Hah, well, I'm glad you liked it. I was promoted more for pervasiveness than skill, but I'm not one to turn down a compliment.

Oh, and I should clarify for everyone; actions with a Difficulty of one cannot fail. So feel free to include as many of those in your posts as you wish without my input- just remember that your character's Thaum is initially quite limited. You'll need to rest up and meditate in order to pull off more than the base two D1 or one D2 actions.

The runes Viavee cuts into the sand and grit take several hours to perfect, but as it completes its work a curious ringing sound echoes out across the trackless wastes. Gradually the ringing coalesces into three distinct sounds, overlapping and yet separate, and a gentle melody of haunting clarity winds in the air. Eventually it faded, and with it went a portion of strength that was not strength that Viavee wasn't aware he had possessed.

I can certainly give you an outcome on dirt -> water, if that is what you want. It'll just be more taxing on your character; the reason extracting water from mud is automatic is because the water already exists there. It merely needs to be filtered out of the muck. In the case of dry ground, only the trace amounts would be present, so gaining a viable amount of water would be difficult and perhaps beyond your fellow's means.

I'm trying to get an idea of where everything is in my head, but it's difficult. With the trees as a constant I guessed that Tam woke up near that weird darkness pool (which was south of her) and north of her was the more sunbaked area where Jarn was? I called it a desert in my post, but that wouldn't make sense if there was a marshy area near him as well...Where is Tam in relation to the marsh? Is that where she woke up?
