On a completely random note, I'm pretty sure no matter what genre of music, Japan doesn't know how to NOT be weird. Seriously. Even without listening to any J-Pop and whatever the heck Babymetal is, I still found super weird stuff.

J-Pop is normal, and Babymetal is still alright, and the Japanese are just bold enough to make them public

I know a weird Japanese metal band (Okay, two), a weird...whatever these guys are, and a weird noise rock/punk band...

I think the only remotely normal band I know that is Japanese is Mono.

Okay, there are others, but they're less noteworthy to me (Though Mono ain't really that noteworthy, either). There's Boris which varies a lot and can be pretty weird, and various soundtrack people.

I'm sure that if one digs in to the recesses of Americans trying to erupt with their own unique brands, the number would be uncountable.

Then again it might be the cultural differences and difference in taste

The only thing so far which I find weird with Japan are their commercials @.@

You know, now that I think about it...(I'm a huge music nerd, okay, I know a lot of weird stuff):

Kayo Dot is pretty weird in general (Constantly experiments with his sound in weird ways)
Secret Chiefs 3 in a way, mainly because of changing constantly.

I kind of said in my post that Drake had gone with his siblings to class, basically like he'd gone down to get food before it was too late and met up with his siblings then, since there was time between my last post with Drake and the start of class.
