By request, Madhouse Productions will sponsor a Gameplay panel the last Saturday in August. This is a continuation of the Gameplay panel held during the 2017 NS Roleplay Symposium. Our panelists will offer roleplayers a glimpse into the world of Gameplay, and answer questions you might have about terminology, purpose, and organizations.

This event is open to all NationStates roleplayers regardless of subforum haunt.

Hmm...any features or schticks anyone is looking for with a small RP group, or nah? Essentials, anyways. I know asking what a member could possibly do to help others is good, as well as promoting players' own RP's and using it to chat. It'd be 18+ though, since it's coming from a group that already cusses and talks about some weird shit when not engaged in RP.

Then again, it's still in consideration, since Stormy and a few others suggested it. I'm just wondering.

I at least have a rough draft OP (I wing all my shit in three minutes and touch up easily, so it's no difficulty), and a nice little emblem. I like themes.

You should also have an application system as well. Keeps the spammers out.

I did it.

Things that others can't? Hmmm. The discord (link given upon request/big kids only) probably isn't as structured, but it's super lax, and nobody in it seems to give a shit about language or content, so I could at least say it's pretty casual. Also got folks in it who don't actually intend to be in the group as well, since it's not like it's some exclusive club.

Music and art promotion tabs for members as well? I do enjoy sharing music of all sorts, and art.

Someone suggested tabletop games, but I'm not sure how that would work. Maybe.

There's Pandora's Box, which is still sort of young, but it's in its second little mission right now. There's also The Ancient Ones I suppose, if you post at a fast pace. Both of those are Multiverse-genre though. Players are pretty chill and welcoming in my experience, however.

Ugh, I feel like shit. Got mad today, took it out online, nearly fell out/got sick from the heat and almost flipped out again. Just a few days after I fainted and busted my side on a furnace switch and broke a container. FML.

I think the heat is getting to be too much this summer, not like last year or any other year.

Mm, indeed. Good sorts of RPs, though not my cuppa atm: most are continuations of previous RPs, which is rough to get on the ground floor of.

I really want to get into a sort of Traveler style character sci fi rp. Crew of a small space freighter or something. I would start one but I actually want to participate.

Have you looked at Rupudska's Vast and Empty Sky RP? It has a very similar premise, with RPers being a band of mercenaries and general ne'er-do-wells escorting a freighter through uncharted space.

Not terribly far really- we've just left the first planet, run in to the first pirate ambush, but there's plenty of room for new people given some characters have gone inactive. 3 IC pages will look intimidating, but most of that is character introductions, not anything of substance.

Don't see many post-apocalyptic ones out there apart from maybe the worldwide blackout Imperial Idaho one.
