Yeah. The issue is just that nobody makes properly made bronze kit anymore.G-Tech Corporation wrote:Hmm, I suppose if folks forgot how to make bronze, that might explain it being shitty and this roughly equivalent to iron.
My point was just that generalized cast iron doesn't have good weapon qualities, compared to bronze; it is both more brittle, has less tensile strength, and is less dense than tin-bronze, while requiring hotter fires to refine and being probe to corrosion. Properly made bronze kit is better than properly made iron kit.
But, if someone manages to take copper and tin mines, could be interesting...

Anyway, that reminds me;
Grim Reaper, you can't have the Maldives. Too early for such a far away naval thing.
Also, G-Tech, Liec, and Orson, you may have to edit your apps a tad as a result, but remember that you have not quite recovered to the heights of before the Late Bronze Age Collapse. You will soon though.Narintia wrote: grenades (30% larger)
Not the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch!

I dunno, but if there's anything in there other than technology (societal organisation, population, urbanisation, etc.) that is more advanced than pre-collapse stuff by much, lower it.

Nah. I'd guesstimate we're not there yet, except for bits and bobs of innovation brought on by collapse, like more militarized and centralization.
