They were pretty good friends with the Ottomans, but controlling them would be difficult as its a desert. My suggestion is to keep them under your suzerainty.

The only reason I'd think the Northern Arabian Desert would be the Rashids would be because I looked up Pre-Saudi Arabia and saw that the Rashids fit the Ottomans Claimant in the Region.

They don't have to be the Rashids, or only the Rashids. It could be a bunch of Ottoman allied Tribes, or it could be some Turkish state.

I mean, China is still there. Just cause I ain't playing him doesn't ignore the fact that there is a China (Whether it's Christian or not, is up to OC ). You can still finance an NPC China to attack Korea. There is also Siam, which apparently also Westernized.
