" An alternate dimension elf who lived in Siberia huh? Now you have my interest. Do you know when she gets to the school? It seems like her and I would get along pretty well, given all the info I know about her."

"When her application gets accepted," Marissa continues. "She's probably around the school in case. Or she could already be here. One of her powers is stealth."

"No," Popppy denied. "Anton wouldn't hurt me..." She shivered. Would he?

No. No! He wouldn't.

"I'm not sure," Kadus said, concern in her voice. "I know boys like that. They pretend they like you, suddenly everything you say is the worlds most interesting thing. Then they start to mock you...then they hurt you. I think he's on the mocking stage already, the way he says he'll build a barrier around your plants...he's no plan to do that. Think about it...it's in the gym. A barrier would just stop people exercising. He thinks he owns you now, since you believed it...now he's just going to break your heart."

Poppy stared down at herself, frowning thoughtfully.

...maybe she's right.

I'm not...

I'm not the sort of thing anyone would want, not really. Not even my parents wanted something like me.

And now...

After what I've lost.

What good am I?

"...no..." she said weakly, trying to convince herself almost as much as she was Kadus. "No... he'd never..."

Kadus put herarm around her comfortingly.
"I'm sorry," she said softly, managing to create a seriously sorrowful look in her non-organic eyes. "But I've seen it before. He isn't a nice person...at all. He's the worst kind."

Poppy started to cry, leaning into the other girl, desperately seeking comfort and finding none.

"I... I don't wanna... get hurt..." she wept. "I don't want to get hurt again..."

She felt like she was going to drown in her own tears. Only a few minutes ago she had felt so free.

Now... now she felt like she'd been chained back to the wall of the torture room and left trembling, waiting for her punishment.

Waiting for her nightmare.

He hasn't really talked to anyone either, he's been busy just observing. He hasn't really been to the places the other students have either, he's been minding his own and liking it.

He passed a tree and looked at it, he then went over and climbed it, finding a nice little spot he could read his book. He liked reading about the past, about great villains and great heroes, getting to know the story better of the past. But today he pulled a book out of his satchel about the ocean. He had a hobby of taking a break from villains and such and just reading about wildlife and the creatures in the ocean and what lay beneath it. He opened to the first page and began to read about the depths of the ocean.

Venus was slightly impressed at the size of the school, as it was much larger than the other schools she had attended on her mother's agenda. Her excitement was drowned out by the guards and the many students that seemed to be obsessed with violence, and the amount of lust that she had noticed circulating around the minds of the students. She had already memorized the locations of important rooms in the school, her photographic memory and brain allowed her to do that with ease. She was searching for her contact, one of her friends, Marissa, who she met while in Portugal, but she was unfortunately unable to find her.

She had moved into a vacant room nearby the courtyard, where she could get a nice view of the artificial trees and the sunrise. Artificial or not, she still enjoyed the view...listening to classical music and just staring at nature was one of her many ways of relaxing. And the room was far away from...love. She wished that she could love love, but her brother dying, the things those men had done to her when she was walking home school...no. Love was a pitiful human construct, its only purpose to control the population. True love was an accomplishment.

She had changed her clothing into more exercise-friendly ones, slipping on a pair of shorts and a T-shirt. The ligher clothing exposed her well-toned, muscular, and thin frame, and revealed some of her perfect bodily proportions, some that seemed to perfect for a human (but she controlled love and beauty). She grabbed her tennis bag, which contained her racket, her badminton racket, and various birdies and balls, strapped it on her back, and walked out into the airship's courtyard, searching for the tennis courts.

Stephan was halfway through his book when he noticed someone, rather, a female walk around the ship just outside of the artificial trees he was in. He closed the book and put it in the satchel, he moved slightly to the balls of his feet and bent his knees, a normal pose for him when he was observing someone from afar. He moved a few branches with his long thin, pale fingers and watched closer, observing how she walked and held herself. Very nice indeed, too bad I'm not much of a talker. More of a.. what the women use.. ahh, stalker. He smiled slightly and noticed she had a bag on her back.

He jumped for a branch, grabbed it and swung down, landing on his feet and bending back into the position he was in the tree, on the balls of his feel, kneeling. He pondered thoughts, bouncing them around in his head, deciding on what to do with this... person before him that he was so curious about. He sighed and walked out of the forest and followed her, he then noticed what she was wearing. Must be into sports, too bad I don't do sports. He was more curious than ever and wanted to know more. He stopped for a moment and then shook his head and continued to follow her, wondering what it was she was doing and or looking for. His cloak, fluttering in the wind, his hair pulled back by the wind.

Venus had hardly noticed the footsteps and the rustling of leaves behind her. She was listening to some music through her bluetooth headphones as she walked, and the constant cycle of her right leg going forward, followed by her left leg, and so forth had almost took her into a hypnotic trance. But of course, her music would never drown out anything, it was classical music after all. On a particularly long measure with many rests, she heard the rustling of leaves behind her. Pretending to not take notice, she slows down significantly before her mind starts to analyze her surroundings, scanning the emotions of all nearby organisms.

There was a figure in the leaves behind her, seemingly watching her. His arousal and lust levels were low, that was good. She didn't want a repeat of what happened to her when she was younger. She stops completely after she finishes, before stating out loud "Whoever you are, please reveal yourself."

Physically inept. She wasn't so sure about mentally.

Blank stares back, my favorite. He noticed her analyzing him already and noted it down. She was an interesting person to follow and read. He didn't really want to say anything but his grandfathers words on treating a woman echoed through his head. He was more of a lover than a fighter, even though he had no past relationship experience. He knew the drill and brought his hand out from behind his back, his fingers long and thin, his fingernails clean and trimmed. He waited silently until she would put her hand in his. He kept pace with her though and dared not move his eyes from hers.

His arousal levels were increasing, she noted. He appeared to be very interested in her now, but the feeling wasn't mutual. He might be the first person she used her powers on since she arrived at the school. His mind was bustling with emotion, no doubt thinking about her. She had watched him intently as he pulled out his hand, seemingly expecting her to shake it.

She didn't, but held the gaze. "Are you a mute?"

James calmly grins "Seems great. I'm looking forward to meeting her. Wonder if that other student Venus has landed yet actually?" He rolls his eyes at Marissa's and Karl's romantic talk muttering something about gagging himself with a spoon so that he didn't have to listen to their flirting any longer.

And I thought I was mean. Huh... He heaved a deep inward sigh and removed his hand from her presence to behind his back where the other one was and locked his hands together. He took a step back from her and bowed slightly. "I am Stephen Hawks, my lady." his voice deep, like a rolling sea. His eyes never let hers and he stopped examining her for he had already analyzed her. He stood back up, his face still a blank expression, his eyes having calmed and less intense as before. He stood, still as a statue, waiting, and watching. The wind having stopped completely and a few thin white clouds coming into view from above.

Coilin, having heard over the intercoms that the Etas were back, nodded goodbye to Sal and rolled out of the shooting range. He had little time to think before he got there.

So... Lie to her about telling Sal or let Sal tell her went he wants to manipulate her?

Possible castration now, or certain later?

Possible. Have to go with possible.

He entered the hanger.

Saira blinked as she got out of the VTOL and pointed at Coilin. "Is that the wheelchair guy you were telling me about?"

"Yes," Raven replied with a smile, meant both for Saira and Coilin.

"Coilin," she said calmly, "this is Saira. Saira, Coilin. Please don't try to kill each other."

"I dunno... She looks quite kill-able." Coilin said with a smile, and then stuck out his hand. "Coilin MacAengus. Pleasure."

"Uhm... Saira al-Shah... No speak... Good English." Saira replied, shaking his hand.

Coilin nodded, understanding, and then looked at Raven.

He blinked.

"Natalya, you're hurt..."

"It's not a problem," she said dismissively. "I was wounded during single combat with the latest addition to my blacklist."

Saira... has a past very similar to mine.

...Let's just say I freed her in the same way I freed myself.
