So, I decided to play Prototype after I hadn't touched in about a year or two, and so I went L a killing spree. I went for about an hour, in which I actually focused making more military casualties rather than civilian casualties. It ended with me destroying about three to five helicopters and murdered a battalion's worth of marines, toss in several squads of police officers.

After the homocidal glee has passed from doing that, I started thinking of how terrible I am, with me imagining the family of those mooks I wiped out.

Has anyone here overthought something like that when playing a video game?

Let's see...I though of that during my play time on Dishonored. If you play Alpha Protocol and look at the stats at the end of each missions, you'll see the stats of how many families you destroy when you kill their fathers. It has more weight during missions in Arab as there, people usually have large family.

The Prototype game, is it a great game? Should I buy the first or the sequel?

It's nothing more than a little bit of self-reflection and evaluation, as I can take this as an early warning for something terrible.

I've concluded that I'm not a psychopath or a complete monster, since I'm capable of feeling a bit of that, rather than just brushing it off normally...... I think?

I haven't played Dishonored, so that doesn't quite stick with me. As for Prototype, I thought both were good, although if you buy the sequel, it'll spoil the first one.

Everything is smoother in terms of gameplay in the second one, but there are more powers in the first one to have fun with.
