Kirito would be piss easy for Lios to defeat.
Let's remember that Kirito only killed people three times and felt so bad about it that he needed to cry it out for an entire season.
Not again considering the level gap between the two.

Kirito is a boy, Guts is a mercenary. It's obvious that there would be a big difference between the two.

That far I know.
But in this world, Charlia tells me that Noblemind could defeat Lios.
No, it's just not possible, Lios is a battle hardened champion duelist that handled just about any battle.

Now, I wouldn't call it impossible she'd defeat Kirito, even in his SAO arc into which he's the most untouchable.
Noblemind could easily overpower Kirito, from the stance that she doesn't care anymore.

However, Lios would have serious trouble against Guts who is not only a mercenary but doesn't care either, killing is what he does for a living just like Lios.
It'd either end on a draw for the both of them or Guts winning.
The matchup is extremely bad for Lios as he is mostly a speed based fighter.
He's a glass cannon in the real world.

Not necessarily. What's most important in this game is the neuronal speed of the player's brain, and the knowledge of the sword skills. That was how Asuna, a girl who never touched a sword in her life, managed to become one of the best players in SAO. MMORPG factors must also be considered; a high leveled player mostly can't be defeated by weaker leveled players. It's about the skills and the level.

Now, since Lios is a duelist champion, he will indeed have an advantage. But not one that big as to make it impossible for Noblemind to defeat him.

Well the thing is, fighting against a rapier with a single edged sword is actually useful.
And since Lios's sword has holes against the flat of blade to made it easier to pull out, he can even take Charlotte's rapier and break it using this, it wouldn't be much of a stretch.

But even when taking Alrick out of the equation, the skill, normal speed and weapon knowledge Lios possesses far exceeds Noblemind's.
That's why I'm saying it'd be near impossible and also why he mocks her so much.
Not only has he suffered through training just as if not worse than Charlotte's life, but he also has the experience of actually killing someone without breaking down in the middle of the fight.

When you fight Lios it's basically as if you were fighting a highly intelligent animal with a sword.
Think Sif from Dark Souls but smaller and way worse.

Kirito is a boy, Guts is a mercenary. It's obvious that there would be a big difference between the two.

Which explains Kirito's wimpy behavior and Guts' tough-as-nails character.

Guts has gotten used to killing, if he even exists in SAO Universe, the whole ordeal would be a "same shit, different day" kind of thing for him.

Kirito, on the other hand, is a gaming-addict kind of boy who came from a rich background that has never exposed to any hardships. He took games as something virtual, "if you kill someone in a game, they'll continue to live, don't sweat it" was his mindset. When he was pressured in a situation that forced him to face the fact that in this game, it is "kill or be killed, and it's for real", he broke down.

Even so, if he started getting serious, there would be no way of hitting him at all, since it'd bring Alrick in the equation and the only capable of rivaling the speed gifted to him is Deren.

They both fought and it ended on a draw with both of them on the verge of dying.
It was like two falcon punches colliding.

I certainly understand that it would be hard for her, but I like to go on the fact that this is a video game, so nothing is impossible.

I meant by skill mostly but Lios is level 40, due to power farming in dungeons.

What does level difference change in SAO? Is it like normal MMORPG games or you get different bonuses?

That is what I'd like to point out. Despite being high-level players, thus having the better skill than other players, they can never kill anyone in a fight. Even with all the abilities they have, they can't accept the fact that "In this game, you lose, you die. You win, you live." Despite real-life experiences in a fight is not something that can be considered a skill in the game, the mentality is enough to assure the outcome of the battle.

Those who hesitates to kill, will die. Those who willing to kill just to survive, will survive, if they don't get killed first.

That is debatable. Those who don't care don't have a reason whatsoever, thus having no motive. And so, their survivability depends solely on their skills. Lower-level players would be easily toppled over by the same or higher-leveled players with a motivation, because motivation is the greatest weapon, system or not.

Yes.

The only requirements would be to own a NerveGear VR helmet, and to be in Japan at the moment the game was launched.

That is debatable. Those who don't care don't have a reason whatsoever, thus having no motive. And so, their survivability depends solely on their skills. Lower-level players would be easily toppled over by the same or higher-leveled players with a motivation, because motivation is the greatest weapon, system or not.

I meant by skill mostly but Lios is level 40, due to power farming in dungeons.

Also, how many skills can one have? I read that by level 20 a character would have 5 skill slots.

Also, I plan to have a custom skill to be judged with the char app :P
Russia's an idiot. So is the US, and quite a few of the western sphere. Population education and literacy is your issue, not the politics of foreign nations.
