He took a moment to calm himself, trying to speak without crying this time. If the truth had to be told, then so be it.

The draining of emotion from Raphael's face was a sure sign to Lux. He was defending himself. He had wounded him.

Why am I telling him this...

He is my brother...he deserves to know the truth...

But I have broken him...

No...I cannot do this...I cannot...

I do not want to lose him!

He is the only one besides Inari who has ever completely cared for me!

Why am I the way I am?

Why am I such a fool?!

He shook his head, fighting back the tears and the fears. "I am not lying...I told them to kill her...they listened to me...I saw it happen...I am the source of your wounds, your fear, your broken heart...I am the reason for all of your pain..." he continued, trying to keep his own voice at a steady monotone, to hide his own breaking heart.

Raphael picks his brother up by the front of his shirt.

And slaps him across the face.

"Don't you dare f*cking lie to me. Don't you dare. I know what happened. If you're so f*cking certain, tell me. Tell me exactly what happened." he whispers, his face emotionless, but his eyes a roiling inferno of pain and anger.

Patriah himself was shocked at what he was hearing, but seeing Raphael get that angry shocked him even more. "Hey hey hey, Raph! Stop! Put him down! C'mon, this isn't how this is supposed to-"

"You do not have to defend me, Patriah...it is fine..." he whispered. Looking Raphael in the face, he spoke to him, trying not to show him how terrified he was.

"I can only tell you how it happened as I saw it. I did not know who you were then. The ronin were angry you had not paid them tribute. You were not willing to sacrifice others to these wicked men. I was among them, I saw what was happening. Being wicked, I decided the way to cause the most destruction was to hurt you, yet not directly..."

It was no use. He had to take another breath, as he was struggling to get the story out. Seeing the fire in Raphael's eyes, he knew something was coming, no matter what he told him.

"...I suggested to one man...that he hurt Honoko...the girl you were in love with...the village chieftain's daughter...He decided it was worth following...And he told the other men. I witnessed them kill all of those people. I saw you as you felt helpless against them...and I watched them killed Honoko in front of you..."

Having finished his account, he bowed his head, and tears fell to the floor.

"...Why...w-why did you not kill me...when you had the chance...When I-I had possessed your brother and threatened to destroy everything for you again...You could have destroyed me...You could have...rid yourself of me...of your pain...I am your pain, Raphael...I have done these things to you...I..." He couldn't continue.

What else is there to say?

You have already told him to kill you.

Now he will do it, and you will be sent back to Hell.

Did you see how days before that I had already incurred the wrath of that man by besting him in a duel and then leaving him with his shame? Did you see the hate he already had for me? That he had for Honoko because she would never bow to him? You didn't do sh*t, Lux, he was already planning to kill her, and me, and everyone. All you did... was probably speed up the process." Raphael whispers, a snarl slowly approaching his face.

"And you wanna know why I didn't kill you? Why I didn't destroy you right then and there?"

He sighs, shaking his head.

"There are two reasons. The first, and the one that... doesn't really have any real clout in the situation? It wasn't my place to distribute justice and punishment. The second..."

He looks away from Lux.

"I have been taught forgiveness all of my existence. I have seen forgiveness all of my life. I have practiced forgiveness all of my life. And I practiced it at that moment."

He looks back at Lux, pain and sadness and tears in his eyes. "And I'm glad I did. Because if I didn't, I wouldn't have my beautiful, wonderful, pure, perfect brother like I do right now."

Ryujin watches, speechless, eyes wide. What the hell is going on? This all makes no sense, at all... He looks back and forth between Raphael and Lux, his mind working as fast as it ever has.
Lux killed Honoko? But that doesn't make any sense, Lux loves Raphael, he wouldn't have ever tried to hurt him... Then he thinks back to when the shadow possessed Xavier. Or could he..?
Otohime steps forward, about to intervene, when Raphael starts talking again. She puts her hand over her heart, sighing. He really is the sweetest person I've ever met...forgiveness comes so easily to him.

He smiled, finally feeling some sort of true comfort. Some true release.

My sins have been confessed...

And yet...he still loves me...

I did not lose him...

I am still here...

Meanwhile, close by, Patriah was covering his own eyes with his scarf. Tears were falling from his own eyes, seeing two brothers forgiving each other. He turned his back to them, trying to straighten himself out.

"At least tell me why you would try to kill Violet and Mair would only place her in the healing pool only if she had life-threatening injuries". "Why would you kill the one you love, answer me that."

(OCC: One she was already anger at said dragon when she learn that he hurt Mair and I meant him by not talking about her really, or he's reason for tying to kill her. And I going to stop posting this late was I think it affecting my posting ability.)

Jawzarr blinks, snarling. That...actually hurts. He growls and brings his forearm down on the weapon, breaking the scythe's pole in two, then blasts Sira back with sunfire before yanking out the scythe, which has pretty much no connection to his soul now that it isn't connected to Sira. He looks at the weapon, then at Sira.
"You'll pay for that little God. If you are so omniscient, you'd know my past and why I did what I did. Never doubt for a second that I loved Violet, but it very much seemed that she was doing exactly what all the others have done, and that is betray me." He roars, the sound scaring off any wildlife within a few miles, and slams his fists together, leaves falling from the trees at the shockwave, "I sincerely hope you have another weapon, because I want some kind of challenge godling!" All the while, the scythe wound starts to mend, but the pain ebbs away too slowly for his liking. I don't like this at all...

Ah, sorry. I thought he meant just talking about Violet, my bad for keeping you up this late...and I just posted because ma german shepherd woke me up with a bunch of slurps.
And Sira shouldn't be hurt too much from the sunfire, I would think. It's the punches and kicks that are going to hurt/

"The scythe doesn't break and Jawzarr actually pulls out part of his soul and it gives him an immeasurable amount of pain when he does it and the scythe is stuck to his soul. Sira gets up and her face is now a skull with bits of flesh on it and her eyes are black. "THAT IS IT, I SIRA HEREBY CURSE YOU JAWZARR TO A LIFE OF ETERNAL TORMENT". Sira remotely uses the scythe to improperly put his soul back into his body and it will cause him alot pain till it is properly set back into place. A cut appears cross his chest and the wound festers instantly. "That wound will never heal and insects will come to eat the infected wound and if you touch Mair again". Sira snaps her finders and a second wound appears on his back and heals slowly and painfully. "I will make it worse for you and now I will make sure you will never see Violet again." For I could have brought her soul back for you, for you to talk to her but, that chance is gone now". "Sira summons her scythe and it painfully leaves his body and returns to her hand. "I felt from your soul that you can't die and now you will wish you where dead". Sira disappears after saying those words. Leaving Jawzarr alone with his curse.

"I guess I'll just find her...and kill her." He frowns, "But first I need a sword." He walks towards the school, not really sure how to get the wounds to heal, and not caring either.
I'll just find that Mair girl again...and then she'll tell me where that damned death goddess is. He jumps towards the school, landing by the doors, and walks in, sniffing her out before heading in her general direction. It doesn't take long to find her, and he growls when he sees the protector of the living.
"Where can I find Sira?" His words are a threatening snarl, his fists balled tightly.

"He did what?!... Swear to me you're telling the truth, that this isn't some game. This isn't the way things are supposed to be... If you're lying..." She seized the girl by the wrists, crying out, "Swear it!"

"I--I swear!" Her voice was choked, afraid. She felt herself falling to the ground, staring up in horror as the other turned away, shaking her head.

"No. This is wrong. This isn't how it should have been, this wasn't supposed to happen!" She paused, turning around. "You know what's going to happen now..."

She nodded, and began to weep.

"I... I don't want to die..."

"Oh, Charlotte..." She felt herself being embraced, and she trembled violently, sobbing.

"Nobody does."
