Well, right now, I'm exhausted.

So I don't know about you, but I'm going to sleep. Probably for a while. Good night, Coilin.

Coilin sighed and fell asleep with her, happily doing so with someone for the first time in... eleven years.

Sabrina had been quite busy, taking out guards and after having found the place's armoury, seeding the entire base with explosives all wired to one controller. She had a newly acquired backpack which was designed for carrying around an assassin's equipment, and in it was everything she had grabbed from the armoury, except for the two machine guns she was now carrying, a sash which had grenades tucked into elastic holders with throwing knives next to them, and a combat knife stuck in her right boot.

A burst of machine gun fire dropped another guard, and she marched on after sticking a explosive in his mouth before moving on. For a while there was nothing, someone had already dealt with people along the hallway she was taking. Further down there was gunfire, and so she decided to hurry up and catch up to them.

Turning around a corner, she arrived at the center of the lair. "Hey Zayne, having troubles?" Heafting her guns to point at both of the enemies, "egen though Anastasia's their leader, who do you thank is more powerful in up front combat? That ice is pretty darn good looking, gotta be handy to be able to make it during the summer when it gets all hot and sticky, hey Blizzard, how good's your freezing stuff, because if you can make that wall, why didn't you just freeze this guy?"

However by that time Zayne was already attacking, and she decided to to simply let him fight it out with Blizzard, if Blizzard won it'd be her turn next. Deciding to stay a while, she took off her looted equipment so she wasn't lugging around a backpack. "Hey Anastasia, you got any other supers on speed dial or something? I heard you have a few more tricks and I'm curious as to what they are."
Broadside dead ahead!

No, this comment is not meant to be sarcastic.

Zayne deflected the ice bolt with his sword and fired a dark energy bolt of his own at Blizzard's head. He then morphed his shadow armor into a separate shadow version of himself and they split up to attack Blizzard from two different directions.

Benson just sighed and nodded, picking up Geisha and running her to the infirmary before doing the same with Marissa. He leaned against the wall to rest, when Ice entered the room. "What's her condition?"

"Stable. For now," Benson said. "I can't say how she'll be long term."

Ice nodded, standing next to Geisha without a word. It's my fault for getting her into this... Why is it that something terrible always happens to my friends?

"Wait a minute," Nikolai calls before he leaves. He stares at the vial of blood with a look of confusion.

Avia sighs, stepping away from her desk. She looked orientation day better, heck, she liked the day where they were searching roommates better. Even though she arrived late. And didn't get a roommate.

There was so much work to do now...not that she didn't like it. But she was by herself in the infirmary, or she considered herself to be. The other staff were lazy, like most of the people who worked at the academy, and she was forced to do most of it herself. Nikolai would stop by once in a while, but like he said, 'I'm a healer, not a doctor.' Since they were younger, he did teach her how to heal a bit, and they still did, but he was getting busier. Into that Allison girl...who Avia hadn't talked to yet. Her attempts to teach him medical procedures had never worked. He claimed to be not interested.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on her door. Without bothering to go open it, she calls out "It's open."

"Avia...my last name is a bit too long but you can find it on the door," she responds smiling. She was about to go help move Marissa when he stumbles on the wall. She rushes to him, helping to steady him as he wobbled on the wall. "How much work did Niko make you do?" She asks, before leading him deep inside her office into her real rooms. She taps a bed, saying "Take a rest, Benson. I have an extra one." She pauses, feeling his heartbeat. "Because nobody wanted to room with me. They thought I would get them sick...in both ways," she adds, sadly. The sadness was fleeting, however, as she stood up and said "Get some rest! Don't think of leaving!"

She starts to go back into the infirmary to retrieve Marissa. Let's see if anyone can help me...

Karl's situation had not been good since he'd decided to enter the base. He'd been with Kadus, granted, and Kadus was a good fighter. They'd been kept busy though, oddly: they were now facing off against 5 guards, odds had been pretty similar all the way through.

And so it was that when he received the text message he wasn't able to rush back straight away.

20 minutes after receiveing the message, Karl was finally able to show up. He entered the infirmary, a look of near-panic plastered across his face, a look which turned tinto one of concern when he saw Marissa.
With relief, he spotted Avia entering the infirmary, and turned around to face her.
"What's going on?" he asked, breathing heavily from what had been pretty much a sprint all the way back from the base.
