming along?"

"Just perfect brother." She replies in what could be called a perfect imitation of my voice.

"Excellent." I say giving a small clap "Any other concerns?"

"The fact that you grow facial hair will also be a problem, brother."

"Claim I have just been shaving every morning, provided no one looks closely, which they shouldn't, it should be passable enough."

"Right. You are shaving all the time, I am sick and thus cannot meet with anyone at all, and you are almost always wearing your armor for what will most likely be months." She says sarcastically.

I shrug and repeat the conversation we have been having back and forth. "What other choice do we have sis? One of us needs to go and we both know I am the best option."

"We should go together." She insists with a small glint in her eyes and shifting back into her normal voice. "If we are both together then..."

"And leave Elefthería without the guidance of a vaer Olderen?" I ask sharply. "Out of the question. Simply and absolutely out of the question. One of us needs to stay and defend Elefthería. Vaer Olderen founded the Grand Duchy and vaer Olderen will be the ones to defend it to the last man... and woman."

"You know full well we have cousins who can take our place..."

"Would you trust any of them, those without any experience leading the Grand Duchy, to lead us?"

"Granted but you are the Grand Duke not me."

"And who is the one who frequently signs the documents in my name in a perfect imitation of my signature? The one who I have always confided in on how to run the Grand Duchy? Who was the one who would frequently be my representative at the Council?"

She closes her eyes and grounds her teeth. "Granted."

"Besides what if it became public knowledge that the Grand Duke, and his sister if she came along, left the Grand Duchy immediately without any form of explanation? Best case scenario is they, the Council, prevent us from leaving and that is that. Worse case scenario the Grand Duchy gets attacked and since we are not here it will seem like we abandoned our home because we knew what would happen. Appearances must be maintained sis."

"Fine." She finally relents. "But you know as well as I do that this farce cannot last forever."

"Oh I know it can't. But with any luck it will last long enough. And then I will be done with my work and return to you."

She nods quietly. "I will be waiting brother. We are twins who have plotted our path in life together so I will keep waiting."

"Good." I nod back placing my hand on her shoulder and lead her over to the sofa facing the window so we can look out together. "Good. I couldn't ask for a better sister and a better confidant. I will return home when I can."

She gives a small smile while looking out at the gardens with me. "I will be waiting. The repentance of Doulos protect you from the darkness."

"May He protect you and everyone else as well."

Thus we spend the rest of the day just sitting together and staring out at the garden and the city, at our home that we have always known. At its spires designed to give hope to those in the city, at the white glowing flames powered by magic to give us light when darkness falls. A city to us that it elegant and beautiful yet strong and reliable at the same time, our home we have always protected from all that may come. For me I burn it well into my eyes in case I do not see it again.

The present

I open my eyes again and shake my arm slightly. "Well the bleeding has slowed down enough I believe." I mutter and take out a rag and my canteen and wet the rag to I can wipe the blood off my chains. "Done. Now I think I should continue my way." I stand up, put my helmet back on, pick up my bag, and proceed on my way. "The circle of stones..." I mutter as a final thought and continue my walk through the forest.

Crogacht and the Tender played their instruments, Crogacht mandolin while the Tender continued to play his flute. They played an ancient song said to have been composed by the Blind Bard as the first song ever created, the Crepri, in the center of Fuascailte. If one looked close enough there was a slight glow to the stones as carvings became visible, elegant swirls and knots, and it looked as if the wind itself became visible and danced along to the movement, following the inscriptions on the stones. As the song continued the wind grew more powerful and the glow increased tenfold, now a humming accompanied the flute and mandolin as the Odes continued to play.

Vuk stared up at the owl that struck him, dumbfounded. It had stared at him so intently. Could birds be intelligent? And the voice! It had spoken to him again, telling him to follow. "I must find the source of the Voice!" And he took off, pushing through the crowds of people.

Waydon Harbor

One of the Officers from the Royal Guard Regiment patrolled the Docks, he spotted a Lupintine Beastman. Following Royal protocol, he ran up to the beast, and shouted along the way.
"Oi! You! Beastmen, all Non-Human species, upon entering domains of the Crown of Amuthland, all must pay a Royal tax, that must be equal to 10 Royal Rothals." he said, with a Hint of disgust towards him, and shouldering his Musket.

Whitehaven Palace

"So, when will we begin to discuss this treaty?" Asked Varik as he walked into the entry way and looked at the architecture. He was thrilled that they would be able to sign an alliance, but he wasn't sure on what the terms of the alliance would be and the Emperor had left him to set up the treaty. Which meant that a lot of stress was going to be put on him. Varik couldn't help but notice several paintings of beastmen being killed along the walls. Hmm, so they don't like the beastman, that's good to know. But then again any power in the world usually has something they don't like and for us its Crotwana damn buzzards have been trying to take our land for years.

Whitehaven Palace, Amuthland
"Ah yes, the Treaty, let us get to the Palaces Meeting room first, its Chairs and table are made of some of the finest timber in Cre!" Edward said as he continued along. Soon, he noticed Commander Varik notice the paintings on the wall of his Grandfather and father hunting varying types of Beastmen on the Mainland. "I see you're taking an interest in the paintings of my Grandfather and Father, the prior Kings to me hunting the Beastmen. They would have done it here to, but we ran out of the damn things!" he said chuckling. Soon, they had arrived at the Meeting room, with over the door way, the finely engraved Royal shield of Amuthland, with on both sides of it, the national animal, the Adruvish Wolf.
The two Royal servants, who had opened the grand doors to the palace, had followed him, along with two Guards with Arquebuses were with them as well, following just behind. The Royal Servants opened the doors, and Edward began to speak yet again.
"So, let's get down to business Commander Va~" he said, staring directly dumbfounded at a man wearing a black and brown hoody, sitting in the chair at the end of the room, where Edward would have sat. Angered at how this man got in, Edward unsheathed his Jewel Encrusted sword, which also signaled for his guards to aim their weapons at this Trespasser. A guard then shouted at this unknown figure.
"You are trespassing on Royal Property of his majesty, the King of Amuthland! he said, putting a Bayonet on his firearm.

A merry laughter danced throughout the air as the man vaulted himself to the floor from the chair and gracefully to his feet, he seemingly floated to the ground. An exaggerated bow followed afterwards "Oh if it isn't my dear sisters little pet. You truly are an interesting mortal to spy on, so much material I can us for my music." He said following with another merry explosion of laughter before he disappeared for a second and reappeared next to the guard leaning on his shoulder "What about you mate? Do you have any glorious deeds that are worthy of to be made immortal by the Blind Bard?" A crazy grin plastered across his face before he did a few backflips to stand in front of the group again and sat on the floor pulling a mandolin and flute out of nowhere "Anything you want to hear?" He asked as his hood fell backwards to reveal his missing eyes that were ripped from his head.

The owl continued to fly through to the countryside until finally it exited the bustling city and hovered waiting for Vuk to catch up, or at least see it, before it took off again. While still going deeper into the countryside the owl banked and began heading towards the shoreline again.

Edward, enraged by this very deed pulled by this Eshine, snatched the Firearm out of the guards hand, and aimed it at the Blindbard. He pulled the trigger, but the gun malfunctioned, the King of all Amuthland, shook his head, still with a face of rage, and shoved the weapon towards the guard, and then yelled at him.
"Call in the whole Royal Guard Regiment, NOW!" he screamed at the guard, who, with a face of fear ran off to do his Monarch's command. Edward still angered, turned to the Blind Bard.
"What the Bloody hell do you want?" he said with a hint of anger, and snob in his voice.
Waydon
The Royal Guard who previously ran towards the Beastman on the piers of Waydon, had now begun a full chase of the beast. Running out of energy and breath, the Guard pulled out a Bronze Whistle, and blew on it, and within moments, 4 Royal Dragoons rode up to him, and the Guard on foot spoke.
"I don't know what the bloody hell is wrong with that thing, but follow it! Even if you have to traverse the whole Kingdom!" the Guard said, with the Beastman still in somewhat view, running through the average crowd of Amuthish citizens. The Dragoon officer, wearing a black felt hat, nodded, and soon, the four Dragoons gave chase to the beast as well.

The Blind Bards silliness was replaced with a look of extreme seriousness, a emotional transition one would expect an emotional whiplash would occur. "To give you a warning... A storm is coming, a storm that at one time threatened to rip apart all of creation, something none of the Eshine can stand up to. The King of Nothing is returning and I can no longer hold him back, creation has fallen to much to the reign of sin and vice and the deeds of old may repeat themselves again... Many Eshine will die and the land will be ripped apart. You are to stay away from the kingdom that claims me as their patron as there is the only place that salvation can be achieved."

Varik was shocked to see the man standing there and to get past the guards no less. The man claimed to be the blind bard, but it could easily be an illusion. "You speak of blasphemy! The blind bard is no God, and nor do any civilized people see him that way. Your sir are a man impersonating a so called god. But who are you really?" Asked Varik as he let his accent take over. He was shocked to see the man. But there was something about him, but it seemed clear, but yet it wasn't and he didn't believe this man at all. Varik now drew his weapon and was prepared for anything. "You will not stand in the way of this kingdom or the Ralis Empire!" Barked Varik.
