And if she had to do it to anyone else, she wouldn't regret it then, either.
Coilin flicked her shoulder lightly. "Save the threatening with the scary eyes for the two intruders in the base." he said, and then looked at Anton. "By the way, there's two of them. Took me a minute... that's why I was quiet."
He nodded, blinking, trying to keep a track of the two invaders while talking. It was almost exhausting.

Coilin raised his hands, backing off. "I apologize."
What's wrong, Raven? he asked her telepathically.
"No questions at all," she said, dropping her hands back down to her sides and running again.Doughertania wrote:Free Empire of the Low Isles wrote:

Anton Greaves
Anton nodded as he listened. Coilin had an impressive range, but if he needed total concentration then it would make the most sense to get him into position before he started. "Once we get into the room, start scanning for them. We'll be looking through the cameras too. Once the enemy is spotted, we'll give everyone of our guys a telepathic prompt where to go. I would use the P.A. system, but I don't want to give up our plan."
As Coilin brought up the mental link, Anton froze for a moment. Although his symbiote recommended the communication, Anton's paranoia prevented him from giving it any serious though. "If you wish to, fine, but I've had some…bad experiences with telepathy. I'd rather not relive them during this mission."Arstotzkas wrote:"Anton, Raven, Collin. Got it. Anton took note of the distorted sphere that surrounded the apple, allowing it to go forward and away from James. Yes, this was definitely something that needed to be studied. But now was not the place nor the time. Thinking back to the plan, the charge could work if he could put a time bubble around energy, and if he could change it quickly.
"Can you put the time bubble around energy? And how fast can you change direction?"Charlia wrote:She sighed. "To put it bluntly, I kill people. When she removed her mask, Anton nearly did a double take. Thinking aloud to himself, he asked what happened?
He felt the symbiote enter his mind. Sorry Anton. It appears I mistook her for a different student. Her powers are as stated: she will be invaluable to taking back the security room.
Anton sighed, a little annoyed by the mixup. "Alright, so I have a plan. Marissa will open the security room, which will no doubt be locked and guarded. Raven, you will move in to fight, back up by James and myself. Try to leave one or two for us, ok?" He smiled, then continued. "After that, Coilin will try to locate the intruders, as well as see what happened to the power. Marissa and I will retake security controls with James help, and Raven can enter the fray as soon as we know where the enemy is" Turning to the crippled boy, Anton said "When you find the intruders, do what you will. I leave the decision of alerting the others immediately or assaulting these interlopers minds up to you. Just tell us."
"You may ask questions on the way. We must hurry." With that, he turned and made his way to the control room.

Anton turned to the pale girl, whose flippant tones irritated him slightly. Didn't she know he was trying to save them all? Regardless, he kept his feelings internalized. The HUD brought her up, and he read through her abilities. Animal morphing, wind and weapon summoning, and enhanced condition would lend themselves well if they encountered resistance in the control room, but still didn't help solve the problem of no power. Though perhaps he had missed something.
"Well Raven, what can you do?" He asked plainly. He still had to act like he knew nothing about them, and maybe she did have something he could work with that the application didn't tell him.
Anton picked up James question. Extending a quick hand, Anton introduced himself. "As I said before, my name is Anton, and I'm trying to figure out a way to bring back the security systems." James seemed very intriguing, especially his powers. How can he manipulate time? How is that possible? It deserved to be studied to say the least.
"Control time? How precise is that control? Could you, for example, run a single charge forward and backward in time to produce a charge?" Anton doubted it'd work if with precise controls, but a bad idea is better than no idea.
Anton nodded. "Confrontations are fine. Let's just redirect them towards the enemy." He thought for a moment about Coilin, intrigued by the idea of clairvoyance. This power also required further study. "Coilin, how far is the range on your telepathic abilities? Can they sense down in the basement where the power level is?" If it was possible, he'd try to get power back on, but to do that he'd need to determine if the power was cut by friend or foe.
"Anton, Raven, Collin. Got it. And, you know, I've never tried making a charge before but theoretically it might work" James says calmly "How my abilites function is I trap an object or something within a small bubble of time, which allows me to reverse, fast forward, pause and things like that. Coilin followed her quickly, frowning. He'd caught the last bit of her thoughts, and knew what she was reliving at that moment. He was going to have to work with her on that, a pawn that went into a flashback whenever she was touched was not a good pawn.
