While that is actually relatively accurate the issue with that is that with food you can just buy it once and take it home and your done. With construction work it takes several months and you need to pay people over and over and over again.
If the food is 100 gold. you give 100 once and your done.
with construction you need to give the 100 gold to several people repeatedly until the job is finished.
My Breton isn't made of money. He has whatever amount he has. when its gone, its gone.

If you have learned the transmutation spell, you can turn iron into gold.

I haven't posted on him since the first post. Has anyone run across him or should he and his cute little kitty girl head into cyrodiil now?

They wont join in on the raiding but they wont attack if they don't feel the need to defend themselves.
The Breton is a scholar and the kitty is a little girl.

I thought this Breton was a mage...
I have a pretty good job opportunity for ya: you can be my battlemage! On my ship!
That is, if you want to.

One person's admiral is another's pirate.![]()
Titles don't mean much when your still raiding like a pirate on the side, and making a fleet full of pirates based off a pirate fleet legend.

He is not a mage. He is a scholar that knows a bit of magic to keep him alive.
And no he wont join pirates. He tries to stay in the legal side of things as much as possible.
He is a good boy. He only does bad stuff when he feels there is no other choice but to be naughty.
He doesn't want to be a bad influence for his daughter.

But half the fun is in breaking the rules!
And eventually, maybe, just maybe, what we're doing could be called..... "privateering." Because that's pretty much the deal with the Dominion we have atm.

It's not really an "if"
It's pretty much gonna be a "when"
Because if they win, the Dominion will probably turn on us (they're backstabbing elves, after all), and, if the Dominion loses, the Empire will probably crush us.
So yes, a contingency plan will definitely be necessary.

Don't worry, Garrak is an opportunist, writing was on the wall when I decided to work with the Dominion.

Not just on the wall.
All over the freaking wall.
It's like one of those walls covered in graffiti in the downtown of a city (if you've ever seen such a place, most likely not everyone has)
