Hello quick question how come I keep seeing the same names when people have a banned players section on their RP threads?

Because some people don't know how to play with others.

I don't like multiplayer in some online games, if you want to know.

Believe it or not, I'm planning to write my own stories so I can be a good novelist. Needless to say, it isn't easy when you're busy with something. Or you don't know what to write. Or you forget your ideas by the time you have some free time on your hands.

I'd figured NS may a good place to practice writing. They say practice makes perfect~. For now, I'm content with just jotting down ideas as well as working on my story settings in the meantime. Can't get the good story without completing a settings.

I will give him that! There were a few above though that just said flat out: "I have an idea." And left it at that. Not that its wrong or anything but it left me wanting.

Right, well, figured I'd make sure!

Anyhow, here's the long version:

Currently, my idea revolves around the Old Man Logan comic series. For those who haven't read the book (and I really recommend you do), at some point following the first Marvel Civil War and Captain America's death, the supervillains finally got their shit together (under the direction of Red Skull, Magneto, Doctor Doom, and the Abomination) and conquered North America (the rest of the world gets thrown into chaos somehow, probably involving nukes or the superhuman equivalent). The X-Men were slaughtered by Wolverine (courtesy of Mysterio, who would've guessed?), the Avengers got spread too thin trying to defend various parts of the country and also destroyed, and the Fantastic Four are presumably disposed of as well (though Reed and Sue's fates are unknown, according to Hawkeye, who managed to survive). The remaining heroes were too scattered and out-numbered to do much, and thus the US got divided into 4 quarters:


As you can see, management shifts around a bit in the new world order in the dozen or so years since the Villain's Uprising. By the end of the comic series, Wolverine, in a journey across the Former-US to save his new family, is involved in the murders of 3 of 4 of the Quarter's leaders (Hulk, Kingpin, and the Red Skull). At the end of the book, he wanders out into the desert, seeking to bring justice to the wasteland.

It would be in this newly liberated world that the RP would start. The player characters would be new characters. They can be related to old world villains or heroes (I'll probably compile a list of ones that are off limits), or entirely unrelated figures. Either way, they're seeking their way in the new wasteland. Perhaps they're seeking to bring justice to it, make their own little fiefdom, or maybe just trying to make it through the day.

For all you TL;DRs: Mad Max in the Marvel Universe. Violence and ambition abound.
