Raven looked round, the cold, bitter wind howling in his face, as snow, ice, hail and sleet thundered down from the sky, blotting out the sun, casting the blue-white mountainous landscape in a grey light. He peered off into the distance, pointing out a frigid, massive ice-made fortress off in the distance, casting a long shadow over the valley and mountain faced land, as his robes flapped in the cold, and ice giants lumbered below.

Where's Loki? My money is on the massive ice castle. You know, like out of Frozen. Yeah, the one with the ice giants. That one.

And with that, he snapped his fingers, teleporting instantly to the snow covered pine forest on the edge of the keep's clearing, the castle itself, sitting on a strip of land, upon a frozen over lake.

Stay frosty, people.

Hyperion

Hyperion landed softly at the cool, dark edges of the grecian underworld, blue flames and rocky spikes flaring up from the craggy surface around them. He held up a hand tentatively, casting light off his white-hot form, floating softly in the air.

Sooooooooooo, anyone know where to go from here?

Cade looked around at the pine forest surrounding them, finding himself rather unaffected by the cold climate. As was a pro to having electricity running through your veins constantly. He would've felt better about all of this had he had Charlotte with him...he knew her power was nothing to scoff at. But, as was a good reason to keep her away, she didn't have a clean enough past to survive here. There was too much to manipulate her with, but who was to say he wasn't the same?

Nyx shook her head. "Nope, I've never met Hades before, ironically." She said, breathing in the ashy darkness floating around them. Something about it was...homey, almost feeling as if she were snuggled up next to a warm wood fire in some cabin in the wilderness. But no one else probably felt this way. She was the queen of darkness, afterall. Any dark area seemed like home to her.

"That's fine, let's just get this over with," Hamiri muttered, drawing her sword. She was ready to run in swinging. The sooner she pummeled Loki, the sooner she could get away from Raven.

Joaquin, in the meantime, rolled his eyes at Raven's joke. "You tell more puns like that and we might just ask Loki to politely impale you on a spike and display your dead corpse over the countryside," he grumbled.

Shen Lung smirked, "Well, this should be relatively simple!" he grew instantly to a gargantuan eight hundred foot tall dragon, roaring his challenge from beyond the trees, and began literally walking through the forest without heed. "Over the river and through the woods, to grandmother's house we go..." He began singing, expecting everyone else to join in.

Mourir looked around the underworld, and it was certainly not that of his homeland. Much too chaotic. He shook his head morosely, "Nay." Then he realized that it felt very, very similar, despite its appearance, and his eyes scanned the area, despite the overwhelming shadows, before he began walking in the direction where the most authorative power was located. "I stand corrected. This way."

Ryujin followed, sticking close enough to Hyperion to stay within the light but far enough away as to not draw any aggression from Nyx.

"Come out and play, godling. I don't have time for your games." For some reason, he found himself thinking that if Ryujin had been there, he would've found Loki rather quickly, but pushed the thought aside, instead bringing the snowfall to a halt around them, leaving the air clear as day.

The not so intelligent and witty dragon looked about, but still found nothing. This made absolutely no sense. Where could he be hiding if not somewhere in the blizzard? His claws raked the ground frustratededly, and he stepped towards the fortress that Raven had pointed out, earth shaking with each step. "You can't hide forever, trickster, and when I find you, I can promise that I will break you." He snarled, continuing his approach, the snow beginning to whip about much more violently than before.

And then we have to figure-out where the others went. Come on, before Adam gets back," he told her, moving away from her and beginning to walk toward the edge of the room.

Arael saw him walking toward the area where the crevice was, and he huddled closer inside the hole. Meanwhile, he held Kyoko even tighter against him, trying to keep her calm.

Something is not right...Something is not right...

ASGARD

Hamiri drew her sword and looked around her, angry and ready for a fight. "Loki! Come on out so we can fight!" she called into the wind.

Kyoko began to cry anyway. She missed Xavier. She knew he was close, and she wanted a hug.
Ranoria wrote:Shen Lung growled, trying to find where the voice was coming from, but to no avail. His head swerved in every direction, sensitive nostrils sniffing the air, but even his heightened vision couldn't find the trickster god.

"Come out and play, godling. I don't have time for your games." For some reason, he found himself thinking that if Ryujin had been there, he would've found Loki rather quickly, but pushed the thought aside, instead bringing the snowfall to a halt around them, leaving the air clear as day.
Loki wasn't there.

"Nice try, Lung. But I'm not that easy to catch."

OBLIVION

Arael saw her crying, and he panicked. "No, please little one, do not cry! Please, for your mother's sake...Ah, what have I done!"

"Arael?"

The Angel looked up and saw Xavier staring into the hole, curious and concerned. "Hey. There you are! Why're you hiding in here?"

"...I did not want to be far from Haruka...if Adam arrived..."

Xavier cocked his head to the side and grinned. "I understand. Well, thanks for looking-out for her. Can I see Kyoko?" he asked.

Arael came out and gladly handed the baby to Xavier.

"Kyoko-tan! Hi! Are you okay? You were scared, weren't you?" he asked her, playfully, as he cradled her.

The Angel smiled, as he saw the happy father with his baby, until he noticed something behind the Throne.

Two of the rooms were lit, meaning they were occupied.

Arael rushed toward one of them, and he saw Thana floating inside, caught in suspended animation, his body stiff as though he was dead. The silver glow of the room kept him warm, as did some lights that floated around over him, monitoring his body. "Thana!...But...who is in the other one?" he exclaimed. He then looked toward the other room, and his heart stopped for a moment.

Raven peered into the whirling snow-storm, more annoyed than anything else, his white-cloaked body, blending in to the snow-packed environment. He grinned beneath the mask, and snapped his fingers, magically searching for the trickster, as the others peered through the snow packed winds.

You scared to come out and play, trickster? Dontcha want to have a little fun?

Thanatos meanwhile, swung through the forest, coming out into the clearing, narrowing his eyes, pale grey skin, taunt and frigid over his frozen torso, clutching bone scythes in hand. He whistled into the snow-storm, crouching above the ice, blades at the ready.

Come out come out, little godling.....

Hyperion

Hyperion held up his hand, casting off a glimmer of light, and slowly descended into the cavernous darkness, before coming to a halt.

I don't know if I should go towards the screaming pit, or far, far away from it. Tough choice.

OBLIVION

He pointed inside the small glowing room with horror. It glowed a pale-pink, and more little lights floated above a body that floated inside.

The body was Xavier's. His eyes were closed, and his brilliantly-crimson wings were folded across his chest, covering his arms.

"...Haruka...We have been tricked...The one who hugged you..." Shivering, he turned around and faced both Haruka and the other Xavier, who still held Kyoko in his arms.

ASGARD

Joaquin stood next to Hamiri and began to help her, by sending electric waves through the ground. "Snow is water, water conducts electricity. You can't hide forever, coward," he grumbled.

HADES

Lux stared into the dark hole, and he sighed deeply. "We have no choice. We must continue into the darkness, even if we do not want to..." he whispered, gravely. He then flew forward and led the group into the darkness.

I seem to recall she was your girlfriend, once. Before you, you know, brought her worst nightmare back from the dead, turned her into a glorified zombie, and nearly let her be assaulted. Twice. Yeah, that'd be a dealbreaker for me too. Anyway, what was her name? I can't ever remember--she's not important enough for her name to stick in my mind, although I do love playing with her fragile little mind. Anyway, I figure you'd know her name..."

Seeing that Haruka now knew the truth, the Xavier in front of her-now known to be Adam-smiled slightly. It was an indifferent smile, as though he saw this coming. His tone also changed, from the vibrant, caring tone he had feinted a moment ago to the soft, ominous one Adam normally used.

Shen Lung looked down at Ianar, "You have not the strength to mealt a significant portion of it, and Loki isn't on the ground, anyways. It is better to let the snow remain, for in this state, I can bend it to my whim." The dragon then growled as he stood up, the previously harmless snowflakes turning to razor-sharp blades of ice. "Here we are." The ice began whipping about for miles around in a steady vortex, parting only around those gods whom were facing Loki.

Mourir gestured away from it, "Hades shouldn't be in the pit, I can't confirm this, I am unfamiliar with this Greek Hell, but if my gut is correct, he should be this way." He gestured in a direction not directly away from the pit, but certainly not towards it.

Ryujin gulped. He just wanted an excuse to get out of here.

Shigeru...

And she did.

She remembered all too well.

The flash of steel, the cry of pain, the blood pouring from her stomach, both her blood and the blood of the child nestled in her womb.

The black spots in her vision, the weeping, the dizziness. Falling. Fading. Forgiving...

Dying.

The flash of steel, the cry of pain, the blood pouring from her stomach, both her blood and the blood of the child nestled in her womb.

The black spots in her vision, the weeping, the dizziness. Falling. Fading. Forgiving...

Dying.

Good...you do remember...How many years has it been since you died, Haruka?...Three hundred or so?...And yet that pain still remains. I wonder why?...Perhaps it is the pain of lost love?...The pain of wanting revenge for having lost your life to the man who said he loved you?

He then walked over to the room in which Xavier's body floated, in a sort of trance. And yet you tried to smother this pain...You fell in love with a heavenly soldier, the beautiful Throne Xavier...Kind, valiant, loyal, and a loving father to your child...all things you wished your first husband had been...Is this true, Haruka? he asked her.

faith, hope and love are some good things He gave us...
and the greatest is love."
