Then the characters part of the rebellion just have to be too valuable then. Which leads to a new problem....who is considered "valuable goods"?

That's a good point. I'd like to think Anton is, after helping to save the school twice as well as his contributions to understanding other dimensions, but I'm obviously a little biased.

I agreed because I was thinking it would be Moore versus the school, not the Moore and part of the school versus the other part of the school. You really couldn't have them just not join?

Moore's agent, and Moore's granddaughter would definitely join.

Generally it's two categories, students that the school is studying(the cloning program is pretty extensive), or those who are game-breakingly powerful in combat. I don't think anyone in the RP is in the second category since those characters would all be incredibly OP. X and Milo from the first subplot are a weaker example of those characters.

I imagine Alice would be being (covertly) studied. She's not exactly a normal super, after all.

I mean....I would probably make a case for Davenport because of his traits in combat plus his ability to be "mind wiped" (Winter Soldier esque thanks to his bio.) But I'm willing to sacrifice him if we need the plot to continue.

And I imagine Loki would be gamebreakingly powerful.

Besides, if they tried to expel him, he'd just keep fighting, and stopping an immortal might be hard.

What if, instead of just killing them, the rebels were sent on suicide missions, missions still helping the League, but have very low levels of survival? That way they can stay in the RP, but still be punished.

Railguns, gauss guns, larger railguns, tactical nukes, someone who can depower others... I'm sure they could win and expel him if the school had to.

I actually agree to this kind of thinking. Suicide Squad style would be kind of cool. Like a prison sentence almost.

Well his last mode of defence would be to go back home and bring all his family out.

No, Moore wouldn't do that. Either we find a way to save the rebels, or this bit didn't happen.

The thing is, the school wouldn't have a reason to keep them alive. We haven't had any suicide missions either because concealing the League's activities is a pretty major thing, that's why the staff were so angry when the students uncloaked on one of the missions earlier.

I'm not retconning, if we don't go ahead with this plot I'm going to have the Jupiter blow the doors off the hangar and have Mercury override the lift to the runway so they can leave.

I don't care if they are or not. I'm just thinking of a way to keep the students in the RP if they rebel. They could be punished severely, then given magic/mechanic countermeasures if they try to misbehave again. Like a bio bomb in the brain or something. I honestly think a Suicide Squad thing would be a cool thing to have.

Or maybe brainwashing? Question has some powerful telepaths on his payroll, right?

Maybe they are kept around because the school doesn't want to waste talent? Super villains are hard to come by? Or maybe they're kept as test subjects for experiments and sparring practice? I'm just trying to think of ways so Coraspia can have his war.

Then Moore would just gas the dining hall and kill all the students, which no one wants.

Question has foresight tho so.... What would stop him from preemptively sending Derek and Jazz to kill Moore if that was going to happen.

That's probably what most of the students would expect so they probably came prepared for that.
I believe that madness can find more madness, and that every ounce of madness has a spark of truth. And truth, as you know, has a way of depressing people who don't want to find it.

No one is 100% honest... We all keep 20% of the truth from the world, to protect ourselves & sometimes others.
