James carefully twirls his dual swords, casually walking through the base. The attack had finally begun, and not one moment too soon. He looks around, looks like they were easily winning this fight. Hopefully he wouldn't miss any of the action. With a small grin, he slowly moves around, trying gto find something of interest to fight.
behold, a signature.

Charlia wrote:Everything was a blur.

Just a hazy fuzz of color around her. The blueish-white of the lights, the gray of the room, the silvery steel beneath her, the black of her ripped-open shirt and the opaque green of the tubes running into her chest... and the red of blood. Why was she bleeding? A pool of blood was collecting around her prone body, and she couldn't figure out where it was all coming from.

All she knew for sure was pain.

Coilin blinked, stopping.

He had passed over Raven's mind while scanning, and felt the pain, and hurt, the situation she was in.

And he just got even more furious.

"Damn bastard! I'm going to kill you... No... I'm going to make you suffer..." he yelled, turning his chair around and redirecting his path towards Raven.

She'd heard commotion, but she couldn't get up. She was strapped down, and anyway she was far too weak.

She wondered what was going on. Was one of the captured students trying to escape? Or maybe someone had come to rescue them.

She didn't know. She just knew that after a thousand refusals to rejoin Madame Anastasia and a thousand encounters with Flint that she had somehow managed to endure the horrors of, she had been given up on and left to die.

Alone.

"Natalya!" Coilin screamed, hurrying through the halls, "Natalya! Stay awake! I'm coming!"

He desperately pushed his chair, cursing it for being so constrictive. He wanted to run to her, he was sure that it would be faster, yet he was stuck in this damn chair!

He growled, skidding to a stop in front of a door, trying to open it.

Entering the fight, Nikolai was slightly confused as to what was going on. He noticed Coilin, on his wheelchair, trying to go his fastest. Nikolai decided to bless him with speed, sending him faster to his destination. Probably his "Morrigan", Nikolai thought. He wandered into another corridor, seeing a new student getting triple-teamed.

"Well," Nikolai called out. "That's not fair. He blesses the Earth they are on, causing it to slowly heal his allies that stood within the vicinity of the circle, and caused some slowness and nausea in the enemies.

"What's your name?" Nikolai asks the cyborg, as he rejuvenates her with a heal.

Flint's mind had a stronger 'signal', as he was closer.

The things in his mind, the things he had done to Raven, were...

Disturbing. To put it mildly.

Coilin immediately started assaulting his mind, trying to break him, to turn his psyche to clay to be played with.

He inserted memories of torture, the same ones he did to Raven, but only it wasn't him torturing. He was being tortured.

Rape, with him as the victim.

Hate.

Sadness.

Rage.

Depression.

Everything Coilin could think of in his rage.

Coilin smiled. I'll leave you like that, you piece of shite. And when I find you... you're dead.

He entered the combination.

The door opened, revealing Raven lying on a metal slab, her shirt ripped open and several tubes inserted into her torso, ranging from between her collarbones to directly beneath the ribcage. She was wounded, blood pooling slowly around her, her skin even paler than usual due to the heavy loss of blood.

She didn't turn her head to see who it was. She was too weak, and anyway, it was probably just that Flint had come back in another attempt to make her give in.

She was not generally thankful for Karl's cybernetic powers, especially the one that allowed him to realise that inside Kadus' head was a computerised thing that was half computer and brain. It let him read it, communicate with it...attempting to control it led to a trained assassin who was very angry pinning him up against the wall. When Karl came in, however at a run, she was thankful that he'd been literally reading her mind as he simply targeted the nightmare creature with his gun and fired a long stream of bullets towards it.
Geisha pulled her arm back and made a hasty retreat, returning to Madame Anastasia's quarters to warn her.

Coilin was horrified, but he knew that he had to get her out of there. He looked around for anything that could seal her wound, and possibly something that could explain what the hell the tubes where doing.

No luck--the only medical instruments in the room were things like scalpels and others that could be used to harm.

She was so dizzy. Everything was just gray now. No other colors, just total monochromatic blurs.

Coilin reached out his mind, locating Nicolai. NICO! Get here now! Raven needs you! he thought, rolling over to her.

He looked around, trying to determine what the tubes were doing.

"Anastasia-sama," Geisha said, bowing deeply, "Ice-chan has returned."

"Good..." Anastasia said coldly. "Stay out of sight. If she resists, feel free to kill her."

A semitransparent white liquid began to ooze from the tubes and--mixed with blood--from where they had been inserted, and her eyes became a little more alert.

"Hmm...?" she moaned. "...no more, please... there's no point... won't give in... no matter how many times..." A tear slipped down her cheek. "...no more..."

Ice burst into the room where Anastasia was, both guns raised. She could feel the drug rushing through her body, but instead of fighting it, she embraced it, letting it heighten her senses until her vision became hyper sharp and she felt like she could make any shot that she wanted. "You lied to me," she said, perfectly calm and emotionless. "And now you're going to pay for it, puta," she added, slightly more angrily.

Nikolai stops helping Kadus as he receives the message. "The zone should be enough," he says, as he rushes off.

He finds Coilin, and a battered Raven in the center of the room. He winces, before placing his hand on her chest and began healing her, repairing the damaged parts of her body.

This wouldn't do though, Karl decided. Their were still more assassins in the base, and it was 3-to-2. They should have superior numbers: where they were however was another thing entirely.
Knowing that it probably wouldn't work, he began to play with Benson's laptop again, creating a chat box which replaced whatever he was doing.
Benson, it's Karl. Kadus is pinned down with 3 hostiles. I'm getting towards her but we need backup. Oh...and if you don't lend a hand it won't be you who's mad.

With Geisha's retreat, he and his "pet" had been left to deal with two enemies. The nightmare beast snarled as bullets rocketed towards it, the many-legged abomination veering left and right with surprising speed to avoid some of them, and whilst a number bit into its scales, others that hit at an indirect angle careened off of the scales. The creature leapt towards the boy that had come to aid his first opponent, and who had shot at it. The beast's two mouths opened, revealing an array of fangs and spikes. A dozen spikes shot from those mouths, arcing towards the boy.

Maria, meanwhile, began firing bursts from the SIG 552 towards the girl. As Geisha had disappeared, so to did Maria decide to retreat as he fired. The Romanian assassin disappeared behind a nearby corner, his seemingly expressionless countenance unchanging as he began thinking how best to carry out Madame Anastasia's will. He knew what failure meant, and that was best not thought about.

"Now, Ice," Anastasia said calmly. "Do you really think you can just get away that easily? You know what life is like. You can get away from me, but you'll always serve one master or another."

Nikolai stops helping Kadus as he receives the message. "The zone should be enough," he says, as he rushes off.

He finds Coilin, and a battered Raven in the center of the room. He winces, before placing his hand on her chest and began healing her, repairing the damaged parts of her body.

"Hmm...?" she moaned. "...no more, please... there's no point... won't give in... no matter how many times..." A tear slipped down her cheek. "...no more..."

Coilin threw the tubes down to the ground and wiped her tear away. "Shh... it's okay Raven... it's over... it's done... I'm here."
"...Coilin..." she whispered. "I... I'm sorry... I couldn't stop him... I couldn't stop any of them... I'm so... so..."

Coilin nodded his thanks to Nikolai.

"She needs to go rest in the infirmary," he remarks. "Wouldn't be the best time to bring her there, but it would be better than letting her lay exposed."

"Anyways, I'll watch outside for any assassins." He steps outside, wishing Raven a good recovery in Russian as he does so.
