Basically I take it that Austria-Hungary ditched the Balkans (in which there would be some land available in Europe, but will probably be swallowed by Serbia soon ) and ceded Transylvania to Bulgaria to avoid going bankrupt and collapsing or what-not, while Germany creates some sort of free-transit and dual-governance over territories where Germans live in newly-created Poland.

I thought you only have Finnmark and Kola, sorry! OP/Arvenia: What about a Finnish rebel group then? Or is there a part of the North you don't have?

And @Garwall: No problem but I will use Spain only as a last resort - there are interesting things to be done with Franco losing the Civil War, but Southwest is my least fav region in Europe... so I will take it if there's nothing open in the North/East, but if there's something else to play as, I might prefer that.

I think given the current geopolitical situation in Europe, Spain has a lot of options in getting involved. It's in a good position to win a lot of concessions from nations by contributing military support to one faction or another.

Wouldn't Polithuania simply acquire bananas from South American markets trading across the Atlantic? It'd be far more difficult to ship it across the Pacific and then to cross Siberia.
