Oh, it's not you...

Just an inferiority complex. Thanks to those three boys... I tend to feel like I'm being looked down on a lot.

Especially here, where it seems like everyone else has special powers of some sort. They were just gifted with them. Me? I had to work to get here. I had to suffer a lot. And they all just got special powers, just like that.

Well, that doesn't mean I'm not just as good as them. Better than them. And I'm going to prove it.

No, no, no! Do not get attracted to pawns. Especially ones like her, who hate men, and would rather castrate me than hold my hand. Plus, it'll turn out wrong if you ruin the dynamic of having her as a room mate.

You're using her for defense Coilin, not eye candy.

He readjusted himself in his chair, the mental whipping taking place in a second.

You know, not all of us gained our powers easily. And sometimes they aren't gifts.

Most of the time, they're curses.

Anyway, I wish you luck, Raven. With your goal. And I do have to say, your powers, what you've accomplished, is very, very impressive. Far more than some of the others here...

Leading a group of zombies down the hall, Franz sees a disabled kid in a wheelchair chatting to a girl with two knives. His memory had deteriorated since he became a zombie and undead and whatnot, but he still recognized that disabled scum and trash of a kid that sat in the wheelchair, the one that stole his initial plan for a roommate for Niko. They would've been nice together, she can do the killing and he can do the reviving, and she can kill them again and he can revive them again...would be a good way to get rid of Niko's inner pansy. Both of them were Russian too. If only Niko wasn't so sensitive, he could've been the most sadistic, powerful, and crazy villain alive. How can I bring that out? He's falling for that mind reader girl, if she dies, he would probably destroy me but destroy the school... I thought she was scared of being raped? Why would she let a kid that can tap into the mind room with her? Logically, if a necromancer hasn't killed anyone out of pure joy, he's not crazy. Are dead people just generally more logical then those that are alive? He internally argues with himself.

He walks up to the disabled kid and Raven, leading his zombie horde behind him. "Fine seeing you here today," he says, lighting his pipe. "Having a nice little chat?"

EDIT: assume he's fortified his mind, that's his normal stance anyway, can never be to cautious after being assassinated before

Hmm...? Oh... Oh, I apologize. Second train of thought. Coilin said, and then noticed the zombie.

Anton was kneeling in front of Machina when he heard James's voice. He had unsheathed two wicked looking daggers, though whether this was in preparation of fighting the invaders or in case Machina went nuts he didn't know. "My suits not picking up anything on it's scanners. My guess is Machina incapacitated them, but they came too and moved out. What about you Coilin? Picking anything up with your scans?"

There was a pause, and Anton heard nothing. He looked over, and saw Raven and Coilin staring intently at each other. Anton sighed aloud, pushing himself up. He walked next to themT raised his hand in front of their glossy eyes, and snapped a few times. "Hey! More action, less staring into each others eyes, ok? We've got a job to do." He got back to his position near Machina, shaking his head. Thank God he had his emotions in check. He'd hate to be incapacitated by a pretty face. Could you image, not doing anything to save the school, just stand and flirt? Or even worse, hide out in some dorm room for alone time? He laughed. That'd be ridiculous.

Anton, weren't you feeling something for a certain demoness not one hour ago?

"That doesn't count! That's a passive power clearly. Phermones or some such." He muttered, ignoring the looks he got for his quiet outburst.

Coilin raised an eyebrow, having only been staring at Raven for a few seconds. He rolled his eyes again.

Ass. At least he has his uses. he thought to himself.

And then put a finger to his temple and did another search. "Nope... as I said before, I only pick up two intruders..."

"Not my first option," Franz said, oblivious of the kid's obvious displeasure. "Actually, would've been pretty low on mine. Very low. I think, lower then where Raven was. I would've just walked past her if Nikolai didn't notice her without a roommate. Yep, I definitely would've ignored her. She's a mind-reader, just like you! It seems like we have too a surplus of those. But Niko seems happy enough with her, that's all that matters. At least you've been treating Raven good. As a reward, I'll give you this." He hands him the sword that he was just brandishing. "It's a hunting sword, I used from 1890. I'm very old. I found some young blokes in Britain trying to auction it off. Let's just say I got it back. Consider it yours, good chap." He pats the boy on the back.

Coilin blinked, and took the sword carefully. "Uhm... okay. Are you sure there's no... ulterior motive to giving me this sword?" he asked.

Releasing the slide, Apostol holstered it and walked over to Hayate, who was feeling slightly better now that she had some rest, but was still covered in the drying out blood.

"Not bad, Apostol, not bad...... So, did you get 'em?" Inquired the wounded Hayate, holding one particular graze on her left arm.

However, before he could reply, Apostol was snapped out of Danger Reaction, next giving his response. "Th-Thanks.... A-And no, although I did manage land the knife you gave, but both of them got away."

"Can you get me to the clinic first? I just need some patching up." Requested Hayate, as the boy supported her up and guided her all the way to the medical bay. There she was treated for her wounds and given several pain relievers, then going against the staff's present there and headed back out to the hallways to find the enemy the had engaged.

After floating around, taking out the random infiltrator, Rachel discovered Apostol and Hayate. "HI!!!!!!!" She yelled, her voice screaming. "I haven't met you guys. Are you good to beat up to? This could be fun. What happened to your arm? Oh my god I'm not...interrupting anything, am I?"

"Nope," Franz says, cheerily. "None at all. Good to get that blade off my hands. Literally." He waves the hole he poked in his hand at the boy, revealing his open hole, slowly regenerating. "Can you believe that Niko says I'm annoying? He says it's that I've been restless for too long while dead. I wish I had this much energy when I was alive!"

Coilin nodded. "Uhm... Yes. That would certainly have been a boon..." he said, looking for a good place to put the sword on his wheelchair.

"Interrupting what exactly?" Inquired Hayate, confused as well, although not as much as Apostol, but cannot do anything other than smile.

Marissa sets up her laptop in a corner, running on what is remaining of her reserve power. At least she had like four other laptops, and multiple people around her which could charge them up. Bored, she plugs in her headphones, leans back against the wall, and plays her playlist offline with her Spotify Premium. Resting a while, she places her laptop on the ground before laying down in front of it, playing Minesweeper. After losing in a great explosion for the first time in a while, the mine's explosion reminds her of files she downloaded about X and Milo. Involved something about explosions. She clicked on her downloads folder, but quickly became lost. Should've organized these, she thought, putting her hand on her hand. After searching a while, she notices that she moved them to her Documents folder instead, under a folder named "Academy Stuff". Goddammit. At least I found it. Navigating to the file on Super Soldiers, X and Milo were listed.

Still laying down, she calls Anton. "Anton, I have files on these guys we are fighting. Want to take a look?"

Violet turned to Honor and handed her the railgun. "Hold onto this. I, going to go look for everyone else. After all, with what we're planning to do, we need some more people." she said before stepping back. As her demonic cloud formed around her, she continued to feel its draw on her strength. She had to push herself. She couldn't give up now. "I'll be back soon!" was the sentence she managed to string together before vanishing.

Violet appeared next to Anton, only there was no cloud. Something had gone wrong. Her power had given out half-way throught the trip. She was lucky to be alive. For about a second she felt fine. Then it struck her. Every muscle in her body gave her a sharp pain. Every one of them were to drained to move. All of her strength, both mystic and physical, is gone. Even breathing was a difficult task.

As all of this occurred, she fell to the side and collapsed against Anton. She look ill. She appeared to be near-death. That is the state she was in. Her mind was barely holding onto consciousness.

Yeah. She took the sword carefully, holding it and admiring the balance and craftsmanship.

Right. Right, put it in the back.

She tucked it away carefully, not wanting to damage a good weapon.

Weapons, she felt, were quite often the closest thing she had to friends. Hence why she called her katanas 'the girls'.

Coilin looked at her for a moment and felt something weird.

He knew she wanted the blade...

And he wanted to give it to her.

This has never happened before... Strange... he thought to himself before turning and watching the goings on of the other people.

If you want it... You can have it. he thought at her. Just... After he leaves. He might get angry if I give it to you immediately.

Lee who had been speedily moving towards the power level to meet the intruders who had so rudely locked them in before, had been moving in peaceful quiet, only broken by his own quiet humming of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic". Off course that was before the near-silence was broken by a screaming voice yelling at two people (Apostol and Hayate) about being on a secret date. As he skidded to a stop in front of them, he said "Hey you three! As much as I hate to stop the flirting, I believe that he's right. They're headed to the power level."
