People take offense to all kinds of works of fiction, so I should be allowed to fully agree on banning a game on a popular streaming website in which one of the easiest and best ways to obtain your goal is to shove cameras under skirts and bully people until they off themselves.

But not games where one of the easiest ways to obtain your goals is to brutally and graphically murder people? Or where the ability to do that is a major draw for people to play the game?

Lot less worse than bullying people into committing suicide to make your "senpai" fall in love with you, a disgusting and cringe-worthy concept by itself. The Twitch Staff deemed it inappropriate for display on their website, just like 'games' the like of Rapelay, and forbid it. Their site, their rules, and I can fully see where they're coming from and I agree with that.

Except the whole point of the game is stealth, getting caught doing those things will get you expelled or imprisoned.

No, not really. Considering they're not comparable. One is an anime game parodying the cliches and tropes of the genre. The other, from what I can tell, is a video game that is graphic for the sake of being graphic, and was an appalling attempt at social commentary.

All your criticism of Yandere Simulator can just as easily be turned to games such as GTA V. Apparently, the fact that the main character in the former is not supposed to be a hero doesn't matter, so why should it matter with the latter?

Plus I really don't have the time- it ended up taking far more consistent writing because there were 16 RPers that all wanted to do something.

It honestly feels like this is a case of complaining about shows you don't watch, because Yandere Simulator doesn't go to any lengths to say those things are "cute", or "a fun activity". In fact, its quite obvious that the things the player character does are explicitly wrong, and I'd dare say that the depiction just goes to show how wrong those actions are.

I always feel rather evil for killing her, which I think is an excellent thing (and why I'm opposed to making Kokona "less likable" in the final version of the game). It is rather refreshing to play an evil character without the bullshit of "asshole victim."
