Karl looked less panicked slightly, but he wasn't reassured. When he began to lift Marissa up, he was immediately struck by how cold she was, but he began to help Avia carry her to the operating room.

Zayne deflected the ice bolt with his sword and fired a dark energy bolt of his own at Blizzard's head. He then morphed his shadow armor into a separate shadow version of himself and they split up to attack Blizzard from two different directions.

Blizzard did something rather odd then--she created a man out of snow and sent him to battle the shadow warrior, while she went after Zayne.

"I don't want to risk losing you," Ice stated, watching as Benson quietly disappeared from the room, apparently heading back to his own room. Why do I care so much about one person? I'm supposed to be a killer... GRU made me into a human weapon, I haven't truly cared about anyone since... Since the day I killed my own friend.

Nikolai steps inside Avia's office, going to ask her about something when he notices Benson laying on her supposed roommate's unoccupied bed, looking fatigued.

"Sorry about working you," Niko apologizes. He rejuvenates Benson, remedying some of his fatigue. "Anyway," he tosses him the Memory Analyzer, "you should see Marissa's thought process. She was pretty erratic even before poison...thinking about suicide, feeling guilty about you and Karl, thinking that you and her mom would be glad if she was dead..."

Avia steps up from her chair, proclaiming that her job was done. Stepping out, she goes to ask Benson. "How was the rest?"
