When I followed that link, my recommendations were "Adolf Hitler - Seven Nation Army" and several Steam Powered Giraffe music videos.
I have...strange recommendations.

Additionally, the Empire has only just been reunified after centuries of civil war. This setting would also allow for some more creative freedom, since the circumstances of this period aren't quite as well-defined as the "modern" period.
I also have plans for some dastardly necromantic deeds, and behind it all the machinations of gods and daemons. I have an idea of the direction I'd want to go and some major plot points, but I want to leave it open enough for the PCs' goals and backgrounds to influence the overarching narrative.

Well, magic in Warhammer is a very scary thing; you'd be daft not to be wary of it. I do get the impression, though, that over the centuries, attitudes have generally shifted from "He's acting unusual, kill it with fire!" to "Let's wait until he actually does something illegal, then kill it with fire." As a general rule of thumb, anyway.

Whatever floats your boat. I rather like playing my sci-fantasy, Dune-esque star-state with little to any focus on real-world physics - spare when I indulge it for my own, personal satisfaction. Who doesn't like a little quark-gluon plasma with their atrophied prescients every now and then?

Or Ascendancy level shit like gravimetric catapults and warp/star lane destabilization devices.

I see Kyrusia on the RP subforums, so I assume he likes to RP sometimes.
Plus, it's not always a good thing to have a Moderator interested in this thread. Like when there's a specific post that interests them...
