"But--but I came from an alternate earth!" she said frantically, trying to recapture his interest. I can't bore the real Mad Hatter. I can't...

What would she do if her idol thought she was boring?

"Hmm... Really? How alternate? Do the bread-and-butterflies have jam on their wings?" the Mad Hatter ask, tapping his chin.

A small chuckle escaped his throat, and his purple eyes flashed in amusement as he saw her scramble to make herself more interesting.

Why did I let you control for the day? Now this poor girl is going to hate me...

What, were you wanting to get with her instead of Alice, ya codger?

What!? No! I-

Oi! I got ya mate! Don't worry!

Haha...

I'll have her wrapped around your little finger.

The demoness had been content the previous week and no one had bothered her. She personally blamed it on her eating the girl, but if this was why most of the others had avoided her, then it had done what she wanted it to. Still, the teacher who tried to prevent her eating the girl was intreguing. She relived the event in her mind, though heaving up the soul essance still troubled her. She was sure she'd eventually get another change to sate her predatory urges, though it would not be here. She left her dorm with some art supplies and made her way to a window, where she began to draw what she saw there.

Moving Shadow

After walking through a considerable time in a ship that seemed endless, and only able to memorize the way to the hangar and to a place that could be called as a gym, John returned to one of his constant habits: Observation.

He simply stopped, looking through a window. The contemplation and observation helped him with his doubts about this dimension. Also helped him to keep up the character he built for the mission. He only hoped that the rest of the students that were in the same mission didn't compromise it in any way. Or talked too much.

In the middle of the calm scene, a student appeared. Apparently, she started painting. It was rare to see someone with the particular skill and talent of drawing. And then, helped by his mask, John started to observe what he considered a fine art being made in front of him.

She continued her work, eventually beginning to overlay a description of the scene in ornate Japanese characters. Amelia had not been in school long enough to fully learn the entirety of the kanji syliblery, though she did know the other two thoroughly. After this, she signed her name using the same, elegant script and stood back to make final observations. It was then that she felt a presance. She lowered her wings and tried to look passive, before stating "Whoever you are...why are you watching me?"

Shadow merely moved his head calmly, looking straight at the girl. Behind his mask, he was staring at her. And then, in a calm voice that was partially muffled due to the mask and making his best to mask his British accent, he answered calmly.

"I was merely observing your artwork, lady. A very particular style, if I may say."

Then, he started to approach the painter calmly, looking at the painting.

"So, may I know the name of the artist?"

He usually was quiet. But this was a different situation. And he needed to blend in with the crowd that occupied the ship. This was his opportunity of starting his efforts.

Shadow carefully measured each word in a way that the exact amount of information was released.

"Yes, it's a beautiful piece of artwork. And I'm more of an observer, specially to artworks. I'm Moving Shadow. From London. If you prefer, John Rhodes. And I can see that your mom taught you well in this specific line of art. It's a pleasure, Ms. Engawa."

He blinked with surprise when she hugged him, but was more surprised when she blushed as she pulled away. "There's only one problem...we have one bed."

He began to lead her to his ship. Once they were there, Cameron simply approached the rear entrance, causing it to open and slide down a ramp for them to step up.

"Yeah...how's that a problem? Is it wrong to share?" she replied. There was little she was taught about society during her life. Because of this, she saw no problem with the situation.

Gela walked up the ramp, slightly excited with going with Cameron. Maybe it was dumb to put so much trust into someone she had hardly known, left, and met again, but it was her old idol and crush. She wasn't about to pass that up.

The interior of the ship was amazing, ornately crafted and comparable to the workmanship of the European bases (before their destruction). She sat down in a seat far in the back, wondering where she was supposed to sit.

"Um, if you're not uncomfortable with sharing, I guess we can," he replied, scratching his head nervously out of habit.

"Woah, woah woah, let's not be too hasty now.." He said as he took a few steps toward the man, his left index finger pointed to him. "What is this about a safehouse? For whom? And a teleporter.. An experimental teleporter??" He would look between the three with a look of bewilderment painted on his face. He would look back to the man and cross his arms. So what? I like 'em a little crazy.

Then they got layers...

Disney really has corrupted you...

Damn those American pigs!

The Hatter smiled and laughed. "Dreamed? Really! And here I thought little old me would be... More of a nightmare for... Certain people."

He leaned in to kiss her again. "Then again... You're not certain people. I can tell.... You're obviously the best kind."

He kissed her nose, and pulled back with a mad smile.

"The crazy kind!"

And now you take Alice's line...

You're just sad because she didn't kiss you when she said it, pretty boy.

Unified Free Lands wrote:"I can't deal with this anymore," muttered Tylee under her breath. She pointed the pistol at her temple, closed her eyes, and squeezed the trigger, only to find that the gun would explode in her hand instead of firing. When she opened her eyes, she found that she was still alive, albeit with blood trickling from her palm to her wrist and arm. She knew that something had messed with the gun and that it hadn't exploded on its own, but she didn't know what. And for now, she wouldn't find that out. The poor girl couldn't handle any more stress, and she passed out and fell to the ground.

Rachel squeed in delight as the gun went off, blowing up in her hand. "Ty-ty made it go boom!" She watched as the blood trickled down from Tyler's hand, watching in delight as the crimson fluid left her body. As Tylee fell, Rachel caught her. This act was not done out of concern, but merely for a closer view of the mangled hand. She looked on with a sick smile, lowering Tylee to the ground. She held the hand, looking at it lovingly. "This is so fun."

Mentally, Shadow started to organize the informations in a "profile". It was simply his habit: He rarely used it, but he liked to possess the information, to observe the person. A higher demon could be an interesting acquaintance to possess...despite being a dangerous one.

"Well, I'm just a human. I joined so I could make part of the business easier, I guess. And I will follow you then, Ms. Engawa."

That cover had to be kept. It was a good one, justified the fact that people most probably never heard about him, and opened up future possibilities. Shadow hoped it would work as pretended.
Nothing to see here, move along.

I'm not even worthy of the name.

You just love damaging yourself, don't you?

Oh great! She's a stalker!

"So the doctors tell me," she cracked. "And pretty much everyone else."

That's because you are crazy.

"Shut up, Amy. You know you love it."

Yeah. Yeah I do.

Mercury hadn't really considered that. "Er, I'm still not that good at flying, it's safer to just use a plane. And you could try, but I think we're supposed to use some kind of armor that the school developed, with jetpacks on the back."

She didn't show it yet, but she was quite impressed that Saira had made power armor, something that she had never gotten around to designing.

Tylee

"Just because we'd be dating doesn't mean you'd have to stick with one person... Polyamory is a thing, you know," Tylee said, getting more desperate. She considered trying to plant thoughts in Rachel's head but decided against it, because it hadn't ended well last time. Last time she tried that, she ended up getting attached and actually falling in love with Rachel, when she had really only planned to try to seduce her just to see if she could.

"Really? I mean... I could slap one on to the suit, but... I never did like the look of them, even in the game it's based on. Too bulky..." Saira said, shaking her head. "Why would I need to wear that school armor if I'm piloting?"

She frowned.

"Wait... Why would I need the power armor if I'm piloting?"

She sighed, disappointed.

"I guess you could bring it just in case, you might find a use for it," Mercury said, trying to cheer her up. "We should head to the hangar, though... The others are waiting for us so they can take off."

She then had an idea, and grinned. "I could pick you up and we could fly there, it should be faster than walking."
Here lies a bad OP.

"Hmm... Talking to yourself..."

The Hatter smiled.

"Another thing we have in common. I'm starting to like you more and more, even if you might be from a boring place."
