Shadow's holding onto a Chaos Emerald.

So, Meta-Knight's wish for Kyubey to help them against Zalgo is fulfilled by Kyubey granting Meta-Knight new powers and healing him.

Said purifying powers can nullify Zalgo's corruption in addition to boosting Meta-Knight's stats when he's fighting Zalgo.

Also, meta-Knight should have a new outfit and magically conjurable weapons. The latter costs magic and the former is normal for all Magical Girls/Boys.

Definitely. Wouldn't be Meta-Knight otherwise.

I forgot to mention, the purification is specced specifically against Zalgo so it should work no matter what level the Corruption is at. You can alsp purify other corruptions like toxins, blight, grief etc. but those take more effort and cost more magic and will require active concentration instead of the passive effect against Zalgo.

The emeralds were sent all over the multiverse, and one ended up in the forest. Don't worry, it's not like James not what it is. I just didn't want to have the one with Shadow then have Guro get the rest. Trust me, I'm good with plot McGuffins if ATTM isn't evident.
