Seeing their sons ingenuity, they saved up to send him to a college to further his teaching. He studied economics at the University of Flussheim, and gained a masters degree. Never finding a party suited to him, Thor wanted to join one that he believed to have all the right ideas. With free trade as its core ideology, the Mercantile Party suited him down to the ground. He joined them on his 24th birthday, and is still relatively new, but has brought massive voters to them in his local region as Thor is a well trusted member of society.
