And the scar....well, shortening a long story, I was fighting against a man who was supposedly unarmed. Turns out that the fight was a setup, and the guy wasn't unarmed. He grabbed a cleaver that some of his friends threw to help him and gave me this scar. I was young, 15 or 16 years. And let's just say that his friends found out that you shouldn't let me get near blades."
The story itself wasn't a lie. Back at his dimension, in a way to gather up more money, Shadow infiltrated a high earnings underground fighting club as an "independent". He managed to get to the finals against a fighter supported by three different crime organizations. They cheated, throwing a blade in the cage as a way of getting past the rules that were against competitors entering the cage armed. In the end, Shadow disarmed and killed the man, winning a good amount of money and crippling the operation of the families in one hit.
"This person attacked you first, so you were within your rights to kill him. Self defense is honorable, and it proves you're no pushover. When I was younger, school took me away from the Temple where I had lived. Once I revealed what I really was, I was tormented by a group of boys. One night, I lured them into the forest, where I trapped them with magic. Then I ate them one by one. It was this event that made me realize Man was no place for me. It's hard to prey on the weak nowadays when it is so easy for others to track you."

"You can't stay in here forever, I found an open room in the system for you. You'll have to share, but it's better than staying here." Father had said as he shut the door to his room. I approached the room, and bumped straight into Amelia as she approached the room.
"Sorry!" I gasped.
"And you nearly destroyed my work. Watch yourself, stranger." The demoness said, uncharalistically blunt. She was not about to have such a master piece damaged. She entered the room and began her convosation.
