My thinking is that the interception would take place roughly halfway between Seian and Dorusia going over the Antarctic. So, it depends on how fast Snowcat can get airborne.

The far southern portions of the Atlantic Ocean near the Antarctic coast. A desolate sort of place; isolated, with little more than ice and frozen waves. The evening is clear, and the moon is partially full, giving an almost ethereal quality to the remote airspace. Survival here is unlikely.

If we choose one of the red-named aircraft, the government purchased ones, do we still pay that cost, or is it like, government provided and we just handle the bounty penalty (I was also thinking about asking what happens once the bounty penalty total reaches the price of the provided aircraft)?

It's been ages since I wrote a longer scene with Nonna in it, and she's just starting to lose a bit of her cockiness now that she's realized she got lucky early in the war and needs to brush up on her flying. Hoping to develop her relationship with her squadron mates a little more too, since she seems a little disconnected from them.
