Dude, this thread is practically dead. Just look at the inactivity. With out word from most of ya'll I was ready to call it quits and devote myself to some other group. How can you just 'brush' this off with some minor note regarding the chaos of spontaneous happenings?
So, Ryn wants me to call a mod to shut down this thread.
You want me to quite NS.
... also, if you could stop telling me to adapt that'd be nice. I have some trigger words like' "flow with it", "It's easier". Talk of people who just don't want to stand up to the direction of the world;
who don't understand
That you can't stop progress but you can steer it's course.

Bounder didn't deserve to die, he was just guarding his family's territory but pragmatically speaking he was a potential threat to the Farthing faction. Dreamer's mysterious death and Adder's engimatic statement about evil may imply that the serpent was responsible - this death likely served to formally ignite the feud between Fox and Scarface who eventually clashed.
But after Fox is victorious and chooses to spare Scarface, Adder assassinates their shared foe. This puts a permanent end to Scarface's rule and ensures the Farthing Wood animals can continue prospering (of course there is that oath which might cause serious trouble a few generations in).
Did Adder play both sides to stoke conflict and ensure her faction emerged victorious? Maybe... buts its still kind of tin-foil.

Centuries had passed since humanity had taken to the stars. We held a few colonies in the local cluster and fewer still in surrounding systems. Our first widespread encounter with extraterrestrial life was not a pleasant one. It was a Sanguine Hive Fleet which made contact with humanity first.
They found humans quite appealing and quickly annexed human space. During the 176 years of Sanguine occupation humans were harvested like cattle. Humans fought against the oppression, but it did little good. The Sanguine were more advanced and held all the cards, until they didn't.
One day the Sanguine vanished from Earth and human territory. Humanity's second alien contact was much more peaceful than the last. They were the Weseh conclave, a nomadic group formed from races displaced by the Sanguine long ago. Relations were understandably shaky at first. After several decades Earth controlled territory joined the Conclave, eventually forming the Intersystems Alliance.
It has been nearly two centuries since the formation of the Alliance. Two centuries of peace and development for the Alliance and the galaxy at large. Much has changed since Humanity took its first tenuous steps into becoming part of the Galactic community. In the dark reaches of the galaxy something ancient awakens and gazes out at the galaxy with curiousity, and hunger.
This takes influence from Titan AE, Starship Troopers(been watching the trilogy and the animated tv show as well as the two japanese made animated ones), Vampire Wars/Bloodsuckers, and Priest, to list a few.
This takes influence from the original concept which Omega Station was spawned from which may still be found here. More details can be found in the discord, but im still posting this here.
If made as an rp this would follow a local Militia Squad going on a routine mission following their training and recruitment. Then they would go from there, rising and perhaps falling.

Did the Sanquine, when they up and left Earth, take with them some Human cattle? could be a 'Lost Tribe' equivalent to Humanity.

WEll I am intending for there to be much mystery around them.
Millenia ago when they ruled they were akin to the Wraith from Stargate atlantis, cultivating worlds for their needs, but being stealthy to crush rebellion. Then something happened and all that was left were the Remnants. It was one of these Remnants which took Earth, then they in turn vanished as well for unknown reasons, but mankind always has to dabble in things best left alone.

I personally think so. It's the impression I got. Even the Farthing Wood wiki community makes note that in the books it's clear that Scarface killed Bounder (it was witnessed) but in the animated series it's not clear and as you note- seems implied that something afoot. I personally do think Adder killed Bounder.
In fact I believe this is where she got the idea for her plot; https://youtu.be/b8YP5Oa9ZLU?t=568 (from where the link goes to 11:40 in the video)
One can even assume that her comments to Bold about 'I do all evil' was a bit of her way of implying she got him back but- Bold was way too young to remember what happened I think.

Very interesting - would this be sci-fi horror or action adventure or a blend of both?
