I did come up with a scenario which could end the Argonia/Morrowind war in a truce, but Enkara is going to be stuck in Elsweyr for a while. I'm also waiting for Dutch to either approve or veto my scenario.

Speaking of which, Enkara has finally reached the Ayleid ruins he was looking for and gotten himself into even more trouble. How deep is the doodoo? How high are the moons?

Would it be too unrealistic to have some dwarven tech at the front of the cave/grotto entrance? Some sort of dwarven version of a vault door with some intercom next to it that you have to press a button and then speak into, to get it to open, but is otherwise magically sealed?

I dunno if dwarves had intercoms or not. they had a lot of fancy confusing stuff.
If not then the intercom can be some sort of magic based thing.

A pipe that you have to lift the cover and speak into. You wouldn't have to be a Dwemer to build that.
