Do it. The worst that can happen is that you have to make them an NPC for a bit.

I'm trying to find a good name for my witch. I'm struck between Beatrix (Triss) or Madeline (Maddie).

Hmm, what are some interesting powers I can use?

Well, you could do something that nullifies anything more techy than a simple machines as we have a magic nullifier but not a tech nullifier (Mel, but EMPs can be protected against.)

Here is my character I wish to enter into the fray...

Name: Celissa Iris Emerson

Alias: Grey Ghost

Age: 16 years old

Gender: Female

Appearance: In human form she is 5' 6'' and is mostly Caucasian in skin tone. She is skinny for various reasons, but not an unhealthy thin. Her hair is brown, but slightly red when the sun hits it just right. She had emerald hazel eyes. She has a long scar on the right side of her neck from a debilitating injury that should have either killed her or left her half alive, but she didn't, mostly because of the nature of her powers. She is a bit of a looker, but nothing incredibly special.

Hopefully I can provide a picture in the future.

Nationality: United States of America

Hometown: Just outside of McCall, Idaho, USA

Abilities(If any): Celissa possesses what is best known as the Transmorphic ability. In other words, the ability to 'shapeshift' into a Armored Knight (or rather, Angëtallica, the name that the purebreds of the species gave themselves), known around the world as a result of a hero simply known as, The Knight. They basically look like a cross between the Tenno from warframe and the gundam robots from the gundam animes, but mostly like the Tenno, expect with wings. Celissa's form appears sparse, thin, and deprived, yet has a haunting presence to it that inspires fear. The body is sharp and more organic looking than normal with odd green lights and a long lanky form that all most gives the impression of a cross between a spider and a panther. The armor is colored mostly in dull organic greys and blacks. In this form, Celissa has glowing green eyes and absolutely no hair, seeing as her entire human body has all but disappeared.

A typical Armored Knight has the ability to withstand most kinds of bullets and ammunition, hell, even most explosions. They are at least three hundred times stronger than the average human. With their wings they can reach speed of up to mach 6.4 (this varies widely between the strength of their armor and shields, most stay below mach 5.3). They have heightened senses of just about everything (including pain) and have superb night vision with some infrared and ultraviolet vision. They can also see more colors than a human can. They also have slightly more multitasking abilities than humans. They also have the ability to produce and control an energy known only as Radioactive Energetic Anomaly Power Waves (REAPW). An inexperienced Armored Knight (which most are) will use these waves more like sound waves creating quakes (small ones), force pushes, speed boosters, energy attacks, the ability to absorb ionizing radiation, and vibration shields, for the most part. It will take thousands of years until an Armored Knight is capable of using anything else, if they do in their young age, it could very well kill them. Oh, and did I mention that once the person first activates their powers they seem to completely stop ageing? No, it isn't because they have become immortal, its because the Angëtallica take millions upon millions of years to age. An average height for an Armored Knight is about 7'3''.

Celissa is unlike most Armored Knights. She has unusually thin armor that is only ten times stronger than a dragon skin vest. This leaves her at an extreme disadvantage when compared to other Knights. Though she makes up for her handicap with extreme speed and enhanced sight, reaction speed, and shielding ability. Instead of flying at a measly mach 6.4, Celissa can fly at around mach 12.7. While her armor can't protect her by itself, the shielding she creates with her REAPW powers is enough to protect her from the pressures. Her height in this form is 6'7''. Her wings in this form look like a combination between jet turbines and metallic feathered wings. She can also materialize blade claws from her fingers, but not from her thumbs.

Armored Knights are rare and considered dangerous by most nations and groups and this leads most with the ability to live either in isolation or as captured prisoners for experiment. Governments have yielded a rare prototype AK deterrent that uses electric volts to punch supper heated holes into a Knights large heart, straight through the armor. The weapon is highly secretive and in its testing phases, so far it can only be used once before destroying itself from the heat.

Besides fatigue and overloading their own powers, the only other known weakness (besides punching them really really hard) for a Knight is heat. Because of their armor, Knights have a tendency to overheat themselves, though because of biological cooling methods developed through evolution, it usually takes a couple of hours of exertion... in a temperate climate. If a Knight is in a rain forest or desert for example, they are pretty 'heated' within just an hour or two. Now, a Knight could dump its armor plating, but this leaves them as exposed as a normal human, but would cool them drastically. This would also leave them unable to absorb more energy for their REAPW powers as their wings as are also their energy absorbing panels (kind of like solar panels). To say the least, they basically become strange looking alien humanoids with their grey skin exposed.

The Transmorphic humans also have something else to worry about. The more they morph, the harder it becomes to change back to human form. This isn't noticeable for a few years, but eventually becomes especially apparent after about twelve years of steady transformations. More, or less, depending on transformation frequency. Even as this is happening, Transmorphic humans can literally feel their humanity slipping away with each morph. This is believed to be the main reason for the The Knight's (The first Transmorphic to ever appear) disappearance.

If you do have the Transmorphic ability, your clothes will not transform with you. Luckily, a military institution created a suit that can sort of phase out once transformed and phase back to cover one's human body without constricting an Armored Knight form. These suits are normally skin tight with mesh like armor plates over some vulnerable areas. Celissa wears one that she stole from a military base.

Bio: Born on a US military base in London, Celissa was used to moving around with her parents. Then, her mother, who was in the military, died while in service. Her father became distant and depressed, but luckly he managed to find another women. They moved from Georgia to Idaho when Celissa was about thirteen and she lived their with her father and step mother whom she loved as a daughter should. Tragedy struck though, when both her father and step mother where killed in a vicious gun shoot out when she was fifteen. The next year she spent getting into a bad crown until a former friend helped her out of her depression. Then, she decided to get revenge for her father and step mother. However, she realized too late that she was going down a road she could walk away from. She eventually got caught up with a deadly organization that was tyed to multiple gangs and criminal violence in both the US and Canada. They found out about her and in order to silence her, she was kidnapped and had a knife plunged in her neck. However, that was the worst mistake they could have made as her human death brought life to her Angëtallica form. She killed every member of the gang responsible for her father and step mothers deaths. She vowed to never again be weak.

Then she found out that her mother wasn't killed overseas, but rather in a military raid in the state of Texas that involved The Knight, whom may have killed her. She was also dragged into the government, but after discovering that they just wanted to use her for their experiments, she escaped, flying as far away as she can, even though she knows she can't escape them forever. She is now a figure in the night, waiting for her moment to strike.

Personality: She is mostly silent, letting her actions speak for her. She has little patience for others and considers everyone else either dumb or misguided. She is determine to perfect the art of killing with nothing but her claws in her Armored Knight form. She hides and collects many secrets in her mind, always observing others and blackmailing people to do her bidding. She is calculating and observant, though she is a bad at acting kind or gentle (or anything similar to those). She actually believes that she cannot feel fear. When she does speak it is usually to anger, frighten, terrorize, or demoralize people. She is somewhat sadistic. She also believes that she has every right to hurt people because she is on a 'mission.' Sometimes she will refer to a person as a "human" or "Fleshling" as if she thinks she is a part of a different species. She acts like a completely different person in her AK form, more refined and noble, but even more homicidal. While in her human form she can sometimes be heard talking to someone, but you can't hear the other person respond to her...

Preferred Class(Optional): Eta (I think this fits her best, not really sure)

Academy of Villains Application

Name: Beatrix Marigold

Age(Between 14 and 19): 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: Image
In Goddess Form
Image

Nationality: British

Hometown: North Cornwall

Abilities(If any): She knows the basics of all magical arts (spell craft, enchanting, alchemy, potion making, etc.) thanks to her bond with Hecate. But her specialties are adding or taking away properties, such as blessings, charms, hexes, and curses, as well as their counters and reversals. Blessings and curses are major changes to someone or something, and therefore take time and preparation. The bigger the outcome, the longer and more costly the spell is. Charms are adding a simple property to something, like making it move or change color. Hexes are basically minor curses, causing minor or irritating things to happen that won't lead to serious injury.

Due to her connection with Hecate, Triss can tap into Hecate's might when casting spells beyond her ability, which causes her eyes to glow a red-pink. She can understand any occult artifact, such as the writing of a scroll and how to use it. While her spells can be dampened and curses reversed, her base magic can never be fully nullified, allowing Triss to be able to constantly perform beginner spells even when bound in dimeritium shackles, a magic-nullifying metal.

If she ever gets to a point where she is near death, she will automatically morph into her Goddess Form. At that point, your best bet is to run, or have a bunch of powerful mages to counteract her. So how do you stop a literal goddess? Simple. You prevent her from entering the form in the first place. If the correct magical runes or spells are done, you can bind Beatrix to this dimension, preventing her from accessing her Goddess Form. The bonds can be broken with a few hours of meditation, but if the binding is followed by something Beatrix can't handle then you're good. She also rarely uses this form, finding it weird to be in the backseat of her own body, only doing it if she needs to converse with powerful magical beings that would listen better to a goddess then a mage.

Bio: As per usual, will be expanded in the IC.

Triss was originally meant to be a conduit for the return of the Greek goddess, Hecate. But something happened. During the incantation, her mother sneezed, causing the spell to change. Hecate did successfully bond with Triss, but it was Triss who was in control, much to the chagrin of her parents and the goddess. But she refused to let that bring her down. She instead struck an agreement with Hecate. She would dedicate her life to learning magic, eventually finding a way to give Hecate her own body, in exchange for the ability to absorb the knowledge faster than humanly possible. Hecate agreed, and Triss soon began to dabble in the mystic arts.

She was friends with a certain Valerie Lockhart, as they both went to the same school and both were involved with the theater group. Though she didn't have Val's talent as an actress, she was good with the effects, prop, and set construction, able to create them "as if by magic." One time while performing a charm, Val witnessed it, and asked to taught magic. Triss agreed, and the two grew closer still. Triss knows Anton in passing, liking his chivalrous nature and pursuit of knowledge, but heard some less then stellar things from Val when the two split.

She eventually joined the Academy of Villains to gain access to their vast arcane knowledge, and to see her old friend once more. The last she heard, Val was joining for reasons she didn't disclose.

Personality: Loves learning magic and telling people about magic. Pouts when not allowed to study a new arcane artifact or if ignored. Likes to tease people, and play pranks with her magic, but always in good fun. If someone is actually hurt by her jokes or pranks, will try her best to make up for it. Is generally a very happy person and bubbly person, but if she gets the feeling that someone likes her she becomes incredibly nervous, often making a distraction while running off in the other direction clutching her hat. It's not that she doesn't like love. She loves seeing others and giving (usually poor) relationship advice. It's just for a girl who's learn secrets mortals aren't supposed to fathom, she's really bad at understanding love.

Preferred Class(Optional): Beta

MBTI(Optional):

There. She's done, and I hope she'll be more fun to play. At the very least, she'll be involved with Anton's and/or Val's story.

EDIT: I'm also calling dibs on the leader of the League of Villains Antarctic branch. It consists of one guy who was so powerful, the League messed with his mind to make him crazy, then sent him to take over Antarctica to be out of everyone's hair. He's afraid of leaving his fortress, as he's convinced there are snowflake assassins out there waiting for him. He's currently in the process of making an army of semi-intelligent penguins with cybernetic enhancements, and fighting a war against a hyper-intelligent octopus that evolved to survive the cold (his old pet) that is liberating the semi-intellegent penguins and training them to fight back.

…Maybe I shouldn't make characters with 3 hours of sleep...

I am going to split up my characters now. Cora, if you want, you can send that guy who turns people to stone to fight Mimic, it would be an interesting fight. Mimic looks like a normal guy, standing five foot six, who wears black clothes, and a mask. The mask is white and covers most of his face, except for his right eye. The mask has a thin, red grin on it and a glowing purple light surrounds the masks eye.

I want to save Raven until Charlia comes back, so Raven can reunite with Raven.

And finally, Makya will be open for interaction, if anyone wants to interact with the Wendigo.

I'm thinking of creating a really OP character, but one who has absolutely no willpower. So she'll add some unpredictability to all of this, because if someone tells her to attack a certain person she just will.

All Mimic needs to do in order to shapeshift is think. So he will be able to get out. Besides, if there was no way out, it wouldn't be interesting. Also, how does this fella turn people to stone? How does the power work? On contact? Eye contact?

Oceanic Branch
Academy of Villains Teacher Application

Name:Illuka Pitjantjatjara

Alias: ...

Age: Appears younger than he looks, but he's around 9000 years old

Gender: Male

Appearance:
Image

Take this guy and remove the bushy eyebrows and the prominent ears

Subjects Taught: N/A

Nationality: Aboriginal-Australian

Hometown: Unknown

Abilities/Equipment:
  • Druidic Magic: Illuka is a "shaman", not in the way that shamans refer to themselves as spiritual manipulators, but he's of the more elemental variants you would expect to see in MMORPGs and other games. One of the powers that this encompasses for him is druid magic.
  • Elemental Manipulation: gives him access to Elemental Pillar Manipulation
  • Animation: A power he gains access to by his parents, stray Aboriginal magicians who could manipulate the movement of inanimate objects, and his primary use for this is carving totems, which he has control over with Puppet Mastery.
  • Enhanced Condition: Is stronger than a normal human being, and has exceeded human age limits on his own will and other factors. Possesses Regenerative Healing Factor and a limited level of Intuitive Aptitude.

Bio: Illuka was born into a group of nomadic hunter-gathering Aboriginals around 9,000 years ago. His parents were stray magicians who nowadays would have been called "voodoo" practitioners. When he was ten, his parents and their supporters broke off from their main group, moving to live in the desert around the sacred Uluru. Both his parents and the supporters believed in their ability to survive, transitioning into a farming lifestyle. Of course, this wouldn't work, but staying still allowed them to pass their animation and totem carving abilities onto Illuka before they died. As Illuka crafted his first object, a Totem Golem, he came out to see his parents dead, not by dehydration and starvation (which got the others), but by violence. He was very angry, allowing him to unlock his elemental manipulation and druidy, connecting to the elemental world, he managed to locate his rivals through the eyes of a nearby flying hawk...CUE: Violence. He stopped aging physically at 23 years old.

A number of noteworthy events that will be described IC occurred later, before League of Villains representatives wanted to expand into Oceania. He took the calling, leading the Oceanic Branch.

Position within the League of Villains: Leader of the Oceanic Branch

Personality: Introverted as per his leadership ability, which he gained mostly on the spot but has refined enough. Ambitious to improve the state of the Oceanic branch due to its ranking as the weakest, but limitations of the region has made it hard to do so. Loves his totems, his a few constructs that follow him around or serve as members of his branch.

MBTI(Optional):

Academy of Villains Teacher Application

Name:Lisa Morosan

Alias: Veratrum

Age: Unknown

Gender: Female

Appearance:

Subjects Taught: N/A

Nationality: Demon? Succubus to be exact.

Hometown: None

Abilities/Equipment:

Bio: Lisa doesn't remember much about her life prior to be summoned into Uluru by two crazy Voodoo magic practitioners, only at an age that would convert to human years at eleven. The magicians took her in, and she would become friends with Illuka, who was hardly super at that time. She would see him develop into a remnant of his father, a powerful and calculating villain, especially around his parent's death. It was around this time that she was finally developing the rest of her "succubus" traits, and she cornered Illuka while he slept, "mating" with him in every sense of the word and having him mark her which would diminish her feelings towards other males while increasing the "happy" emotions that she would feel around him.

Position within the League of Villains: Co-leader

Personality: Her nature makes her very introverted, especially with males, although she would never engage in acts of a sexual nature not with Illuka.

MBTI(Optional):

Alias: ...

Age: Appears younger than he looks, but he's around 9000 years old

Gender: Male
