"This шлюха can fight back."

Saira poked her shoulder. "I don't think you know how rockets work... Just... don't cut it through the middle. It'll explode." she said quietly, and then leaped to the side.

Here came the rocket.

She pulled something small from her belt and stared at it, thinking, Here goes nothing, before slamming it against the wall and pulling Saira through the hole it left. I never thought I'd be doing this, but thank you, Wrench.

As Raven grabbed the back of Saira's shirt and pulled her the opposite direction through the wall, Saira had an interesting moment. She watched as the rocket glided past her, right in front of her head, past her eyes. And then she was gone, as well as the rocket.

The bullet collided with the incoming rocket, exploding and causing more damage to the generators and power plant. It also blew everyone that was on their feet off of them, including Abrir.

It was far too easy for a shapeshifter to survive such a blast. A moment after he'd fired, wings sprouted from his back, ready to ensure he'd rise up fastest when he was inevitably knocked over...and he did.

He walked over to the guard, and stood on his stomach: and having a 7 foot tall mound of muscles standing on you was generally regarded by most as painful indeed.

Orson was knocked off of his feet with ease, hardly quick enough to tell Mattias that firing his rifle would be a bad idea. "AGH!"

Shrapnel from the explosion had rebounded all across the hallway, the spread and velocity of the heated shards of metal more than likely causing major damage to anyone who managed to be struck by one. Unfortunately, Orson was one of these unlucky fellows. He rose his forearms up to cover his face from the light and debris of the blast, but, nonetheless, the protection was useless -- He should have used his powers to avoid the attack, but everything had simply moved too quickly. A morsel of metal skittered upon the floor for only a brief moment before bouncing off, its path of flight directed at Orson's abdomen. It pierced the flesh with little to no effort, embedding itself in a pocket nearby his stomach.

"AAAH! FUCK!"

Multiple pieces had also landed in his forearms, and the pain had proved to be overwhelming to his senses. On the floor, he was now panting profusely. His gaze was solely on the wall to his side, a deepened scowl drawing itself across his visage.

Slow moving streams of blood made their way down the newly made wounds and onto the floor.

"Aaaaugh . . . " He groaned.

Mattie recovered quickly, using the jolt as suitable jump to get his wings beating as he rose into the air.
He smiled, hoping to get this over quickly as he lifted up a fallen brick that the rocket had left in its wake, which he through with extreme force towards the mans face. Even as he did this, he aimed at his legs and lower body, firing a few quick rounds from his gun.

I believe that madness can find more madness, and that every ounce of madness has a spark of truth. And truth, as you know, has a way of depressing people who don't want to find it.

No one is 100% honest... We all keep 20% of the truth from the world, to protect ourselves & sometimes others.

Abrir rolled out of the way, and then sprinted for cover, making minute changes in his course to dodge the bullets. He was a veritable super soldier, able to dodge bullets and run that fast. He made it behind a wall, and looked around. He picked up an AK from one of his fallen comrades.

"Salaam, brother..." Abrir said to the dead man, and then waited patiently for his enemies.

"He almost blew me up! I'm killing him."

He shadow moved forwards, it's hands forming blades and getting ready to slice Abrir's head off.
Raven tossed a star in his direction, one of the unpoisoned ones.

In this state, no one got between her and her kill.

He smiled, hoping to get this over quickly as he lifted up a fallen brick that the rocket had left in its wake, which he through with extreme force towards the mans face. Even as he did this, he aimed at his legs and lower body, firing a few quick rounds from his gun.

"Come and face me," she hissed, and then started moving with the lightning-fast speed she was trained to use.

Two opponents, each with a vendetta blazing in their souls that had consumed them utterly.

Except for one of them, it was personal.

He moved another piece to take advantage of Sal's 'mistake'.

"What strategy? I never have one. And honestly... I'm being on Benedicta to kill the arsonist, but for the arsonist to kill him in the end. Personally..." Salazar moved a bishop to a protected side for check. "...I don't even think Seamus makes it there in time."

"Hah! Seamus will be there three days before he needs to be. He needs to set up his roost, after all. A sniper needs his time and preparation. Like a fine wine..." Coilin said, moving a rook to protect his own.

Abrir popped out for a few seconds, firing his gun at the girl, before moving to a new position.

"Oh, that won't help you," she said with a laugh, slicing several of the bullets in half and ducking under most of the rest. Except for one unfortunate bullet that caught her in the shoulder. She wasn't happy about that.

She kept closing in on him, waiting for the opportune moment to strike him down.

Zayne easily deflected the star with an energy blast. His shadow moved in front of her to stop her from moving forward.

"Get out of my way or I'm killing you too!"

He then sent a energy blast towards the wall he saw Abrir move behind, definitely powerful enough to blow a hole through it and him if Abrir didn't move and if he did move, he would be equally dead because Zayne's shadow would chase after him,

Mattie moved overhead, attempting to position himself to make Raven a human shield as he tried to angle behind Abrir. He would not meet his match in some backwater; he assured himself of this. Abrir would have to die, and Mattie would enjoy it.

Abrir ran down a long hallway, peppering shots behind him, eventually reaching the end and turning a corner for protection. He kept firing shots down the hallway, knowing she was coming.

Orson kept himself awake for as long as he could in his state. He scrambled up to his feet, placing his back and elbows to the wall for support. Blood still stained his gray polo shirt, and the wounds were still rather painful. Desperate, he contemplated ripping them out using his telekinetic powers. However, he still retained some strength, it would seem, and so he decided against the notion.

He now honed his sights on Saira, squinting his eyes. A voice, weary and weakened, would appear in her head, unless she somehow had a strong mental blockade.

"Leave them be. They'll handle whatever needs to be done. Can you help me? Please? I need assistance."

Orson hoped that the message would be received by her, closing his eyes as the pain continued to gradually register.
