Just for the travel - Viavee's not going anywhere in specific, given they can't, but their circle is going to end up taking them in some random direction. The only thing they're doing with the mud is making a mudball and carrying it with them.

I'll need a few revisions first; sorry, holidays, so posting can be slow.

Number one, you character should have no memory of his past. So, he might be horribly burned and try and hide the burns, but he shouldn't know why he was burned.

Secondly, you're the survivor of a cataclysm that destroyed essentially everything except for a few lucky humans. A sword isn't part of that equation.

Anyway, apologies for the delay all. I'll be posting soon with luck; let me give you a quick rundown of Jarn's day, so everyone understands approximately how things work.

Jarn awoke at about eight am, when the sun rises in this new world. After a few brief minutes of faffing about, he walked south for an hour, eventually coming to the mud-flats. It was 9:00am. He then converted some mud into water (1 Thaum), which took four hours (the standard amount of time for a Thaumic recipe). It was 1pm. He then walked east, to the joining of the dead woods and mud, which took until 2pm. Creating the seed took until 6pm and the last vestiges of his energy. The sun will set in just two hours at 8pm, which is how we'll treat day-night cycles.

Also, Grim, I'm assuming Viavee might wander away from the sun. As such, heading west for an hour, it sights a gaping chasm of sky in that direction of travel, as it strides across the gray sand. To the north it thinks it sees a darker region of earth, glinting slightly in the sunshine as if with water, and to the south the land becomes even more barren, gray dirt giving way to fine white sand.

I'm sorry to hear about your cousin.

He was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when he was 18. I think the story went that his girlfriend persuaded him to have some red steak with her, too bad it killed him in his sleep.

I never really knew him that well (the last time I saw him was when I was 5, I think) but it's still sad to see him go like that. :*(

Grim, as Viavee travels north into the muck he finds it refreshing and quite throughly liquid, but to both the west and the north the void seems to swell in his vision. On the eastern side of his path more gray dust beckons beyond the beleagur of the mud, but beyond that all he can see is an empty sky.
