DCS is a pure simulator, the Sturmovik series is WWII and early Cold War aircraft, Rise of Flight is strictly WWI.
More importantly, none of them really have plotlines of their own besides 'participating in historical battles'.
The closest thing to Ace Combat on PC is Vector Thrust, which has become a mess as of recent updates.
