Welcome to the Quarterfinals, also known as the Fourth Round! This tournament is increasing out salt production to monstrous amounts, which is having a positive effect on our economy. According to an independent study, the gross domestic product has increased by 15.51% since February, foreign investment has increased by 21.18% and the average wages have doubled!

The statistics are expected to increase as the -finals are going to amp up salt production more and more.

Thats ABC logic. That is a flawed way of judging battles. Max's largest advantage is his mentality and condition in combat. I doubt that Otis is as well versed in the Omega Effect as Darkseid was.

Otis =/= Darkseid. After Darkseid died, his collective powers were distributed across the Earth and gave rise to New Gods during the Age of Man. People like Valancy became Goddess of Earth, Katie became Goddess of Electrons, Kazuko became God of Nature, etc etc. Darkseid's original power, the Omega Effect, went back to Apokolips where Otis managed to become it's new host. In my view, Max could hold his own for a while against Darkseid and ultimately be overwhelmed.
