Yeah I see now. Sorry that was my last post of the night, so I must have missed the new addition... damn, I was hoping Dash could have taken down the Mirage III at least.
But then I guess she is still new to the Flogger, and flying generally. Reading up on Soviet PVO training has led me to conclude she's been flying about five years by this point (one year basic DOSAAF+four years PVO training), having started out flying either an L-29 or L-39 trainer before qualifying on a Su-15 her last two years in flight school. Amusingly, this means that she probably isn't really qualified for nighttime or instrument only flying, only daytime flight under VFR. The only night mission she went on that I can remember is the valley one when she first got her MiG-23P, and she didn't exactly do stellarly in that one, being jammed like 80% of the mission meaning she could only shoot short ranged R-60s at her opponents. Also, with the exception of her first mission (which should probably be discontinuity, but I digress), most of her kills have been against bombers. Given that, I kinda feel bad that Nonna has so many kills, but then by this point she's probably lagging behind everyone else, having spent some time doing more basic training with students in the classroom than flying.
By the by, what would you guys think about Nonna getting a new call sign? Any suggestions on a fitting title for her, since y'all are her squad mates?
