She jumped up, tripping over the side of the couch and landing on her back. "Owww, Charooon, don't do that." She said, twisting herself so that she was fully on the floor. She tried to rise, but found herself too lazy halfway through. Thus, she laid down once again on the floor. "Can I have some help?"

He doesn't help her up, instead coming over to her and continuing to tickle her. "Why do you get the fun of pranking me but I can't simply tickle you?"

Katherine
Katherine squirmed and squealed, trying to inch away. "No!! It's not fair! I'm little and tiny, and you are...you're just...this isn't fair!" When she finally got up she bolted to the kitchen, hiding behind a wall corner peeking out. "That was mean. Do you know how ticklish I am? You coulda made me die!" She was, in fact, breathing heavily.

"Ye-yeah...sure, I'll come with you", she said, sticking close to him. What is with this place? If these people can heal themselves, what...what can anything else here do?

Millosm began walking slowly as Tanya caught up with him. He began looking around the area, then he turned to look at her with a thoughtful expression. He had never been the kind of person to start conversation, but there was something about her that intrigued him. "So.. You really don't have any abilities?" He finally asked after a long moment of walking in silence. "No strength, agility, flight, nothing?"

Tamya frowned at his question. "Why do you ask me like it's some weird kind of surprising thing? NORMAL people don't have weirdo super secret powers you know", she said quite annoyed. "Most of us just walk around getting through life without using fancy shmancy magic or whatever the hell it is."

As she waiting for him to reply, she jumped onto one of the wings, dangling her legs over the edge. Her tail swayed slowly, as she seemed to be enjoying herself.

Dagon Argrave
Dagon looked up at her as she gracefully landed on the wing, her legs kicking a little as she sat there. Her tail swayed lazily, so either she was happy to make his acquaintance or she was pleased with her repairs. Or maybe both. He shrugged a little as if to concede to her claims. "Well, I'll have to wait to see you in action to agree with the second, but I certainly agree with the first claim." He always had a soft spot for cute girls who were full of energy. It usually meant they wouldn't think twice about his own little quirks. He didn't mind talking to himself, but other people found it weird or disturbing.

She later talked about how she used it to escape from a facility she was in. "I know the feeling. I had my own troubles with being created..." He paused slightly, the conversation bringing up a few unpleasant memories of his own liberation. There was a time that this would have triggered something inside of him, a dormant Archangel would slowly rise and demand retribution to wrongs long since righted. Now, he simply tightened his fist slightly, exhaled slowly, and looked back up with his usual smile. "But it's all better now. So, why were you made? You certainly don't look bred for war, unlike myself." He didn't ask why she ran away, as he felt the answer was obvious.

"I was created to be in charge of a special forces group of my nation's Airforce." she answered. "They prioritized my education, leaving out anything they deemed unnecessary. My purpose is to fly this jet to the best if my abilities...."

She jumped off of the wing, now standing directly in front of him. "You'd be surprised at what I can do. My reflexes are far superior to that of a human. Then there's my speed, stamina, senses, etc."

Dolly smiled and jumped onto the bed, sprawling out and beginning to purr. "It's soooo soft!" she cheered.

She turns...a shade of dark blue. She keeps silently. "T-thank you...Cameron..."

Morgan tries to ignore the aching pain on his now blue lips, and leans in to the kiss, holding it for as long as bearable. Or how smooth her features seemed, framed in her long red hair. He had to pull himself back into the conversation to avoid seeming like a weirdo.

"Huh. You used etcetera abbreviated while talking. Weird choice, but I won't judge." She talked about her abilities, how she was past peak human in several regards. "I'd love to see just what you can do. After all, a special forces girl like you ought to have a few moves to show off. Like those reflexes. I bet they're—" he paused, looking up with a smirk, "snakelike-DANG IT!" He facepalmed himself, ashamed of messing up such a simple joke.

How could screw that up? Sky handed you that on a silver platter!

"I don't know!" He turned back around. "I'm so sorry about that. I was just—" His hand shot out suddenly, in an attempt to boop her nose before she could stop him. Time to see if her reflexes were past peak human.

Growing quiet, Tanya struggled to process the information given to her. Immortality...most people would kill for that. Him, however, it looks like he would rather die right this second. Once she heard his question, however, she came back to the present. "Oh, erm...I didn't actually sign up for it per say..." She wrung her hangs together nervously. "They kinda caught me doing something I really shouldn't and tracked me down. Of course, it's better than the government catching me....I would rather not disappear for eternity as a missing person's case. Anywho...they decided to give me a choice, come here or get sent to the governments grasps. I'm not stupid."

"Oh I see how it is.." He exchanged a look between Zalae and the woman before turning around and getting a look at the area around him. "I suppose I could just run off and let you two have your immature fun. I suppose I will find something interesting to do." He looked Zalae. "Care to point me in a direction? Or are you too busy coddling the woman?" His face would no longer be cheerful and sarcastic, but more serious and business like.

After the man left, Zalae couldn't meet the gaze of Iscalis, turning his back.

"It's not the way he says it, but you probably think I'm a creep," he said, voice losing emotion. "I should get going."

Tanya wasn't quite sure what he was rambling about. "Well, it is supposedly an academy for villains, right?" She asked. "And I can hardly do anything. Maybe they expect ME to watch after you. Or....they have cameras." She started looking about a bit paranoid. "Definitely cameras. Or maybe they are just strong enough to kill us if we try anything....if you can heal, imagine what they may be capable of..." She gave an involuntary shiver. Millosm gave a thoughtful nod as he listened to Tanya. "I would rather you watch me than someone I haven't met, even if you were lying about not having any abilities.." He looked her over with his eyes and shrugged. "I doubt you are.. But then again, Iv'e never met a woman who was truthful to me." He then looked as if he were listening to someone speak. After a short while, he rolled his eyes and nodded. "I suppose I may have spooked her with my ranting.. Fine," he said very quietly, then looked to the girl with an awkward smile. "I can assure you that the government would be far worse.. They would-" He stopped himself, realizing that his next words probably wouldn't have comforted her. He then began to think of her situation very carefully. Eventually he spoke again. "If this place is full of villains and not a total lie, then a powerless girl such as yourself doesn't seem to be on fair ground with anyone who would try to pick on you.." Millosm began thinking about how he was once powerless against his father's beatings. He shook the unpleasant memory away and gave her a bit of a genuinely caring smile. "I will make sure no one lays a hand on you while we stay here. You will be safe, and I will have an excuse to beat someone until they are bloody and bruised!" He began to laugh as he said the last part, but he stifled it before he got carried away. "So if anyone bothers you, just scream my name and I will come running. Unless you would rather be beaten or killed, your choice. I'm fine with whatever."

"I guess that's true. I promised to protect her... It's easier to do that when I'm by her side," Derek said, sounding slightly happier. "Thanks for the advice... But what should I do to tell her what I think of her? Should I just tell her or should I try to do something really romantic and make a big deal out of it?"

Beatrix Marigold
Triss stood a little straighter, happy that someone recognized her good dating sense. Derek continued to ask what he should do, whether he should just tell her or try some line. Triss looked off to the side, wondering what was the best idea. She had a fairly good idea who he was talking about, but wasn't completely sure. Either way she had an idea. She clapped twice, and a black felt bag appeared in her hands. She reached her hand in, the bag clearly seeming bigger on the inside. She began rummaging through, head cocked with her tongue out.

"Aha! Here you are." She pulled out a clear white crystal about the size of her palm, and placed it into Derek's palm. "It'll act like a prism. Shine some light through, and it'll break apart in all colors of the rainbow. So if you want to make a gesture, tell her how she's like the crystal. She helps add beauty into your life with the simplest of ingredients, and you never want it to go away. Or something like that. Some people like cheesy lines when they've got heart behind them." She moved her hand under Derek's, making him close his hand.

"Or just tell her, and keep the crystal as a keepsake. Now get going lover boy." She shooed him away, knowing he probably had some errand to run for the school. "And you better tell me how it works out!"

Anton smiled at the news. Although he would have been fine with her decision either way, he would have been sad to see her go. She had grown on him a lot in the week and a half they'd know each other. Had it really only been ten days? He swore it felt like longer. Maybe it was a side effect of having her memories which made it feel longer than it really was. He looked into her crimson eyes, the fire in them no longer burning with a bright rage. "I'm glad to hear it Pierce."

He wondered what he'd have her do. Before Pierce hadn't had too many functions. She mostly acted as maid, disposing of waste and cleaning laboratory stations and equipment. When that was done, he'd tell her about Earth, answering questions while he worked. "What did you have in mind? With your mind personality restored, do you know what you would like to do here in the lab? I don't really care what you do, so long as it helps me or my work."

"I wouldn't mind doing anything asked of me, only for you though..." she answered."I'll help you with your research in any way that I can... All I want in return is for you to stay by my side. I don't want them to hurt me again. Protect me..." She truly was beyond broken. Her pain had been masked by her anger, which was now gone. She was like how Pierce had began without his help. Fear was her enemy.

Anton Greaves, Before Timeskip
He continued their embrace, not willing to break away until she was ready. It seemed she was back to square one, worried about some outside force coming in and taking her back to the cold dark place of her nightmares. "Pierce, they're gone now. No one from your past is going to hurt you anymore." Realizing he didn't know if that was completely true, he added, "And if they try, I'll stop them. That's what friends do. They help protect each other."

As he held her, he reflected on how strange the whole situation was. Wasn't it odd that the scientist had to comfort the soldier, where the scholar promises protection for the warrior? And even stranger, how now he was so willing to befriend a war machine from another dimension when weeks earlier he would've worried more about what she could do to him. But regardless of his past, this was who he was now. A protector.

After informing Pat that it would be fine to call her Mistress, Justice explained that as far as jobs went, she mainly wanted him to do her studying for her. She then suggested that it would be fine for him to sleep next to her. "There might be someone else in bed also, but if you can fit, you can sleep next to me," she said, sounding slightly amused. She frowned though when he mentioned Venus, and being able to visit her. "I'm not trying to tell you how to live your life, but why would you want to visit her?" she asked coldly. "That being said, I'm alright with it if you really want to visit her."

Patrick O'Bannon, Midway through Timeskip
He nodded at her requests. Book work, while something he was unaccustomed to, was something he could easily bring himself up to speed on. Sleeping might be strange, but he was willing to forgo sleep if needed. However, Mistress Justice seemed a little hesitant about him seeming Mistress Venus again. He quickly stammered out an explanation. "W-well, she was a g-good mistress, offering to s-show me around the ship as well as t-treating me less like a servant and more like an e-equal. "M-maybe the two of you should meet sometime? U-unless there was something you had in mind now?" He looked up eagerly, hoping to serve her well. "I-I'm willing to start my servitude now."

Iscalis walks towards him, uncertain what to say. "No... you did nothing wrong..." She stops suddenly, tears coming to her eyes. She whispers something, barely audible. "Damn it, I want to remember you."
Nweh.

He looks back at her with his mask on before slipping it off, sighing. "What's wrong?" Did she forget him? Heh, like that mattered. Probably healthy for her in the long run, the cynical part of his brain echoed.

The Mexican Restaurant they had ate at was great, and they allowed the little public exhibitionism that they had displayed. It seemed like their public acts of affection defined their relationship at times, even when he took her around to museums and around the city. Not that he was complaining.

His eyes slowly flitted open from slumber. He was more concerned about the child that she was nurturing inside of her, raising his hands and placing it on her slightly plump stomach. It wasn't as large as a normal pregnant woman, probably due to her cyborg mechanisms or something. He started to move his hand in a circle on her stomach, trying to get her to wake up.

Kadus woke up in purest defencive mode, or that was how it seemed. She jolted awake, dislodging Niko's hand before pinning him to the bed, arms clamping his shoulders.
"Morning," she said cheerily, giving him a soft kiss on the lips. "I'm...so glad I can't get hangovers."
For a normal person, the amount that Kadus drank would be life-threatening: thankfully since she could get rid of the harmful toxins she could drain whole bottles of vodka a day without either hurting herself...or, crucially, her baby. The amount of funny things she liked to smoke would also make many people fill ill just thinking about. "Do you think we should wake up for another day of not very much?"

Karl

Karl always got up early, and an advantage of being able to control machines with his mind meant that he could start work early. His multinational corporation could be ran from just hear: lying in a comfortable bed, one arm wrapped against his girlfriend with his face nestled in the side of her neck. The morning work done at typically superhuman speeds, he began the generally difficult task of waking Marissa up, which he preferred to do by exploring her body in an odd massage, his pressure building as time elapsed.

He smiled as she took a dominant position on top of him. Sometimes he thought that she was too much trouble, too hard for him to handle...but the way she made him feel would always outweigh the drugs and alcohol she would do.

"There's a mission today," he said, clasping her hands. "Too bad we aren't in it."

The shadow spread throughout the room, until the whole room was darkness.
Ha.
You are hilarious, dearie.
One minor issue-
I am.
A. GOD.

The shadow condensed around Amelia, causing her to slowly lose her precious human oxygen.
Trust me, little Catherin over here didn't choose to be here - I made HIM, as I have made HIM do a great many things.

"Then, as a deity, you are obviously wise. Wise enough to know that anything you will do will affect your host and by extension, you. So, I understand the fundamental right of not liking another person, as I'm a protector of this right by heart. However, if you make a battle happen here, you'll be affecting your main way of roaming around this Earth, which wouldn't bring you any good results."

Shadow had put the new person in the "dangerous" part of his profiles. He would try to solve the situation diplomatically. If not, he would have to take a course of action in order to continue his investigation about the Academy. Problem is: He would have to fight a...god?

Host?
Ha.
This boy is not my host.
He is my plaything, a result of a hate contract.

The god released its grip on Amelia, keeping her from dying.
I will leave you alone on the condition that my toy will leave here in relative peace.
With a flash of light the room was suddenly bigger. A glowing blue line rimmed the area where the back wall used to be, and the room was easily twice as big as before. Another bed sat in this extra space.
Happy?

"Solid proof if it was ever needed that we have an incompetent leader," Kadus said, stroking the back of his hair. "You'd make all the enemy stop fighting with that handsome face..."

nd well...I can feel the unused power in those muscles I'm pinning down to the bed...can't you resist me?" she asked with a teasing grin.

Karl

"She begins to awaken!" Karl said happily as Marissa stirred beneath his touch, returning his hands to complete the massage. "If you don't make it fast, you'll be cooking your own breakfast...because I'm hungry and hate waiting."

Unified Free Lands wrote:With everyone on board the dropship in the hangar, the bay doors finally opened and the VTOL lifted off the ground and rapidly accelerated forward into the sky. "We're already close to the target," Lev started, putting on his helmet. "Everyone on the Black Team, get your armor on. We're going to be jumping soon and if you don't wear that armor, it's quite possible that you will fall to your death. The jetpack on the back is controlled by gestures made while using the gloves, understood?"

The target, of course, was a Russian transport that was carrying two prisoners to America, where they were being transferred to a prison in their own country. The League wanted to recover them, but they also wanted to recover the secret experiment that was packed away in a black box and being transported on the same plane.

Nightshade put the armor on quickly. It was a little heavy, but because it was made for flight it wasn't any heavier than a thin sheet of metal. Once he had put it on, he shrugged his shoulders and got comfortable in it. He then looked over the controls, memorizing them for when he went to fly, in a few minutes. "Well, this is going to be quite an adventure..." he muttered, with a grin. Finally, he put on his helmet and looked over at Lev. "Ready whenever you are," he called.
