The only thing left was to get out, and neutralize any threat along the way.
That's right..... Neutralize all threats.
With that, he began searching the hallways, his eyes darting around for any sort of map. No luck there. Soon, he would find himself in what can be presumed as the torture rooms. Apostol began to think, prior to getting ready some stun grenades in his free hand, then kicking in a random door. Despite knowing this, the Bulgarian-American let the loud noise of the door slamming into a wall. Going in, he scanned the room with his pistol, his sights resting on Salazar strapped to the wall. Apostol could only look at him, as if waiting for him to say something.

Grinning, Salazar looked upon his disposed torturers. "I warned them, I truly did. Note look where that got them." Bringing his gaze to apostle, he motioned with his head to the things holding him. "Note please, get me off of them damn wall. It's giving me a real crick in the neck."

Apostol only nodded, holstering the pistol in his hand, while he walked over with the same expressionless face. Grabbing hold of the restraints, he pulled it apart, which should have effectively release Salazr from his containment. Done with this, Apostol just as quickly drew the handgun with him and placed on Salazar's free hand, then equipping himself with the designated marksman rifle. It was all wordless.
The Bulgarian-American next took out a magazine from one the magazine pouches and loaded into the gun in his hand, racking the bolt to chamber a round in.

"Well, hello," a voice said from behind him.
A Japanese woman, her hair tied back, her face painted white, and her tactical outfit styled after a kimono, was standing in the doorway, using her abilities to reach into their minds and attempt to enslave them to her will, with every word she spoke.
"If I were you, I'd just put those guns down..."

I should've stayed a lone wolf, saved myself from the heartbreak. But no, I just had to have a crush on a girl, and a Delta at that...

She calls out after Benson, "Wait, Benson!"
She follows him, telling Karl that she will be back. Miguel told her where he went. To their room.
Entering the room, she searches for him before finding him in his room. Sitting next to him, she says softly "Benson...are you okay? I-I'm sorry..."

"I'm not okay," snapped Benson, before closing his eyes. "I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at him... Waiting to make a move on you until I got kidnapped. I wish I could say I was fine, but this is what I get for trusting someone..."
This is all my fault. I couldn't have gotten hurt if I didn't put myself in that position...

She flinches slightly at his outburst. "I-I'm still sorry... I..." Her voice breaks off awkwardly.
Breaking the silence, she asks, "Do you hate me?"

"I'd say I didn't, but that would be a lie," Benson said quietly, before getting up and picking up his helmet from across the room, and picking up his laptop also. "I think I'm going to find another room to stay in. I wouldn't want it to be awkward for us, staying in the same room and all," he said, putting the helmet on and moving towards the door. "I guess Karl can move in to replace me, I'm sure you two will be happy about that."

Marissa forced herself not to tear up when he admitted he hated her. Another one. For how fast she made friends, it seemed that she lost them as fast.
She grabs his shoulder, pleading as she looks into his eyes. "Plea-Please Benson," she whispers, her voice cracking. Nearing tears, she continues, "I-I'm so sorry...please don't hate me...I want to still be friends. Please don't make it awkward between us."

Without knocking, he quietly walked in and over to her: she looked horribly sad...so sad it hurt him as well, even though he'd tried so hard all his life not to allow such emotions to hurt him deep down.
He put an arm around her shoulder and moved closer to comfort her.
"I'm sorry," he said simply, resting his head against hers.

Coraspia wrote:"I love you too," Karl told Marissa, smiling sadly and laughing humourously. "Don't know what help I can be in beating the assassins. Seems that when they get beaten, our lives got that little bit more awkward." He started for the door.

Coraspia wrote:"I love you too much to go dying," Karl said, smiling as he exited the room slowly.
Karl didn't know why he did it, but out of the corner of his eye he spotted Benson messing around on a laptop. He smiled, as all of a sudden the laptop crashed.
