He nodded, frowning, "I am," he paused, thinking about the turtle, then shook his head, "not familiar with this turtle. But we are at war with the rulers of this universe, who Raven," he gestured to the god whom Ryujin was fighting, "claims have usurped his power. He also claims to be the "God" of this universe. Despite his chastising of some oif the others for fighting amongst ourselves, he has deemed it necessary to teach us respect. Hence the current state of affairs."

He shrugged then, and looked back to Ryujin, "We have killed two of the highest officers in their ruler's army now. Our most powerful foe is the Rot, this universe's incarnation of Lucifer." He would've stopped there, but turned back, "Was there anything else?"

Mourir looked back at the battle briefly, then turned around once more. "I would suggest standing by until further notice. Getting in Ryujin's way is not something that often ends pleasantly, from what I've observed. And Raven," he brought a hand down to his mace, elbow brushing back the plain gray cloak, "He does need to be brought down. If he needs us, he will lose. If he does not, well," the god of endings shrugged, "Then he doesn't."

Adam narrowed his eyes slightly at Ianar, though he continued to keep that serene look on his face. After a moment, he stepped back a bit and closed his eyes. Certainly, you may leave now...I am sorry I kept you for so long...Go find your friends and tell them I am here, if they want their friend...though... He opened his eyes and stared over at the lights still floating above and around Thana. Perhaps you should warn them...I will not return their friend to them for free...

OBLIVION

Adam watched him leave, and he smiled to himself. He then walked back over to Thana, and he watched him as he remained unconscious. ...You are still asleep, aren't you?...And yet by now you should be fully-healed...But you know, that is possibly a good thing...Though if you do awaken, that is not a problem either...

Zeruel had gone to meet and greet Xavier and Patriah, when he noticed Ianar out the corner of his eye. Drawing his sword, he glared at him, his eyes glowing red. "You! When did you escape?! Must I bring you back to Adam, that he may punish you himself?!" he demanded.

Ianar blasted the angel with the most powerful fireball he could muster
"you annoying idiot, your master released me, leave me alone or YOU shall suffer his wrath"
Ianar thought for a bit
"I am tired...deliver me to my allies, they fight near thanakrons cave I belive"
He looked at the angel expectantly

Zeruel blocked himself, though he was still hit by the blast and thus burned a bit. When he let his guard down again, he seemed rather surprised that Adam would release him so easily, but then he heard a voice in his head.

Behave yourself, Zeruel. I have indeed released him. All shall be understood in time. Now bring him where he needs to go.

Immediately, the Angel backed-down, and he grabbed Ianar's arm. He then flew him in the direction from which he had last felt Patriah's Magic. They were nowhere near THANAKRON'S cave, but in deep space, searching for Oblivion.

"There has to be some sort of portal somewhere...A wormhole or something..."
"I don't see anything! AAAAAUGH!!! WHAT DID HE DO TO THANA?!?!"
"Patriah, you need to calm down. Can you still sense his Magic?"
"Yes!"
"Then he must not be fa-Ianar!"

Xavier was the first to spot Ianar coming, as Ianar let down his invisibility. Zeruel flew next to him, calm but begrudging, not enjoying guiding Ianar around.

"Ianar! Are you alright?" Xavier asked him.

Patriah, on the other hand, completely ignored Ianar and rushed at Zeruel, grabbing him with a clawed foot. "WHERE IS THANA?!" he demanded.

"Your former Master is being kept and healed by Adam. He will return him when he is finished with him. You have no business over-"

"I'M TAKING HIM BACK WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!!! NOW TELL ME WHERE TO GO!!!!" the Mage interrupted harshly.

Zeruel merely scowled at him. "Don't be so hardheaded. He is in the best care possible, at the moment. Adam has no desire to hurt him, but if you go and try to capture him back, Adam will destroy you. Now you may come with me, but you must accept Adam's terms," he explained.

Xavier faced him glumly. "And what would those be?" he inquired.

"One of you must stay in the dimension, and the other must go back," the Angel replied.

Both Patriah and Xavier were stunned. Adam wanted to hold one of them for ransom?!

"I understand if you cannot choose now. Perhaps you should finish your fight with Raven before you come for Thana, as I am certain he will die if you come for him now," he explained.

"How do you know that?!" Patriah demanded.

"I am perfectly united with Adam's will. I do not speak my own words, but his, when I am commanded. All of this he has told you, because he is merciful to you. Now what shall you do?" Zeruel asked, matter-of-factly.

Xavier and Patriah stared at each other again, and then at Zeruel. On one hand, Xavier knew Patriah wanted to go save Thana as quickly as possible, but also that Raven would now be out to kill him, because he turned on him. On the other hand, Patriah did not want to admit it, but after having felt Adam's power through his reading of Charlotte's emotions, he was afraid to face him. It ashamed him that he was afraid of this monster, but the pain he had caused Charlotte...was like nothing he had ever felt before.

"We will return for him," Xavier replied, simply. He then turned to Ianar. "Come on. Let's go finish Raven, then..." he told him.

Patriah stared at Zeruel, having calmed himself a bit. He turned into his human form, and he stared at him, hopefully. "...Is he really safe?" he asked.

Zeruel nodded stoically. "I will make sure he is taken care of. Now go," he told him.

Semi-reluctantly, Patriah nodded and left after Xavier. Thana...please hang-on...I will come back for you... he told himself.

Otohime, having sat out of these affairs for the most part, suddenly blocked off Xavier and Patriah in her dragon form, wings flared out to the sides, the pink scales covering her form gleaming in the sunlight as she growled, "Neither of you are going anywhere near that fight. Whether you admit it or not, you're both exhausted and hurt, I can see that much. Father and Hamiri can handle this one on their own." She was obviously pretty determined about this, eyes fierce.

Shen Lung, meanwhile, licked his lips as he gazed down upon Ryujin. You know, he's not exactly guarding himself from anyone else who shows up. I could hit him with a good lightning bolt right now and then finish him off...I'd be on the right side of the battle, too, with Raven.

Mourir was steadily approaching the combat, black energy sparking around him as he twirled his mace in hand, still undecided about whether or not he would join the fight.

The fireball, like the others, dissipated, and Mourir scowled, "I said enough." He raised a hand, black energy coalescing into a dense orb in it, "I don't have time for your games, and if you continue I will have no choice but to retaliate." Granted, the fireballs were relatively weak, and Ianar couldn't actually hurt him with them, but the hostility was enough reason to fight back.
