How big is each division, and how well equipped? Keep in mind that the peacetime strength of the National People's Army IRL was 6 Divisions, and 5 more reserve ones.

For the sake of continuity...let's just assume I gobbled up Peru after a successful airborne assault(thanks to the provision of British equipment and training) which resulted in Bolivia attending as a signatory of the treaty, making both Peru and Bolivia part of Gran Colombia(of course with the state of Peru being smaller with Ecuador, Colombia, and Bolivia taking large chunks of it)

I see there's a war with the Arab Union. I had promised the UK manpower in return for their assistance and the UK player can assume I honored it with an initial batch of 90k troops(a predominant chunk being Peruvian so they aren't exactly quality troops but this way they won't threaten the stability of Gran Colombia since we conquered them). I can RP the next batch of troops myself if you could update me on where they'll be sent.

Hopefully I haven't missed anything else relevant.

About 1,000 troops maximum, commonly 500 per divison.

That's a little small for a division isn't it? Sounds more like a battalion.

Divisions are usually 10,000 to 18,000 soldiers.

The same thing applies to planes and tanks. So, you're still in a rather sticky situation, with about 3,500 soldiers, 1,500 tanks, and 4,000 planes.

A squad is 10 men, a platoon is between 80-100 men, a garrison is 1,000 men, a division is between 3,000 and 5,000, and a Army Corps is 50,000- 100,000

3,500 soldiers is litterally about the sized as a better equipped and trained West German brigade. 1,500 Soviet tanks < 2,000 German/American made tanks, + 700 Self propelled anti-tank guns + Each squad having a designated Anti-tank rifleman armed with a PzF 44, having a armor penetration of 370 mm, enough to take out any of your tanks up to 400 meters, or about a quarter mile.

Remember that sum of money the British gave me earlier? Well i bought some tanks and it was from a small base, I can lower it to 5 tanks if you'd like.

I am inclined to agree with Cristo on this one. Red Party you can either have technicals and/or armored cars, and at the very most IFV's.

But, doesn't East Germany probably have tanks from trade with the USSR?

Yeah, but tanks require people to operate, and have high logistical requirements. So it is extremely ill advised to have more than a 1 tank:50 infantrymen.
